I hired this company to move my stienway upright piano. They arrived to pick it up in a truck that was already full and very poorly packed. When I refused to let them try and cram it in next to a lawnmower, I was told I would not get my $500.00 deposit back. After looking at the packing job, would you trust these people to move your stuff? The also had nothing but a small hand cart for moving equipment. We used Liberty Bell to load UBoxes from our house and to move out a piano. Three movers showed up on time. They were friendly and polite and they worked really hard. They did a nice job packing everything in the UBoxes and making sure all of the furniture was wrapped in padding. The piano was ridiculously heavy and they moved it up from the basement and took it away for a very reasonable price. We were more than satisfied with Liberty Bell and would have no hesitation recommending them. read more

Liberty Bell moving and storage just did my local move. I'm a dialysis patient and wasn't able to finish all my packing by move day. There was a crew of three that arrived on time( great communication about arrival) with call when on the way. The g were cheerful even when tired. I have a lot of heavy stoneware they had to pack extremely courteous( I have a customer service background and not everyone gets it). Most things were pack very well, and only one piece was damaged and it was a glass shelf that I knew I was taking my chances with. Every thing else was fine. My experience with Liberty Bell was fantastic. Right from their user-friendly website to start with to the customer service people and the movers themselves. Every step of the way was positive. Prices were as expected, not outrageous and through the website you can calculate the amount so no surprises. They were great with communications too, emailed and texted me updates on arrival time, etc. Today Jared and his team, in a snow storm, had my entire houseful of belongings on the truck within just a few hours. We moved over the 4th weekend and they were absolutely horrible. First they were late, and one person short. They sent 2 people, one of whom was barely contributing. I called several time to speak to them and all I got were text message responses that they would call back and never did. What should have taken 4 hours, 6 on the absolute outside, took ten hours to finish. They started at 9:30 and left at 7:30 p.m. Spoke to a representative later than evening who said he would address this with the team the next morning and they would definitely be in touch.
