    Girl dinner vodka rigatoni
    Leland L.

The girl dinner deal is insane and so worth it!! Came with a group of 5 and we had the best time. I think there were 2 men in the whole restaurant on a Thursday night. Servers were kind as well. I got the dirty martini which was delicious and I got to choose blue cheese stuffed olives or regular (very important questions). We enjoyed the truffle fries for the table - they gave us 2 plates for the 5 of us and it was a lot!! The Caesar was good, and I realllyy enjoyed the spicy vodka pasta. Big portion, perfect spice level, and very rich! 2 of my friends are gluten free and they were able to get the pasta GF and the pizza! And the GF pizza was actually huge. We all had a really great time!

Came here for the Girl Dinner. When you approach the spot it's kind of a lowkey entrance. We sat by the open window which was kind of nice. I want to come back for Hot Girl Dinner & give them another try because the first time had its ups and downs. The drink was okay but I had something swimming in my cup so I had to get it replaced. In those instances I don't expect anything free but I at least expect the best service after that! Our server didn't check up on us after a while unfortunately. The fries & cacio pepe were pretty good! The pizza was just okay - lacked depth. The salad was OLD and we can't be playing around with lettuce during these times iykyk.

Last night we came here for my friends Birthday. We had an amazing time and will absolutely be adding this establishment to our frequent flyer list of restaurants for date night or with friends. Our server, John, was absolutely amazing - gave stellar service and somehow immediately felt like a friend who continually took great care of us - definitely will be requesting him again upon our return. The food and ambiance of this place and for the price is unmatched. The entire place felt clean, cozy, elevated, and importantly fun. Location is very close to the riverwalk and great for a slight stroll after a meal. Gluten Free folks (as am I) - they had so many options and also took allergies seriously. They had alternatives for everything without really changing the menu item itself. Also, they were extremely transparent about what their capabilities are for any food modification and allergy. Would absolutely recommend coming here for their Tues-Thurs hot girl dinner special ($30 for a cocktail, truffle fries, Ceasar salad, and an entree - additional drinks are at a discounted price after your first). 10 out of 10 reccommend!

Lia Tavern started doing girl dinner menu available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. It's actually a great deal, so definitely make a reservation because every single seat in the restaurant was full. For $30, you get to choose a drink, fries for the table, a caesar salad, and choose a main dish (pasta or pizza). That's so much food! It was pretty good too. The salad was a good portion sized and I liked the way they sliced the croutons. The sauce for the fries was yummy, and I really liked the pasta. Even though they were super busy, the waiter was quick and attentive. They had a ton of searing and we got lucky to be seated right next to a window. They were even playing sex and the city on the tvs - really leaning into the girl dinner aesthetic!

This was such a fun girls' night! The $30 girls dinner is a fun reason to get the hang together. We enjoyed cocktails, truffle fries, Caesar salad, and lemon cacio e pepe. Heads up it's $10 to add grilled chicken to your pasta. Shout out to Brendan for being a great server! Reservations recommended because this is a popular event! Heard the menu is updating at the end of July.

I'm still thinking about that Malört Spirit cocktail. I wish I could copy and paste this restaurant where I live (STL). I'm obsessed with everything about this place including the bartenders, waiters (divas), and decor. Oh and the food slapped. 10s all around...*sigh..until next time!

The girl dinner for $30 was a great deal - I got the hugo spritz, caesar salad, truffle fries (for the table), and the vodka rigatoni! The food was pretty solid but not the best I've had. Again, for that price I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Service was quick and we were in and out within the hour!

Came here for the girl dinner which was such an incredible deal. I got a Hugo spritz which was perfection then we started with Caesar salad and truffle fries. Both so good! For my entree I got the lemon Cacio e Pepe which I love the type of pasta they used. It wasn't very lemony but I still enjoyed it. The interior of this place is so cute I love the ambiance. I will say, we got here at 5pm, when they open, for the girl dinner and there were already a few people already waiting at the door! We got bar seating and the restaurant filled up pretty fast. Definitely make a reservation if you can

Just went for a $30 Girl Dinner with my cousins and it was a success! For $30 we got a choice of Martini or Spritz, a Caesar salad, Truffle Fries & either a Lemon Cacio de Pepe, Prosciutto Pizza or Spicy Vodka Rigatoni. For $30 it was so worth it, it was insanely delicious! The inside was beautiful and intimate and our waitress was sweet & attentive! The service started off a little slow but they made it up at the end, will definitely be back again!

We didn't know what to expect but had a great dinner experience here. The decor and ambience was great, service was solid, and the food was tasty! However, it is a bit pricy for what you're getting. We ordered a mocktail and the taste and presentation with the fish shaped goblet was very cool. The garlic bread pillows were amazing way to start our meal. We also enjoyed the pastas (Lemon cacio Pepe & spicy vodka) and the pizza! Would recommend trying this place at least once

Came by with a friend for a nightcap. It was not too busy and we were able to grab seats up at the bar. Drinks were presented in a very unique way, almost like a miniature art exhibit. A bit pricey even for River North, but they were made strong. The art work across the space was very urban and eclectic, some of it even abstract scribbles and swirls of paint on panels. We didn't have any food but they basically offer thin crust flatbread style pizzas and some lighter small plate tapas items. Apparently the menu rotates every 6-weeks which should keep guests curious.

A girlfriend and I went to LIA tavern for their $30 girl dinner, and I must say, we were blown away. The drinks, apps, and pastas were all delicious. I am a vegetarian and don't drink alcohol, and the waiter was so accommodating. I was able to order a Lychee mocktail that was one of the best mocktails I've ever had. The vibe was very hip and chic, with cool artwork all over the walls. I'd highly recommend trying the girl dinner- you won't regret it, and neither will your wallet!

Cute artsy venue with colorful and animated cocktails and food choices. Very creative and fun place to visit locally and with visiting guests. So much more I wanted to try but only stumbled into this place as I was taking a mindless walk to clear my mind's mess of personal storm. Guess the universe answered my needs by giving me an hour of childish fun. Here's what I tried dining alone: 1. Here little fish: no alcohol (thought I should keep my mind clear to be able to make sound decisions). Served in a very cute large fish shaped glass. Content was citrusy juice made with orange and passion fruit juice with mint syrup. Very refreshing! Highly recommend. 2. Bottle Rockets: five wontons (chicken sausage) served on a wooden stick and forked into a bed of tall blade grass. The server comes out with a pitcher of liquid nitrogen that he pours into the grass bed creating a white cloudy aesthetic. Super cool. Wontons were average but loved the show. 3. Truffle Lobster Pasta: small lobster tail in a creamy pasta and garnished with saffrons. Flavor was good. Overall fun experience. Want to come back to have more of their creative cocktails. Love this place!

All the premier dinners come with salad, cheese, fondue, and the chocolate fondue - You are just choosing what protein you would like. The Prince Geja combination has a little bit of everything. However, we most liked the seafood which includes lobster and the scallops were to die for! Also the beef also cooks well. Favorite dipping sauce included the pimento mayo, chimichurri, and garlic butter. The cheese fondue is quite rich and the bread is quite filling so maybe get as much cheese as you can on each piece of bread. The chocolate fondue, I think is actually the best course as the Belgium chocolate melts so well and has a decadent but not overly sweet flavor. It pairs well with all that is provided for dipping, which includes poundcake, rice Krispies, strawberries. They also have some liquor that they light on fire at first so you can roast the marshmallows. It is such a well thought out experience. Service flows very well from two waiters who take your order set up your fondue pots for each course, but be prepared to spend at least 2 hours on this experience. Check out the Groupon but also I read a review that they just tack on the extra $50 so it's not really too much of a savings. Not sure if this is true.

Also appreciated that they were accommodating for the vegetarian in our party. Everything except the cheese course can be made vegan friendly as well. The service was top notch! Appreciated that they called me ahead of time to confirm our reservation and ask about food allergies. All the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. They were quick to refill items and answer any questions we had. The location is classic fondue restaurant, cozy and romantic. However, also perfect for catching up with a friend. I love the history in this place and really enjoyed the mood lighting. Pricing was fantastic for the quality of service, food, and drinks! Look forward to many happy returns!

And that's because the menus were being printed with a personalized birthday message! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and struck the perfect balance of checking in without being overbearing. The mussels (provençal-style) were delicious and enough to share among three people. The truffle-parmesan fries: We couldn't tell if they were too salty or just salty enough, but somehow we couldn't stop eating them! I ordered the baby wedge salad with chicken, and while the chicken looked small at first, it ended up being a large enough portion to last the salad. We were also surprised with complimentary desserts: the Chocolate Chunk Cookie Skillet and Buck Russell's Cake. Though I'm not a sweet person, my dining companions thoroughly enjoyed them.

I came here with three others and we all ordered different things from the brunch menu along with a few drinks. The atmosphere here is open, modern, and pretty eye catching, we all heard a few negative comments about brunch here and rather than just taking words of advice we came anyways. To be honest we should've went elsewhere, the only thing about the food that actually seemed to have any flavor was the fries and even they were a little salty like my wallet when we left LOL The Jumbo (not so much) Lump Crab Benedict at $25 was honestly boring lacking any flavor also it didn't even come with potatoes I ended up sharing my Lincoln Park Turkey Club that was good but even it was pretty basic at $21, the Burger at $21 literally looked like something off the kids menu the bun was bigger than the patty LOL and the Blackened Chicken Caesar at $19 was more like an appetizer size and the chicken at least it was juicy not dry. Other reviews about brunch here seem to be about the same and honestly I think it's funny they don't even try to elevate their food when so many say about the same things. I think the only reason why people come to this place is 1. It's located in Lincoln Park and 2. that makes it a trendy spot to eat. So why bother fixing anything when it's just trendy and flavorless Their brunch is mediocre but apparently dinner is where it's at. However after the experience with brunch I'm not even sure I would even go back. Come here for the staff eat at your own expense maybe your food will have flavor or not but honestly do what you want and keep it trendy

I really wanted to like it; this was a nine-year anniversary dinner. Service was really attentive and friendly and I did appreciate that they brought out specific utensils for me as a left-handed person, never saw that before! The restaurant felt a bit bare and sterile, I think I was maybe expecting a little more decor on the table for a Michelin star restaurant. To echo several of the reviews below, the salad was awkward to share and scanty, the soup was good but the bread served with it felt like an afterthought, the sturgeon wasn't anything special though the sauce was quite good, and we are pretty sure the cut of beef was not wagyu or if it was it was not cooked the right way. The beef was the most disappointing part, I couldn't even chew through all of it. The add-ons were the best part - pasta was great and our dessert was delicious. But the rest of the meal was unfortunately mediocre. Hoping that others have a different experience with the regular menu!

I love that the tables are widely spaced out so you don't feel like you're on top of another party. I loved the bowls everything was served in, and the silverware was unique. And the service was great. I appreciate when they left everyone finish before they clear the table. While I thought all the food was good, I think it overwhelming fell flat flavor wise. I don't think anything blew me away like I was expecting which was disappointing. We had the caviar supplement, which they accidentally gave us two of (amazing), which was good but also didn't blow me away. I wasn't the biggest fan of the flavors of the soup but that's probably a personal problem. The sturgeon and wagyu were alright. I wish I left being amazed but I left thinking I wouldn't come back, not even for RW again. I think my favorite bite of the night was the sticky date cake. I think it was the most flavorful but it wasn't the best dessert I've ever had. It lacked SOMETHING but I couldn't tell you what.
