Nigel and Kiki are as legit as they come! I have been using Dogzilla and Cat Cong for about 2 years…read morenow. The team leaves the most detailed daily visit updates AND takes the cutest pictures of my cat (always Instagram worthy!). My cat, Tinky, has FIV and I've left her in their care during a few rough patches with her health. They go above and beyond in so many ways. I've never once doubted their judgement and when she was constipated I really felt like they wanted her to poop JUST as much as I did :) They even brought her some pumpkin treats to help the process along! I usually leave Tinky in their care around the holidays and her birthday happens to be December 26th. Every year I tear up at the video they send of them singing Happy Birthday to my precious daughter when I'm unable to be there. I trust Dogzilla and Cat Cong completely and would recommend them to every cat/dog owner who is looking for a trustworthy, communicative, and professional sitter. They truly are the best of the best!

We just got back from a 6 day road-trip and just want to give a shout-out to Dogzilla and Cat Cong…read more We did a lot of research on pet sitting services that are available in the Bushwick area and finally settled on Dogzilla and Cat Cong. So glad we did! I was worried initially about leaving our 2 kitties who have been with us 24/7 since the start of the year. Nigel was able to get them comfortable and purring on the first visit. He kept them to their routine, gave them plenty of play-time and attention. They were pampered and happy. He is a gem. After each visit, we received a detailed report and wonderful pictures. Also, his website is a dream to use. Very professional and wonderful service. Also very well priced for what you get. Highly, highly recommend!

Our review of mutt in Jeff ! BE WARNED ! We recently dropped…read moreour dog for a 7 day stay at there facilities. We dropped a healthy dog with a list of her routine along with her food and snacks . 5 days through her stay we received a call that she had diarrhea and they were giving her rice . We agreed it was possibly separation stress . Here is where things went way wrong the diarrhea worsened . Upon picking her up she was emaciated and dirty along with sores on her leg and paws with worsening diarrhea. There explanation was she wouldn't let them near her to clean her up. We took her home and noticed her symptoms were worsening we took her to the animal hospital very next morning she was ultimately treated with with medications and several rounds of IV solution to reverse her severe dehydration. She was diagnosed with giardia which is a parasite that can be found in kennel water as per the Veterinarian. When Mutt in Jeff was contacted to explain the findings they denied that it came from their facility and said wasn't possible. Their denial is what makes things worse . After a $240 boarding bill which we paid without a problem. We incurred $600 in vet bill. Be warned about bringing your pet their . There pet care is poor at best to let this happen! Be warned!

Unlike Google, where Christine also posted her malicious review, Yelp did not print the response from the shelter's owner, right after the review. We decided to copy and post it below (as it appears on Google, anyone in doubt look it up}: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Response from the owner (of Sullivan County SPCA} a month ago: "There is definitely a miscommunication here as our kittens come completely vetted spayed, or neutered, vaccinated, tested for fiv/leuk and dewormed and they are $150. NEVER more than that. It is the pups that are $475. Please call me as there is something wrong with this 845-796-3120." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christine O,,you are definitely completely inaccurate in your accusations of Sullivan County SPCA charging $500 as adoption fees for a kitten. The shame of it is that some people may have read your review and didn't check out the truth of it. Just use your head...if every other shelter in New York State is charging approximately $150. for adopting out kittens...WHY would Sullivan County charge four times as much? Next time you write a review please take some time to confirm what you are saying rather than damage the reputation of a fine organization

A few years back the Spca didn't…read morehave a very good reputation, but it is turned around and the employees and the board have really made this place a total success! Since January 20 23, they've taken in close to 400 local dogs that were either lost or needed placement into new homes due to circumstances beyond their control. The local SPCA is not associated with the ASPCA, but they are a small nonprofit that depends on funding from communities to keep the doors open and keep the employees paid to continue rescuing and saving and placing puppies and dogs into their forever homes.. the new board and all of the employees give a warm welcome to people coming in and take care of all the animals that are in the shelter as if they were their own. It's a beautiful facility and they do different charity events to help. Keep those doors open. The dogs that I adopted are the most perfect pups in the whole wide world and I may be a little bit biased because I love them so much. When my cat died, the Spca helped me with getting him cremated and we're so caring which really warmed my heart.
