We were looking for pizza before the Flying Pig Marathon tomorrow. We had just been shopping at the Cincinnati Premium Outlet and found the Hangry Hornet which was close by. We ordered a thin crust, traditional crust and a Chicago deep dish. All the pizzas were excellent! One complaint: we asked for all pizzas to be pie cut, which they do except for the thin crust. So we asked for the thin crust to be pie cut also but they still cut it into squares. Also, there is not much of a seating area. There were five of us and the employees were okay with us pushing two tables together for us to sit together. Good pizza! Nice find! read more

The Philly Cheesesteak pizza from this restaurant might actually be the best pizza I've had in Ohio. Am I going to order it again within the next 7 days? Absolutely! Visiting Cincy area and found this little jem! Service was very friendly and attentive and family owned. Only a couple tables for sitting but many where ordering take out. I hadn't had, The Hangry Hornet in a while and decided to try it again. It was definitely way better than I remembered. It turns out it had switched owners since the last time I had tried it. Very good pizza. If you tried it previously and it wasn't your thing, you should definitely try it again. The owner and the workers are very polite and friendly. This place doesn't have too many reviews , but if you get the chance or if you're in the area you need to try! The pizza is amazing, all 3 of my friends and I tried and all loved it! We're sad we live far away from it! The wings were also good as well! There's only 3 tables inside so it's more of a take out pizza place. They aren't too busy either so you can definitely tell you get more care in your orders & it's quite fast as well. We got 3 things and only waited around 8-10mins. The place is a little independent place. It's small now but will be bigger in august. The service was great. They really seemed to care about everything they were presenting. They do a lot of pickup and door-dash service. Therefore the dishes are paper and styrofoam. When dining in the food came out in boxes. To me it was fine because it makes it faster to take the leftovers with you. The bread bowl was tasty and cheesy. The cheesy garlic bread was excellent. All the garlic butter to the crust, it's so good. The meat pizza is loaded to the edges with meat. Everything has that wonderful cheese pull that everyone loves. I think that the red pizza sauce is a very safe sauce that will appeal to most anyone, especially the kids. They serve pasta, wings, salad, sandwiches, calzones, and pizza. One of our favorite go to pizza spots! We discovered this gem a few months ago and just love the food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Orders are fast and timely. The hand tossed pizza is our favorite with a side of garlic rolls. You can eat there if you like to sit close. It's a better take out place. read more

This pizza was by far one of the worst pizzas i have ever had, it was greasy, soggy, we ordered with light sauce and got NO sauce, and the boneless wings were inedible they are no better than wendy's chicken nuggets thrown in some bottled sauce, honestly despicable. read more

Apparently they were just starting a new register system and the woman taking our order wasn't very good with the new system. This wasn't the sit down restaurant we were hoping for. I've been a fan of Hangry Hornet since they first opened. A local family owned business with outstanding quality and consistency of product. The best cauliflower crust pizza in the area and all the prices are very reasonable. Monroe has two really good pizza joints and Hangry Hornet is the pizza of choice when guests come in from out of town. read more

We were at the outlet mall and decided to try something new. We were disappointed. We ordered the breakfast pizza, Hawaiian with bbq sauce, the Parmesan garlic boneless wings, and cheesy bread. The breakfast pizza was burnt, with minimal toppings. The Hawaiian pizza had hardly any sauce, the only reason we knew there was sauce on it was bc we saw it baked onto the crust, there were maybe 5 pieces of pineapple on the whole pizza, and very little ham. First time at The Hangry Hornet. The place is very small with only a couple small tables for two inside so more of a carry out or delivery place, although fine to dine in for one or two people. The guys working were very friendly. The pizza was excellent, some of the best I've had in quite a while. My only callout would be that they serve drinks/soda in 20oz bottles from a refrigerated cooler. The drinks were not really cold and there was no ice available for drinks when eating in. Having cups and ice available would be a nice addition. But again very good pizza, highly recommend! read more

The hand tossed crust was excellent with a nice crispy outside and a good amount of fresh toppings.
