I stopped by enroute back to Ann Arbor. I have been eyeing the place for some time, but finally made a detour. Cash Only - so make sure you have some greens with you. Walking in, there weren't too much items left. Not sure if they had more in the back, but 1/4 pork and 1 duck was left. It was also an hour before closing time, so I'm sure that was a big factor. I went with the pork belly - asked for a pound and got 1.25 pounds, total was $16 before taxes. Unlike Chinatown in New York City, no rice or veggies, just the meat. I know, you can't compare NYC to here, but yeah I brought it up and it was a lot cheaper in NYC. The important part is the flavor. The pork belly was bit salty, but it would have gone well with rice and steamed veggies. The meat was cold, most likely from hanging around all day long. A small 2 oz dipping sauce is provided with the order. For now three stars, will need to try their duck next time I swing by.

This place has the best Chinese roasted pork I've had! The meat is tender and flavorful and the skin is deliciously crispy. They are consistently good with this. Their duck is also top notch: it has a deep five-spice flavor throughout, and is usually lean yet juicy. The other meats there are pretty good. Can't say they're on the same level as the roasted pork and the duck, but solid nonetheless. I do wish they accepted credit, but it's not a big deal.

Authentic and delicious Chinese barbeque! I do want to note that it's a small establishment, so there's really no space to sit and eat. Also, like several other small businesses in the area, they only accept cash, so remember to come prepared. I always make the effort to stop by here after getting my hair cut at a nearby salon, as the roast duck and pig are my favorites. Both the pork and duck have crispy, fatty skin (the best part!) that is balanced out by the tender, leaner meat. Also, they are both accompanied by sauces that are packed with flavor and compliment the meats well. Pro tip: ask for extra sauce; it's definitely worth the $0.25.

We recently relocated to Michigan and it's been tough not having Chinese food on every street. It's even tougher to find a Chinese barbecue spot like the Sam Woos back home in CA. I've been craving some bbq duck and pork. We finally decided to drive out this way for some good ole Asian grocery shopping and stopping by for some bbq. I was super excited to see roast pork! I love the crunchy skin. I wasn't sure by looking at the pork hanging in the display case if it was fresh or not. As soon as I got in the car I opened the box and popped a pork skin in my mouth. I was in heaven! The skin was crunchy and juicy. Just talking about it makes my mouth water! I seriously did the happy dance the whole time I ate all the pork skins! I had to try the pork just to see if it would match up to the skin, my gosh it was juicy, tender and full of flavor. I was however disappointed in the duck! It was a bit dry and chewy. I'm thinking of using the duck to make some jook. Overall I'd be back to get some more pork and possibly try some other bbq. Parking in private lot,it gets packed but always find a parking spot.

Best roast pork I've had in years. And I try roast pork everywhere. Moist and juicy meat and super crispy skin.

How this place has a 4.3 rating just escapes me. Let's start out with the super sticky tables and…read morecondiment containers on the tables. Super disgusting! And whoever mops the floors must have an irrational childhood fear of cleaning corners. Although the floors themselves are clean, each corner has a disgusting black buildup of filth. Likewise, the sinks in the bathroom. They have not been cleaned well in a very long time. Food: the beef roll pie is delicious. The marinated beef is OK but should be served cold, not room temperature. The steamed dumplings were OK too. However, the noodle dishes were oily, bland, flavorless, and just seasoned with a sweet brown sauce. Further, there is almost no meat to be found in the noodle dishes. What I had looked to be scraps. I paid three dollars extra to have the wide hand cut noodle. It was basically served raw to me. Service: this place has no concept of service. Food comes out haphazardly. First I got my entrée, then my daughter got her entree, then we got two appetizers. Sometime later, my son got his entrée, and the steamed dumplings came. Never once was an empty dish taken away, and never once was a water glass refilled. Service here is absolutely awful. Other than the beef roll pie, there isn't a single redeeming quality about this place. The food is awful, the service is terrible, all surfaces are sticky and dirty. Avoid this place at all cost.

Kung Fu Noodle House did not disappoint. everything was rich in flavor, nice and hot and COVERED the table. Plate after plate was brought out and we enjoyed practically every single thing we tried (save for a few)! Though on the cozier side inside, the place held a lot of people and the servers were so kind and polite, even when we asked more than once what something night be. Our kiddos loved it and we'd definitely return.

Everything tasted fresh and comforting, and nothing was spicy. The tea was also really good. When the cart came around, though... I had no idea what to do or what half the dishes were! Service: The staff was nice and. That said, since we were clearly first timers, I would've loved a little guidance. Even just a quick "these are popular" or "this one's pork, this one's shrimp" would have gone a long way. Ambiance: It's a corner plaza spot and nothing about the space really stood out. It was a Saturday night and there were only two other families dining in, so it felt very quiet. Not a bad thing if you want low-key, just don't go in expecting a buzzy or lively atmosphere. I'd come back for the food, but mostly knowing what to expect next time helps.
