This review is about a total makeover of my very small upstairs bathroom. Since I told Huck at the outset that I wanted to save money where ever I could, he made recommendations and gave me options where ever he could. He sent numerous emails about products and materials which helped me finalize my plans. save money=sm. I agreed to remove the paneling=sm. He recommended wainscoting from floor half way up and new drywall the rest. Topnotch Results! I removed 90% of the tile=sm. He recommended waterproof laminate flooring. Very Happy! I installed new vanity, new faucet, 2 new lever door handles, and brushed polished all door hinges=sm. My next door neighbor had some drywall repair done and recommended Huck. Drywall is his specialty. He can show you many examples of his specialty as well as his painting and installation skills(new toilet and new medicine cabinet). You will be well pleased with his experience and attention to detail.

He replied " We dont its already built into the price and We dont do nooks" What?! Your a shower and bath company! Then I asked how much for what YOU want to do to this shower? Get ready. He said 20. I said 20 bucks? He said No $20,000. For a 32"x32" basic shower! I worked in the trades my whole life and Im now a home inspector this just blew me away! This shower should cost between $5,000 & $7000 with demo included. This company needs good luck with salesmen like this!

I wasn't looking for a large HVAC company as I know those places tend to charge more and I also wanted to give a small business in the area the opportunity. I called in the middle of the afternoon and explained my situation, and within 1 hour Ken was at my house. His daughter was the call taker and she was very polite and professional and passed along to Ken that she felt my situation was urgent, which I appreciated. Ken assessed my situation and determined my furnace (20+ years old and on borrowed time) needed to be replaced and was dangerous to continue to use. He was nothing but nice and professional the entire time but stressed the issue of replacing sooner than later. He recommended I not use the furnace. After being at my home for approximately 1 hour, he was very kind and didn't charge me for the service call but instead deemed the visit a "quote". Now that is something you would never get from a "Big Box" company. The next day he emailed me a quote for a new HVAC system as my A/C was on borrowed time as well. He said he could even do the install with in 5 days (WOW). His quote was very fair and reasonable, however I didn't use his company but this was no fault of his.
