This was a great experience all around. From the ease of appointment scheduling, to the friendly attentive staff and the amazing Dr. Kim, my colonoscopy experience was so much better than I expected! The experience starts with reception, so an A+ to the lovely Sema who was so sweet and got me settled in quickly. All of the nurses here were so caring (thank you Marianne, Lila, Janet and all of the staff who patiently attended to me). The process was pretty painless, even inserting the IV needle. The worst part of the whole process is the fasting for 24 hours and Suprep drink the night before, but even that wasn't too bad. The facility is super clean too! Not a little office either; this is a real hospital set up so I felt safe. Most important, however, is the procedure. Dr. Kim is the one you want. He is calm, knowledeable, professional, friendly and put me at ease right away. He explained what would happen and after, in recovery, he was done and gave me a detailed report with photos (in living color lol). He has a perfect bedside manner and I really appreciated the professionalism of everyone - from start to finish. I cannot recommend Dr. Kim and the staff at Liberty Endoscopy enough. This is never a fun experience, but for me, this is as good as it gets! read more

So, I read some of the reviews that said avoid the payment plan which I did and charged my wallop of a fee straight to my credit card to avoid all that (I have a high-deductible insurance plan). When folks say it was as pleasant an experience as you can get with this sort of procedure at this place, they ain't lyin'. I went for a colonoscopy at Doc Martin Wolff's suggestion, my first ever, at such a young age, and was a little more than nervous. The fact that EVERYONE was so friendly helped put me at ease. And I mean EVERYONE, from the front desk receptionist who helped joke with me to the wonderful young asian nurse who did everything in her power to make sure I was comfortable and entertained as she prepped me before the procedure, to the anesthesiologist Dr. Park who was super kind and took the time to explain the sedation and answer my questions (and yes, I HAD SOME) and pricked my little hard-to-find vein with ease. The office runs like a well-oiled machine, so wait times are ridiculously minimal. Once I was on my side (my head on a soft pillow no less), and they hooked up the IV, Dr. Park said "It might feel a little uncomfortable as the Propofol goes in..." Which it did. I felt a strong feeling in my bicep. That's the last thing I remember before the nurse in recovery was talking to me and I opened my eyes like where am I??? But then she offered me apple juice and popcorn which was oh-so-welcome after not having eaten solid food in over 24 hours. I left that place with souvenir pics of my intestinal insides, slightly high and seeking pasta, not even bloated by the procedure (how do they DO it?) and super impressed by how comfortable, friendly and PAINLESS the entire process had been (you know, minus that darned 24-hour prep). If I ever need another one in the future (grarr rarr rarr, hopefully not?), this place will be my first choice! read more

Anesthesiologist and all health care providers are lovely. Billing does screw you over. They put me on some payment plan and I have paid a few hundred dollars over what I actually owe. I called my insurance and also called my surgeon and they have all told me something completely different than Liberty's billing providers. Now they either seem to be avoiding my calls or simply not responding. //EDIT: So they did adjust my account for their mistake. I recommend that you do not go on the payment plan if you don't truly have a financial need. Some of their billing staff was really incompetent and charged me for extra. Also when I called to remedy the situation, they sounded very lost. I had to personally pull up all of my receipts and luckily I recorded all the numbers. However, they were nice enough to admit the mistake and fix it. read more

The worst service ever. Will not recommend to anyone. I have a deductible on my insurance card. This office called me to let me know that I have it and told me that I have to pay $1000(and then later they changed it to $500 duet to covid) on the day of my appointment. Juliana Decampos - administrative managed said that this is the policy and tried to educate me about my financial responsibility. She tried to bully me into completing this payment on the day of the appointment and stated that I am not working with her. This is the firs time I have experience like this. I got this type of service form different offices, and usually I would receive a bill after I receive medical attention, then I would set up a payment plan, and pay it off within agreed amount of time. Mrs. Juliana on the other hand told me that I have to bring $500 on the day of the appointment, or I have to provide her with list of my possessions. When I decided to cancel appointment Mrs Juliana would not answer my calls for an hour even though we spoke 5 min ago. This is so disappointing, because this people don't care about your medical condition, the only thing they care about is getting payed on their terms. It's a business not a medical clinic. read more

The medical staff were good at what they did, but the billing department screwed me completely. When told I urgently needed an endoscopy I said, never mind, I can't afford it, and started to leave. The receptionist told me not to worry, that she'd figure out a way to get my insurance to cover it-- then assured me ten minutes later she had done so. Well, the bills started coming soon afterward and haven't stopped, so that was either a lie or else incompetence -- either way, I am in trouble because of her false reassurances. I've had a couple of procedures here and have always been treated well. The office is clean the staff is professional and friendly.

My TLDR about this place, the nurses, and both Dr. Wolff and Dr. Park: this is the way healthcare should be. This place is so well-run; every part of the end-to-end patient experience is seamless. The front office staff is clear, efficient, and kind. The wait is totally reasonable, and the nurses are personable and comforting. Dr. Wolff and Dr. Park both have awesome bedside manners, they take the time to talk you through what's going on and answer all your questions. Especially for someone undergoing anesthesia and an invasive procedure, this is so helpful. On top of all this, you get an automated text asking if you want a nurse to call and check in with you. If only more healthcare experiences were like this! read more

My wife just called to ask a question regarding billing, she was abruptly cut off by the person who answered the phone and was told she had the wrong number. She didn't have the wrong number and simplest needed to ask a question about billing. Whenever she began to speak the person who she was on the phone with kept interrupting her with "you have the wrong number" over and over again. This person refused to answer any questions and just repeatedly interrupted her with "you have the wrong number." She eventually just had to get off the phone because it was clear this person had no interest in even hearing her out. This is a disgusting way to treat someone asking a medical question. read more

I just had my first ever colonoscopy here and I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience! I had the wonderful Dr. Martin Wolff performing it and he was so patient and kind. The anesthesiologist Dr. Park immediately put me at ease and answered all my questions. I've have horrible experiences with anesthesia previously and that was my main concern. I didn't have to worry at all. He is a true expert! I woke up with no nausea and was feeling fine walking out. Everyone at Liberty, from the front staff to the nurses were just so nice. THE actual procedure was great. The reason for 1 star I due to the fact that I keep getting calls over an unpaid bill. I've had to call them on several occasions with credit card receipts to prove the payment. Then when you call the operator says you're paid In full. I'm stuck in this vicious cycle of having annoying creditor calls despite a bill being paid in full. My bill was paid in Jan. It is now April and I'm still dealing with this. read more

Everybody is really nice and the facility is really clean. The nurses are all RN's and they are all gems. You get the sense that everybody really cares. One thing I worried about was me needing to go to the bathroom when I got there for Colonoscopy. I don't much like public bathrooms. Well let me tell you they keep the place super clean. Not sterile like an operating room but it's very clean. So don't worry. The anesthesiologist Dr. Park was also really nice. Parking is not that easy. read more

These guys are absolutely fantastic. I literally just had an endoscopy there today which I was freaking out about for 2 weeks (it's been a while since I had been under any sort of anesthesia, albeit this is a very very minor dose). They made me feel completely comfortable and the anesthesiologist particularly was absolutely top-notch. He assuaged any fears I had and made me feel SO much better about the whole situation. The idea of getting my first colonoscopy gave me crippling anxiety, but this team made me feel comforted and supported in an almost unbelievable way. I was here for an endoscopy and colonoscopy and let me just start off my saying that not even the word 'amazing' begins to explain how greatly I enjoyed my stay here. Of course with the prep for the colonoscopy I was pretty hungry and tired, but they made me feel so incredibly comfortable and at ease. The nurse who attended me, Olga, and the anesthesiologist who's name I wish I could've gotten (he was Asian, if that helps) were the most caring and attentive physicians I have ever come across. Strangely makes me want to have to have another endoscopy/colonoscopy just to come back here! My doctor Dr. Chua was also incredibly nice and thorough with the results.
