Decent service but a mediocre food. The presentation was very nice but the pastas specifically lack taste. The pizza was much better but overall, I wouldn't say I got my money's worth.

Close to both home and work I have driven by here many times. The space is smaller than I thought it would be. There are about half a dozen tables and the rest of the space is kitchen. Menu is one page consisting of salad, pizza and pasta. 3 options for dessert. Pizza is Roman style. Prices are on the higher end with pastas priced between 15 and 22 bucks. Portions are generous though. There is no complementary bread with your meal. We arrived for lunch at noon and there was only 1 other table and as a result service was good. Staffing was 2 people. I ordered the pollo affumicato which is a cream white sauce with spinach and smoked chicken on tagliatelle. Couldn't tell if the chicken was smoked but pieces were generous as was the spinach mixed through. Because it was cream sauce it was a heavy dish. All three pasta dishes came with grated Parmesan on the pasta already so if you don't like, best to mention this when ordering. Someone at the table ordered an expresso to end off their meal and it came with a little cookie. Great neighborhood spot for a quick meal or takeout.

Dine-in/takeout food experience (throughout years)...I got the carbonara pasta and the spicy soppressata pizza. It was a good portion to split between 2 people. Also grabbed an arugala salad to share. To be honest, Levetto is one of my favorite local Italian food takeout. Their portions are very generous, but throughout the years, they have been slowly jacking up their prices :( Still, the way their ingredients are fresh, pasta and pizza taste, yum! Come and try their food!

My go-to place for affordable homemade pasta. The pasta is freshly made every morning and the menu is nice and compact (only salad, pizza and pasta). Having such a specialized menu means that they really focus on making those items well. It's located in a random civilian strip mall along dufferin (edge on a neighbourhood) and there is maybe like 4 tables to dine in (and one long bar table)? You pay for your food before taking a seat and the menu is illuminated along the wall. The pastas I would say are quite well portioned. They all tasted pretty damn good but my favourite would have to be cacio e pepe (w/ added chicken breast). I like that they shave grana padano on the pasta as a finishing touch. We also tried the affumicato and smoked prosciutto pizzas. The smoked prosciutto pizza was definitely the better one. *chef's kiss* delizioso (and super unique w/ the sweet apricot sauce base). It's pretty much self-service w/ additional condiments so don't be expecting good service at this joint. Top notch food though.

This casual Italian place keeps its menu and premises small and its concept casual (almost cafetaria style), which holds down prices. They have a seasonal menu, which is nice in a casual joint. Had the affumicato pizza and pasta. The pizza was decent, though nothing to write home about. The scallions were an interesting touch. The crust was crunchier and brittler than usual pizzas because they do Roman style pizzas. The pasta was alright. It was not as strong tasting as you'd expect from the description (this place is more Italian than Italian American). It was made with fresh pasta (which they make on-site) so it tasted fresh, together with its light sauce. It was extremely under salted though they said they hadn't forgotten the salt. It was a pretty big portion.

I ordered their takeout pizza and pasta. Their food quality was good. The bread of the pizza was decent with balanced flavour and ratio of ingredients on top. The olive and cheese tasted yummy, and I liked the gentle taste of the onions. The pasta came with decent portion of the noodles, not much veggie and meat though. It was surprisingly spicy, which reminds me of the fusion dish my husband made previously combining Italian noodles and Sichuan peppers. I will consider revisit here in future.

I consider this a hidden gem, yeah they have a couple locations but this one is in a quiet-ish plaza. Expect quick and simple service! Plenty of parking but a small location, with a couple tables for dine in... Personally when it comes to freshly made pizza and pasta, you gotta dine in while it's hot!

A small Italian restaurant out of nowhere located in a small plaza. Small dinning area could barely fist 10 people most orders are takeout. For starters I ordered their arugula salad with dried apricots with virgin olive oil. I greatly recommend this appetizer very fresh tasty and appetizing. Then I ordered 4 different pizzas unfortunately I was not able to take photos of the 2 pizzas naming prosciutto and funghi. I also ordered pepperoni and Margherita the flavor was good I think they can do better on the dough for me it's too thick. I couldn't resist the call for the Penne ala vodka which I didn't regret ordering perfectly cook savoury. I would stay away from ordering beef pasta I find the beef flavor too overpowering and doesn't taste fresh. Overall I like to come here again I think this would be at least my 3rd visit. And they also have a very friendly staff.

Levetto has become our favourite place to get quick, tasty Italian food, and also where we set the bar for other Italian restaurants! The handmade pasta is chewy, delicious and cooked al dente, we had a lot of pasta sauce. We got the full sized pizza this time around, and we enjoyed how well the mushrooms were cooked and the taste of the different cheeses on top. Quite cheezy. We like this type of crust on pizzas, where it just surrounds the toppings like so and crunchy, not overly thin or filled with flour. We had some pizza left over and when cooked out of the oven, it was yum! We will def come to try out the rest of their menu. Pastas, salads and pizzas all yum.

And you certainly won't expect it to be this busy especially on Fridays and weekends. They were quite busy on a lazy Thursday as well. There was not an item that we've tried that disappointed. The margherita pizza was one of the better ones I've had in recent memory. The cheese had a good dairy taste and the sauce gave off a refreshing tomatoey flavour. The crust was a good marriage of doughy chewiness and slight crunch. All the pastas were homemade with an al dente texture. It really didn't matter if it's a cream based sauce or a tomato sauce, the flavours are on point. Out of all of the pastas I've tried, the wild boar which was part the day's special was the one that I'd least prefer. It's not bad, but I wouldn't say the taste of the meat was special in any way. And it was more of a ground up wild boar as opposed to chucks of meat. Would have preferred the latter. I really love their lasagna. Hearty, savoury and done right the Italian way. Pappardelle bolognese was equally nice. They also make a mean mushroom risotto. I have no clue why I spoke about main course first, but I can assure you that's not the order they were served. The arancini were a bit pricey, but again delicious. Caesar salad was solid, but would have preferred a bit more cheese shavings. I've never had dessert here so I can't comment on them. It was tempting to give Ciao Ragazi a 5 star rating, but the service was incredibly slow the first time I was there. I think the kitchen staff was just overwhelmed since the Asian gentleman in the open kitchen was responsible for salads, pizzas and desserts. Also, if they can tone down the sodium level by a pinch, it would have made their food near perfect. I'm a big fan of Ciao Ragazi and so is my family and as a result we've returned several times, both for dine in and takeout.

I called the day before right when they opened to make a reservation since the online system showed no availability. The staff member who took my call was incredibly friendly and thorough. In addition to the usual questions about party size, time, name, and phone number, they also asked how many children would be joining us, whether anyone had allergies, if we were celebrating a special occasion, and informed me in advance about the automatic gratuity for larger parties as well as the two-hour seating limit. I really appreciated how comprehensive they were. Fast forward to dinner... Parking in the plaza was absolute chaos. It took us quite a while to find spots, though that's not entirely surprising given how many popular restaurants are in the plaza. I'm sure the FIFA match that evening didn't help either. We were seated at what I'd describe as a "cozy" table. It wasn't cramped, but it definitely felt snug for our group. Thankfully, it ended up working out because we were sharing most dishes and the staff were fantastic about promptly clearing empty plates as we finished sharing dishes. We started with the Caesar salad, the Prosciutto & Mozzarella, and a Three Meat Pizza. The Caesar salad was well dressed with great flavour, while the mozzarella was, as always, a crowd favourite. I was pleasantly surprised by the focaccia, which was much crispier than I was expecting (I've never had it toasted like that before), with a wonderfully buttery flavour. The pizza was also excellent, not overly salty, with a chewy crust and a perfectly crisp exterior. For my main, I ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese, which was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, the sauce was well balanced, and nothing was overly salty. I also ordered the Rosemary Garlic Fries, which were tasty, although I do wish they had served a bit more aioli since that's what really elevates the dish. I also stole a few bites of other entrées around the table. The Vodka Pasta wasn't what I'd consider a traditional vodka sauce, as it leaned much more toward a creamy Alfredo, but it had a nice kick of spice. The standout for me, however, was the Shrimp Lemon Pasta. It was absolutely delicious, and I'd easily order that as my main on my next visit. Since we were celebrating my aunt's birthday, the staff surprised her with a chocolate cake topped with colourful sprinkles and a sparkler. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the meal. Now for the memorable mishaps. The most alarming occurred when an employee accidentally knocked over one of the decorative jars filled with beans. It shattered as soon as it hit the floor, sending glass and beans underneath our table. We stayed still because we knew shards had scattered around our feet, and I was wearing shorts, so I could actually feel some of the debris around my legs. My biggest concern came when my mom mentioned she felt something brush against her neck, but thankfully she wasn't injured. The employee was incredibly apologetic and immediately stayed behind to thoroughly clean everything up. We all stepped away from the table to make sure every piece of glass could be safely swept up before sitting back down. The second near mishap happened when our server returned carrying full glass bottles of water. One slipped from her hand and hit the table, but thankfully she managed to keep hold of it before it shattered or knocked anything over. Despite those unexpected moments, our server was wonderful throughout the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and especially diligent about ensuring the allergy at our table was handled appropriately. Accidents happen, and while these certainly made for a memorable dinner, I appreciated how professionally the staff handled each situation and how well they continued to take care of us afterward.

I ordered the small pepperoni pizza and their "infamous" Panzerotti (fried of course). Waited 15mins, counter staff were friendly and helpful, answered my noob questions with the patience of a saint. Rushed home, skidding over the road ice and nearly grazing the huge snow banks on the side roads. Panzerotti where have you been all my life. Similar to Calzone but thinner and much larger. Golden crunchy goodness with a significant cheese pull. I choose the meat sauce filling (Xtra $2), well worth it. Staff recommended the garlic dip (Xtra $1.50), brought the Panzerotti to a higher level. I was tempted to eat the whole Panzerotti all at once, glad my brain warned me to eat only half which was more than enough. The small pizza had a good ratio of cheese/sauce to crust, every bite was pure joy. Pizza crust had a chewy, slightly salty flavor profile. Not the best, dough/crust above average, then again I'm a little bias hanging out in New York's Little Italy during my misspent youth gorging myself on New York style pizza slices. Mama, I think I found my favorite neighborhood Italian take out place. Can't wait to try their veal/chicken parmigiana sandwiches.

We made a semi-last-minute reservation the day before Father's Day weekend for a party of seven at 6:00 PM on a Saturday. Surprisingly, it wasn't very busy during our visit, aside from one larger group and a few couples, the dining room remained fairly quiet. The restaurant itself is quite spacious, though only about half of the venue is dedicated to dining. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between casual and upscale. It's not fine dining, but it's polished enough for a date night or celebration while still being comfortable for casual attire. Service was provided primarily by two servers throughout our meal. They were friendly, attentive, and consistently kept our water glasses topped up without being intrusive. The food was enjoyable, though not the best I've had at this price point. That said, it's a solid option for the area. The grilled calamari appetizer was cooked well, being tender rather than chewy, and nicely seasoned without being overly salty. The kale salad was a pleasant surprise, featuring a fresh, homemade-tasting dressing that complemented the kale perfectly without any bitterness. The garlic bread was absolutely loaded with garlic, which I loved, though it was softer than expected and could have benefited from a bit more toasting. For my main, I ordered the mushroom truffle pasta. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the generous amount of mushrooms was a highlight. Around the table, the spicy chicken rosé pasta was well received, though the spice level was quite mild. I recommend asking for their chili oil for an added kick. The aged striploin was cooked medium as requested, tender throughout, with nicely crisped edges. The accompanying truffle fries and truffle aioli were delicious. The clam linguine had good flavour but could have used a bit more sauce. The branzino was the surprise of the evening, as it arrived as a whole fish, which wasn't what we expected in this type of setting. While flavorful, it required navigating quite a few bones (wouldn't really recommend it for this reason, not the classiest dish to eat). Dessert was a mixed experience. The banana pudding was unfortunately a miss, with an unusual stretchy texture and an overly sweet flavour profile. In contrast, the house-made pistachio tiramisu was outstanding and easily the standout dessert of the meal. It's a must-order. The restaurant was clean and thoughtfully decorated, and the washrooms were well maintained. I especially appreciated the complimentary mouthwash, a small but memorable touch that added to the overall experience. Note: They change their menu from time to time!
