DISCLAIMER: didn't end up renting through them I had been trying to be in contact with Libby's, emailing them and hearing nothing back. I live in Washington and am moving to 29 here shortly. I came down for a week because it seems like no realtor in 29 understands how email works. I went in and was given three addresses to go look at. We fell in love with one property, while the other two were ok. One was in a ok neighborhood, while the other was outside our needs and budget. We returned to Libby's to be told that we weren't allowed to even submit an application because for the one we loved because, it wouldn't be ready for another week. Also, another colleague chimes in saying it was already rented. Along with that she told me that one of the address's was rented out by the owner without telling them. Therefore,we could only rent the one we didn't want. They really have no idea what's coming or going, they told me to come back in a week or two and they'd have something for me. I'm not sure what they didn't understand about I live in Washington, and this was my only time down here. However, they were welcoming, so two stars. read more

Fucking scam artists; they left us without a working garage for 6mths, a functional backyard fence for a 1 1/2yrs, they gaslit us 24/7 about our dishwasher flooding the kitchen for over a year until the head of maintenance finally came out & realized it had in fact been flooding the kitchen, when we moved in the house there was MOLD, cobwebs, & mud everywhere (they insisted they don't clean before new tenants because that's the tenants responsibility, not theirs) but yet charged us SEVERAL hundred dollars in cleaning fees despite us deep cleaning the house before moving out. We were always EARLY with rent & they continously treated us like shit. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE ASSHOLES!! read more

This company declined our rental application because we have out of state jobs (we work remotely) and because our previous landlords did not respond to their emails in less than 24 hours to verify our rental history. Disappointed that both of these issues could have been resolved with a little communication and patience but we honestly feel like we've dodged a bullet. read more

I have my home for sale with Reggie @ Libby Realty and in the beginning Reggie was informative and I often check in with Reggie. This sale is a bankruptcy sale and my ex filed for bankruptcy and so Reggie has to work with the attorneys as well as me and he chose to ignore me and work with those agent. Under the law as the real estate agent has to work with both and he failed to keep me informed and would text me only after asking him to call me to catch up and Reggie claims he sick ir in meeting and will call me back and NEVER calls me and avoids me. He is rude and not a good agent I was hoping for. I don't think he can sell and has issues with being trusted and allow a client who was not pre qualify to go see our home when that isn't a way of selling a home. PLEASE think twice before hiring Reggie. read more

If anything changes, I'll update this review. I just purchased a house that had been a rental, managed by Libby's. It is obvious that Libby's had very little contact with the renters. Dog feces littered the backyard in what was months and months worth. The carpets were filthy, holes in the drywall, a leaking kitchen sink, liquids and blood droplets throughout. Dog hair worn into the carpet. A management company should have never let the rental get that bad. Shortly after the sale, the tenants were slow to move out and damaged the property even more, breaking a door in half, and cracking the others. Libby's failed to meet their obligations of the purchase agreement. Libby's then billed the former renters for repairs that hadn't even been done, which may violate federal and state law. Bottom line: it is apparent Libby's will spend the least amount of effort and will consider a poor job, a done job, and have no care of the property they are managing. I would never trust them to manage my property. Poor communication, poor quality control, poor repairs. Pure incompetence. read more

They take months to find new tenants and are very slow in general. They also don't do any work to find reasonable priced vendors to do repairs. They don't have a dedicated handyman so you will pay top dollar for every service. read more

It will be better if I call you, or you call me, there are lots of variables here. And for me , since I work on commission, time is money. And this is a long-term project. My husband and I have yet to find a suitable house to rent, however any time that we have contacted Libby's reality, they have lied to us, and are very shady. My husband was told that we could not rent from Libby's reality because in our area, there is a city ordinance that states that we cannot own more then 2 pets per household. Upon actually researching the information given, we found that we were well within the given range of 3 dogs or 3 cats within a single family home. We were also told that they would not repair water damage to a house we were looking at renting. Disgusting! They do not upkeep their properties. I made an appointment to see a few places to rent. I was going to be there for a clinical rotation for 3 months. I told Ronda that I planned to move to 29 palms in six weeks. First of all, she refused to book an appointment earlier than 1 day ahead. That's right. It was Monday and I wanted to see an appointment to see some rental units on Friday; I was told to call back on Thursday. I guess they only have one page on their appointment book... Instead of meeting me at one of the properties, they told me to drive by each unit first and then meet them at their office. That's fine. I drove 2 hours to get to 29 palms, I looked around, I even got there early. When I walked into Libby's Realty, they looked at me as if they had no idea I was supposed to be there. Anyway, I re-explained my situation to Cheri and Ronda. Cheri then refused to show me the properties because I was looking "too soon." It was a nice 4 hour round trip to the middle of nowhere for nothing. Thanks Libby's. read more

WORST REALTY COMPANY. Please read! If you don't care about getting your complete deposit back then LIBBY'S is your place. First of all. Don't plan on cleaning the carpets yourself. They will make you hire Libby's cleaners for 200+ Dollars. They will also charge you twice for the service and claim they didn't. Libby's will claim they are the cheapest. LOL yeah right, Secondly. Don't plan on doing any cleaning in the home after you leave. You will be charged regardless. 65.00 dollars for cleaning a stove lol. Right... Thirdly. The women in the office will take days if not weeks to get you a repairman to your home. (That's if they send one to begin with.) Fourthly. Good Luck getting any repairs done. The repair guy never fixed the cooler. The home owner came by to repair a broken water line outside our home. We were still forced to cover the bill completely even though the pipe was old and needed to be replaced anyway. He even verbally agreed to cover half... (200.00+ Dollars) Water was spilled because of a rotting pipe under the ground. All in all our stay was a complete disaster. From leaking roofs that were never repaired. A watercooler that never cooled the house. Poor water circulation. Palm trees that were never trimmed that would knock down the power lines. Outlets that never worked and almost caused fires. Please be wary when thinking about moving to Libby's homes. P.S. I never had a problem with them taking our rent money. They were definitely PRO's at that. read more

I cannot share enough praise for Barbara Dunn. We were hunting for a property to purchase in 29 for about 6 months, at a low price point. Barbara was TIRELESS in her efforts to find us the perfect home, even though the cost would not land her with a significant commission. We lost the first house through an extended 5 month process of endless paperwork and seller issues, but through it all she and her assistant Kory kept us up to date and informed. Eventually we found the perfect home, and we would not have been able to do it without her. Thank you for all your hard work Libby's Realty! read more

Libby's Realty has beautiful people working in the office but when it comes to their tenants and the property they rent out, Libby's is highly unreliable and don't care if a situation takes place. Only time they are on top of their job is when it comes to their money and receiving it. My sisters AC u it broke and it was Libby's job to have someone fix it or replace it and after a month of them not handling the situation, my sister had to get someone to fix and replace it herself and Libby's did not reimburse the cost. I personal had my fridge breakdown on me and it took Libby's 2.5 weeks to get me a new fridge when in reality if they cared about my situation they could have had someone give me the fridge from their apartment next door in which no one resides in, the same day my situation occurred and was brought to their attention. I lost over $200 worth of food, and had to eat out due to not have not having a fridge and instead of helping me with that costly expense, I was told "You should have at least bought an ice chest in meantime." Libby's property also has bug problems and they don't care about the health of their tenants as far as sending someone out to spray around the property. If I owned my own home these would all be things I would gladly do on my own, but this is Libby's property in which they have the duty and responsibility to resolve any situations that occurs. Libby's is good at collecting rent but any other service is horrible. There standard excuse is...."well the people who live out here understand that we cant get to it right of way."Well as a Landlord there job should be more than collecting rents. They do not provide a phone number to renters for emergencies. And when there is an emergency they do not even respond to those for several days. read more

I've never experienced worse service. My husband and I just moved here and were looking for housing. When called we were told to drive and look at the houses. We made an appointment to come in after the driving by the houses. When we went in we were told to drive by all the available houses again. When we called to have the Realtor come show us the house she actually huffed like she was really sad to leave her desk and show us the inside of the house. We told her we no longer need her service, went next door to Triad and got excellent service. If you like to feel like your business is wanted, prefer to not be treated like an idiot, and don't want to deal with a grown woman huff about doing her job I recommend you not go to this establishment. read more

I have rented from Libbys for just over 2 years now and have never had a issue like all these other reviews are stating. They have always been on sending someone to the house when I have even the smallest problem and they are always so friendly when I come into the office. I hear horror stories about other realty companies and am so thankful that I chose to rent from Libby's. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a rental property. read more

i decided to sell my house after a bad experience with another company & covid, and had been seeing really good RESULTS from one of the agents at Libby's, Reggie Macatee! wow! from the first moments of speaking with him i had an overwhelming positive feeling that he was the right person to sell my house! and WOW was i ever right! his acumen & skill on listing price was at first a little high for my then level of esteem (after previous experience) but when on the third day of the listing we got an offer well above our asking price i was simply stunned. i attribute this to Reggie's skill with words, his write up in the MLS describing my property sold my house. my relatives that saw the listing the previous year, with the exact same pictures, they were blown away! when reminded that they saw the same stuff the year before, why was their opinion so different? they unanimously said "the write up of you place is so amazing." truly for me as the seller, it almost brought tears to my eyes! Reggie is a great agent, easily accessible & fully committed to selling houses! what an absolute pleasure it was to work with him! read more
