UPDATE: Still do a great job, but don't think I'm coming to come back, price gouging, every time I come in the price keeps going up higher, kinda ridiculous and now I found out they up charge for removing acrylic nails(wasn't charged for it last time) and I was rushed out the door. I got there at 5:30 and they close at 7 (their cards say 7:30 btw) she was in a hurry and rushing to finish everything to get out early. Ended up getting done with 20 minutes to spare and sitting with my last hand under the lamp while they are turning all the lights off. Just seems very unprofessional. I think it's just this certain older women who's like this, never had a problem with the other two younger nail techs. Original: They do a great job. Honestly it's my fault for returning here but every time I come get my pedicure done it's awful. There's an older gentleman that does a great job of cleaning and prep work is great. Unfortunately when he switches off to the lady her painting is awful. She's nice but my pedicure is always thick smudges onto my skin even tho I get gel. I've learned my lesson and won't be returning. Edited: One of my toes were cut and bled pretty badly. Please be careful this is not professional work and could lead to serious problems!!! read more

I don't like writing bad reviews but this was such a horrible experience that I have to. This was only my second time getting a gel manicure done, so I don't know the exact process and how everything works. The lady who did my nails was very friendly at first but quickly became very agitated when I didn't automatically know what I was supposed to do or where to put my hands. I apologized and said that I was still trying to memorize the procedure. I felt very rushed even though there were only two other customers in the store and another nail technician was taking care of them. My nails are filled uneven, she forgot to put the top coat on one hand and got very angry when I told her that I fee like she forgot the top coat. I have air bubbles on every single nail and now after one day the polish already chipped on most nails and the shine is fading. Also the top coat is applied streaky and she got polish on my cuticles on multiple fingers. The gel polish I had on before stayed on for more than two weeks without chipping and didn't loose it's shine for a very long time. I hope that I just had exceptionally bad luck and came in on a bad day. Because this was an absolute waste of money and I really don't wish for anyone else to spend their money on a manicure like this. I tired to show the chipping and the uneven topcoat as well as the bubbles in the polish in the pictures (they were taken one day after the manicure) but it's not as easy to see as it is in person. read more

The massage was good but that's about it. The tech tried to soak my feet in scalding water to peel the gel off. The other techs explained to him that he had to file and soak in acetone. He said it was his first time removing gel. If this is true, is he even licensed?? I can't imagine that's not covered in school and the exam. He later filed so roughly that multiple cuticles are split, which I realized when the acetone went on (ouch). There's also a split between my last two toes on my left foot. The tool used to clean under the nail was jammed in and there's some separation there too. It took three people to figure out how to use the jelly packets correctly. Some of my nails are crooked and the pinky is sharp. The gel application was done by another tech and is sloppy but at that point I just wanted out of there. It's a little hard to see in pics, but the gel is overlapping the skin on multiple nails. She also used a cuticle trimmer from her desk and put it back when she was done - not sterile at all. The male tech also wore his gloves from working on me to open other drawers, get hot towels, and start someone else's tub. He also used a towel to rub his eye and then set it on my feet. I had a brow wax also and when she was done she took a paper towel and scrubbed across both to get the bits of wax off. It was painful and swollen the rest of the day. I've been getting my brows waxed for years and no one else has ever done that. She also didn't trim them either, which was odd. I definitely wasn't going back, so I finished them myself at home. I'd tried this one since they were closer than my usual place and they offered jelly pedis, which my place recently discontinued. The toes with the split between them are still stinging two days later and I'm hoping they're not infected. I will never ever go back to this place and will make sure everyone I know understands how unsanitary and incompetent they are. read more

I just went last night, and it was a great experience! I'm new to the area, so finding them on Google was easy. I loved how making the appointment was seamless. I was offered 10% of my first visit. The ladies were friendly, professional and didn't make me feel rushed. I had to go after work close to their closing time. I was impressed with how while I was there, I was asked to speak to the new owner for feedback. You can tell he has a heart for customers, and wants to make sure you're happy. NEW MANAGEMENT...BEWARE NO STARS! They currently have removed the pricing chart and the technicians charge whatever based on what they "remember" or what the new owner/manager wants to charge. I had a gel manicure and regular pedicure $54 and a disabled lady beside me was charged $65. I explained the pricing to the technician and the lady next to me. I further stated they can't charge people different pricing for the same service. Long story short we both paid $54. The good nail techs all left, but I assumed (you should never do) they were just as good. **My cuticles were cut, gel was on my cuticle and the polish (gel) lasted a week before it started peeling. *The 2 techs working this day (1) was from a different salon (1) was inexperienced and both were telling me horror stories about the Owner/Manager. Ex. The owner doesn't care about the customers, they just purchased the salon and then later sell it for profit, this is their 3rd salon and it's all about the money. *During the wax I noticed they were reusing the "spatula" and "wax strips" (that wax stopped real fast)! But wait there's more...but this is enough. I will definitely be choosing another Nail Salon. read more

I'm so happy that this salon has new owners/management. A very sweet family from Va has taken over. They did an amazing job on my SNS dip nails and have lowered the prices. They do not charge to remove your old sns or charge extra for the manicure you get - as the old owner did. I'm so happy to have a great nail salon so close to my house again! read more

My daughter and I love this place! They were very helpful and patient with my daughter who is unfamiliar with the process as she's 9. They were kind and friendly. We didn't have an appointment and I appreciate them being honest that they only had time for 1 of us (unless appt didn't show up) instead of taking us both and us having to wait... most places would take us both but then it would take hours therefore I am thankful they told us upfront they could only do either her or me. Ended up appt didn't show and I was able to get a pedicure as well. I always hate when I spend hours waiting around in a nail salon cause they take too many people at the same time. Her nails were beautiful and flawless as well as my nails. We've been back twice and love this salon! read more

Lexi Nails to get a fill and polish..Sunday afternoon acrylic snap off nail and three other nails the gel polish was chipping off..I returned this morning to get them fixed..been home 2 hours and one of the nails is already chipping..so a matter of 5 days have been there twice..for the money they charge I would expect better..this is not the first time this has happened to me. read more

I called the salon prior to writing this review. It was my first time visiting this place. I had a spa pedicure done. It was very good. After the pedicure I went to dinner. Came home to find my nails still wet hours later and a complete mess. I had to remove the nail polish so my sheets wouldn't get damaged. I've never had anything like this happen. I called the salon to let them know and the response was that it never happened before. My response was well I never had that happen before either. They must be using defective products or mixing something into the nail polish. If it wasn't for this, I would be going back. Everything was great except for the nail polish not drying. This used to be an excellent salon, however after changing management several times, it is horrible now! I called on a Saturday afternoon - asking what time they closed. I was CLEARLY told 7:30, at which I repeatedly verified several times to confirm!! I got there at 6:30, and was seated right away. I opted for the Mani/Pedi - offered at $30.00 - as a "managers special". WHAT A JOKE THIS TURNED OUT TO BE!! One did the pedicure while another (the one that told me they were open till 7:30) did the so-called manicure. I didn't want COLOR polish on my nails, and after filing and doing a hurried job of cuticle clipping, she was done. I asked if she was going to put any polish at all, like clear or something, and finally she did that. They were hurrying me through, then at 7:00 - everyone started packing up their belongings to leave. I HONESTLY think that the young lady told me they closed at 7:30 because she probably figured I wouldn't come in if I knew that they would only be open for 30 mins after I got there. In addition to the bad manicure, my pedicure is terrible - she don't clip the toenails very neatly, nor did she clip the cuticles around my toes, so there is still dead skin around the toenails. Basically, I need to go to a more reputable salon for another mani/pedi if I want it done correctly. As for cleaning the pedicure basin? After two other young ladies left from getting their pedicures, I watched as they used a "citrus" cleaner in a spray bottle that DID NOT smell of bleach or any kind of disinfectant. Now you KNOW what happens when the foot basin and tools aren't cleaned correctly - we've all seen and heard this in the news!!! My sister and I went to get our nails done here only because they were open on Sunday, I am glad that we went because it was the best experience I have ever had at any nail salon in this area. They really did go above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with their services while we were there.The tech that did my nails, which I did not get her name, did amazing work with my acrylics. And my sister got the gel manicure which looked amazing with the design that she chose. It is a very clean environment and all of the employees are very friendly. Also it is super easy to make an appointment for the services that you want done and you are able to pick the particular person that you want to do your nails. I will be back to this nail salon and have recommended it to my friends and family. read more

!!!!DO NOT GO TO LEXI NAILS!!!!!! If I could give this place a zero stars I would. I just came back from another salon who fixed the absolute worst wax experience I got at Lexi Nails. I didn't do much research on this place because all I needed was a lip wax, easy enough for most people. When I laid down to get waxed, The girl spilled hot wax on my lip and on my hair. I was furious and stormed off that place with wax on my mouth, fingers, cheek, hair. She wanted to "fix" it. NO THANK YOU, why in the world would I let someone who can't do their job right to start with continue to burn and touch me? You can stay as far away from me because I will stay as far away from this place as possible. I went to another salon and they fixed my lip, my fingers but I had to come home to rinse off my hair. This salon changed owners and it is not the same. I loved going when Kathy was there. She was always professional and courteous. Kathy showed you the clean implements and how she cleaned the basins each time. You could relax and enjoy yourself and not feel rushed. After it changed ownership, I went back twice. The people aren't very friendly and they rush you right out of there. I expect a pedicure to last 45+ minutes especially when you pay $25+ along with a 20% tip. A pedicure there now is less than 30 minutes and not relaxing at all! I no longer go there. read more
