Came here for a quick blow out a few months ago. She was nice and really did a great job on my hair.

Quick background: I took my twin boys here. Yes, you heard it. Their hair is long and curly. We've always kept it long. We've always cut their hair at home since we just trim here and there. I think we may have gone once to a barber and once to a salon. But other than that, we've been able to maintain their hair at home.. mostly by Kris. Lately, the curls seem to be losing it's volume and the combination of that and the length made it difficult to maintain their hair. So enter H and L Drybar Salon.. and boy did they deliver! The Experience: Right when we walked in, the salon is beautiful, very clean, and welcoming. It's a modern salon and has all the amenities of a top end salon. Laura owns this place and she set us up nicely. I suggest calling and getting an appointment and from there Laura will ask you all that she needs to know. She was great with the boys. They got the works.. shampoo, conditioner, trim , even got some blowdrying and styling at the end. The trim is exactly what we wanted and Laura made sure to be communicative the entire time. She is extremely friendly and so very sweet to our boys. She gave us tips on how to maintain the boys' hair on a daily basis and how to help the curls activate after a shower. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Laura anticipated our concerns and we couldn't help but trust her completely. Verdict: The boys have found their new stylist! Easy 5 Stars. I had the pleasure of working with Laura on my wedding day to bring my perfect wedding hair vision to life. Laura was fantastic! She had a whole set up ready to go for when I arrived. She had lighting set up for pictures which were useful to me considering I did my makeup there while she did my hair!! I was running late and she was very accommodating, I did not feel her rushing or pressured at all. My hair looked great all day, it lasted through my entire drive thru wedding standing out in the sun and wind. I brought multiple hair pieces and made sure to secure them in my hair. They did not budge. She also positioned my veil and it too lasted all day. On top of that, Laura offered to take pictures of me getting ready and throughout the process since I did not bring a photographer. It's a beautiful salon, very modern and great service!! I saw the amazing reviews and decided to come in for a wash and blowout/ style.... Started off good and everything very friendly and nice but towards the end a another client came in and it started to feel rushed the top of my hair was just done very fast I was told she'd was going to straighten the edges of my hair to give the look of my blowout more styled she didn't even try to do a middle part she just put to Bobby pins in and called it a day my hair looked puffy and AWFUL I can do a better job myself ? I was excited to come in but honestly was disappointed and felt rushed out towards then end but I'm a people pleaser and didn't wanna make the situation awkward but my hair looked horrible. Laura is incredibly kind and an amazing hairstylist! I went to H and L twice this month. The first was to get a blowout for a trip - my hair was straight for a whole week! This is incredibly rare because I have 3b curly hair, but Laura made sure my hair would stay frizz free and straight (despite the humidity!)
