Started off really well, prices steadily increased over the couple years we were insured by…read moreAllState. Really difficult to get a hold of this office and were of no help when it came to a claim I had that involved my window getting smashed and damaging the interior. I was left to deal with claim adjusters and a separate Allstate claims team. What's the point of having an agent? My plan was even set up incorrectly and luckily we were able to fix that during the claim I mentioned after the Allstate management team listened to a recording of my voice of when I called to setup service. They also try to push Safelite glass repair as hard as they can. They screwed up the window type and brought the wrong one. Had to wait another week to get it replaced. Finally, when I traded my car in, they wanted to almost double my rates. I wasn't even able to speak to anyone in the office, I was left to once again, deal with some generic Allstate call center. I had enough and switched to a competitor, I was amazed at how much I was overpaying for WORSE coverage.

Over the years, we have been contacted by companies offering attractive quotes. We found ourselves staying with the same company, primarily because we like to have these agents taking care of us and options they offer are competitive.

Our homeowners insurance policy with Mercury lapsed, and we were never notified--neither by our broker nor by the insurance company. We only discovered the issue a full year later when our mortgage company contacted us. Being left uninsured without any notice is unacceptable and could have had serious financial consequences. After decades of loyalty, I expected at the very least basic communication and oversight. Unfortunately, this experience has completely eroded our trust. I would strongly advise others to closely monitor their own policies if working with this broker, as we received no support or notification when it mattered most.
