It could be the diversity of the crowd. It could even be the food and drinks. I would not do this event any justice if I limit it to one thing that makes it great. The NOLI Night Market has a Brooklyn NY vibe without the huge high rise buildings. When I try to explain this event I'm compelled to use terms like: abstract, eclectic, artsy just to attempt to explain the vibe. Reminds me of Asheville NC because of all of the liberal arts school in the area. It may seems like I'm rambling but that's this event in a nut shell. So hard to put the vide into words or even explain it. When I'm ask about I just say you have to try it. That's all I can come up with. I purchase some really cool laser etched wine glasses here as well as some classic vinyl records. My daughter purchase some homemade soap from some very young entrepreneurs and some home made doggie treats. The scope is just that broad. The food trucks ranges from waffles to noodles. This was my first visit to the Night Market on Bryan Avenue, just off Limestone. It was a freezing…read morenight, but very cozy. This was one of the most authentic events, that I have ever been to within Lexington. It is a MUST VISIT for anyone that appreciates local arts/crafts for sale, food trucks, beer, cultural stuff, etc. They have about 50 authentic booths that sells local arts and crafts including jewelry, the prices are very reasonable and supports NoLi businesses (North Limestone). You can grab some awesome grub, drink (Think West 6th) and enjoy the atmosphere. I fortunately was able to take a tour of one of the Shotgun houses on York Avenue featuring art as well as art in work (building an artistic house) on North Limestone. People and vendors are extremely friendly. This is a wonderful place to spend a Friday night date. Night Market happens on the first Friday of each month, I am not sure if there will be a January NM, but I do know there will be one in December. Definitely a hidden gem that everyone should add to their bucket list of things to do in Lexington. We saw the Silo Ridge Makers Market as we were browsing Yelp. This is an awesome Store. Very nice selection from various Makers and pretty good prices. Definitely worth a stop. Spent some time chatting with Tracy while we were there and is is a great guy and knowledgeable about the items in the shop. Frankfort is a beautiful town. As picturesque as any of the towns on my "Small Town" calendar I get every year.

The story here is a great one, I can't begin to tell it with the spirit that she does, so go take the tour. Being a nonprofit, the money from the tour ($10) goes right back into their business. The fish and plants are really cool to see, go learn something! While you're there, check out the other businesses in the "breadbox", such as West 6th Brewing. You could spend hours here!

They recently moved here from a location a few blocks away, which may explain the closed report. My first visit was really a pleasant surprise. This is a very clean, neatly organized and (as the name says) eclectic shop. Where else can you find really unique items, artwork, furniture, collectibles, and NO JUNK! They have antique books, magazines, glassware, unique art, and it's nicely displayed .... you'll have to visit more than once just to really see everything. Best shopping surprise I've had in Winchester!

I've been here for several charity events, social events, and kid oriented events. First off,…read morethrough all of these, the staff is always wonderful, knowledgeable about the exhibits , and seem to have fun at their jobs. Plus the building, a castle looking building, is a great location to enjoy the exhibits and the old architecture of the house. It's beautiful and neat inside and outside. I enjoy the variety of exhibits they bring in and how they tend to showcase local artists. I believe there is artist space upstairs that I assume can be rented but I'm not sure of that. Most recently I brought my boys ages 7&8 for leaf printing. They had a lot of fun making the prints and coloring stamps. They had a great time. After we wandered over to the small park to the side of the house and they played on the jungle gym equipment. Further up the hill on the same grounds is the Castlewood pool and a splash pad for those hot days. Definitely worth checking out.
