At the exit, I attempted to turn left toward the full-service vacuum and hand-drying area, but a manager named Hugo stopped me and directed me to the self-service area. When I asked why, he rudely assumed, "Because you did not pay for full service." I showed him my receipt proving that we had. After looking at the receipt, Hugo came to my window and rudely said, "You are blocking other cars," then forced me toward the self-service area despite knowing we had paid for full service. When I again asked why, he claimed, "The full service is closed." That turned out to be false. Another employee later confirmed the full-service area was still open and directed us back there. When I confronted Hugo, rather than apologizing, he simply said, "I didn't know" and continued to behave dismissively. When I said I wanted to speak with the owner because of how poorly he handled the situation, he laughed it off. If you are the owner, I strongly recommend reviewing Hugo's conduct and customer-service performance. His behavior left us with a very negative impression of the business. The entire interaction was recorded on my dashcam.
