Victor and his crew did a great job and in a reasonable amount of time. We hired a two-man crew and an extra guy came as a trainee, so we got a 3 man crew for the price of two! They were very careful with our stuff, and had no problems with the bigger items. They brought a runner to protect the floor, lots of blankets and tape and dolly's. I would highly recommend them for your next move. ...and they were available on a Saturday! Just be sure to ask what truck you need for your move. The sizes are on their website. They showed up with the larger truck, found that a smaller truck would work, and decided to bring over the small truck. It was not a big deal. I found out on a Monday afternoon, around 4:00 pm, that I needed to move a baby grand piano that same afternoon. I called a number of places and no one was interested. I got these guys on the phone and in less than five minutes I had a very reasonable price quote and a moving truck on the way. They showed up when they said they would, they were prepared and it took them only a few minutes to get the piano loaded up and secured properly. The piano was moved and set up without any damage. On the plus side, very courteous and reliable for call-backs and visits. For moving, its another story. We had actually packed the whole house ourselves, and only left them the furnitures to pack. There was not 1 piece of furniture that wasnt chipped, scratched or damaged in some way. NOT ONE.Its almost as tough they were just thrown into the house. Parallelely, the beds were put back together ina wobbly fashion. Victor and Jaime came to my rescue when we decided 2 days before we were to move to get professional help! Before we packed, we thought, "we don't have a lot of stuff." Wrong! As soon as we started packing things, we realized that we have LOTS of stuff! Our 2-bedroom apartment was located on the second floor with no elevator and the place we are moving to is a 2-story 2-bedroom townhouse apartment. Let me tell you how great these people are! The move only took 5 hours and 15 minutes! Three hours to load the truck, 45 minute drive, and 1.5 hours to unload. I mean we had a lot of stuff, lots of books, documents, etc. The estimate was for 5 hours which was right on. He charged us $80/hr for 2 movers including a huge truck, plus $30 for gas (25-mile trip). He doesn't charge double driving time or set-up time like some of the quotes I got. We even went over by 15 minutes which he didn't charge us for. I, of course, compensated them by adding more tip! The other best part is they have wardrobe boxes they let you borrow so I didn't have to pack 2 closets! This by itself saved us at least 4 hours worth of folding, unfolding, and ironing! They also disassembled our bed, assembled it, carefully wrapped our cheap IKEA furniture, plasma tv, paintings, etc., and placed all of the boxes and furniture in the correct rooms. After they left, we were able to relax in our living room which was all set-up. For those of you still trying to justify paying for movers, I say, if you take into account how much you will pay for the rented truck ($30), mileage ($1/mile=$100 for 2 trips) and gas ($60); the time you will save (trust me, this move would've taken us all day to do and a couple of trips-they know how to best utilize the truck space and cram everything in there.); the chiropractic visits and massage I would have for sure needed afterwards; and the favors I would owe our friends (helping them move in the future!), it would cost more than what we paid for!! This was my first stress-free move and I am never going back to doing it without professional help. I just hope these guys will still be around the next time I move! read more

I found Liberty Moving on the app HashMove. I used their service to move my items from a upack container to my apartment in Oakland. I appreciated them for being flexible with the date (moving my move up a day, when my items showed up early. My only complaint in the fact that they quoted me for 2 hours (which is all that was needed move my bed set and a limited number of boxes - the mover from my first location did it in just over an hour) but it was clear from our conversations the owner really wanted me to pay for 3 hours (likely because of the discount hashmove was providing). The movers moved pretty slow at times and would disappear for about 10 minutes at times. The move exceeded 2 hours by about 10 minutes and they charged for the full hour and not a prorated amount. As a customer that made me feel cheated. They did a fine job of moving my items but I likely wouldn't use them again. read more

Hired them for a move from San Fran to Tracy . They made themselves available on New Year's day and were very punctual and courteous. Followed instructions to the T and took extra care of my 46" LCD which was highly critical for me. Truck was neatly arranged. Finished everything - loading , driving and unloading in 5.5 hours which is pretty good considering that the San Fran and Tracy are more than 60 miles apart.
