Post-wash, car is still dirty, not a good wash, especially for the price(And this was the Best one). Mind you I came in on a Sunny day after a few days of raining, so my car had been rain-washed for 3 days in a row. Wouldn't recommend, unless you get the cheapest wash and just want light wash and rinse. Vacuums were good, a spray bottle & scrubber to wash the floor mat would be nice, but just a suggestion, has nothing to do with my review.

I come here semi regularly for a few different reasons. It's close to home, convenient, and honestly, they do a halfway decent job. Even when they were under a different name, they were still pretty good. Prices here have, for the most part, stayed the same over the years. The basic wash is $7 and actually isn't half bad. The next one up is $9, and I rotate between the two. Staff here is friendly and quick, so no qualms there. I never spend a lot of time waiting even when it's busy with a line. They don't offer vacuuming of any kind, but you do get a hand dry by two guys when you exit, after the hurricane force blowers almost take out your car. (I kid, I kid.) You can tip if you'd like, but not obligated. Side note of why I like this place besides convenience and location: It seems like in the past few years, all these new car washes keep popping up like weeds across town. Most of them are good, but for a self service drive thru car wash, Why am I paying 15 dollars to an automated machine and leave with spots on my car and dirt film in certain places? I find that drive through car washes tend to miss the same spots consistently. Usually around the license plate area and underneath my break light area is where the scrubbers in the wash tend to not get all the dirt off. I've asked a few times for the guys here to scrub in those areas so my car is clean and consistently they do a fabulous job of it. Also, they don't try to sell you or have a membership here. That's another new thing in the market today. While there's nothing wrong with a membership, I literally do not want or need one. The guys here also don't charge a ton which is also another great thing. I know I mentioned this earlier, but it really is wonderful. They also have a second location somewhere off John R, which I have yet to try. But, I will keep going here because they really are good.

It's an old and small car wash but the wash is fine and there are workers to towel dry. There aren't any other car washes on Jefferson in this neighborhood so it's a decent option if you regularly drive in this area.

For four $4 less you can get a car washed right down the street with an attendant and I can run it back through if it's not clean. With this automatic one you're stuck with what you get, it doesn't print receipts like it says. I put my car windshield in front of the blowers for an entire 60 seconds and it still wasn't dry even after gong back and forth a few feet. Second, the vacuums here really blow and the pressure washer suck. It should be the other way around where the vacuums should suck and the pressure washer should blow. I could urinate harder than the pressure washing guns and the stalls have no soap half the time. Third, when you pay for your car wash at the stalls, it says a five dollar minimum but it does not tell you how much your car is being charged. It just tells you how many minutes you have. So you have no idea how much you're being charged it just gives you how many minutes you have and then by the time you wash your car it's for 8-9 minutes you're at $10 already. I can wash my car at every other cup out or spot nearby for competitors spot for half the price and know what I'm paying when I do it and not be surprised when I get my credit card bill. There's no way of knowing what you're getting charged here. Like I said, after numerous problems here over the last several years 10+ I only use them for an emergency purpose and I still have issues.

They are located next door to White Castle. This is a newer location that you do not have to navigate and align your tires into the metal grooves to get your car washed! They have multiple drive-up lines that move quickly. If you are a member of the Jax Unlimited Club, it reads your license plate and with a few screen taps you are on your way. The gate will raise when the previous cars clear a specific point. This also keeps the cars in arrival order. I love that! The Unlimited Club allows me to be a good steward of my car and I get my car washed as often as I like for a low monthly fee that is less than a dollar a day. They have optional FREE towel drying by their team and FREE self vacuuming. Clean towels are also available for you to dry your car yourself. Tipping is not expected or required. However, tips are split between the production team members and are gladly appreciated. There are many lanes for vacuuming just look for the blue hoses. The vacuum area also has air hose pistols to get those pesky leaves trapped between your hood and windshield. The area also includes a place to hang your mats while vacuuming them and trash cans. The other perks of this location is the floor mat cleaning area. They have a sink complete with cleaner and a scrubber plus a machine to clean your floor mats. They occasionally even hand out FREE dashboard wipes on arrival. JAX IS THE PLACE TO HAVE A CLEAN CAR ALWAYS!

With the unlimited package for only $20 a month you can go once a day for a car wash. They even have a dedicated lane for members so you breeze right through. Their vacuums are great and they have several size nozzles so you can get in the small crevices to really get the inside of your car clean. They have people towel drying after you get out of the car wash which is a nice added touch. Everyone working here has always been friendly and it seems they stay open a little later than some of the other car washes. It's a great value for their monthly package and with daily washes my car looks pretty spiffy!
