It's located in Lower Manhattan within the iconic Oculus structure. The Oculus functions as a transit hub that connects PATH trains and 12 NYC Subway lines. Its architecture looks like it has wings and a beautifully integrated light filled space! Some of the stores and restaurants you'll see inside the Oculus include some of the following Dior Uniqlo Banana Republic Apple Bose Eataly NYC Downtown Blue Bottle Coffee and so much more! There are a few different entrances from which you can enter the Westfield World Trade Center. Once you enter the Oculus, you can take an escalate ride down. The mall inside is just stunning! It's a great place to shop and eat at! I'd recommend visiting this place at least once if you're in Lower Manhattan!

It has a nice mix of luxury brands along with more affordable options. I especially like the Macy's here, it's never crowded, as well as Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel. They also recently added little words project (love this store and its mission to spread kindness ). We also came for their Christmas Santa photos, and it was a really nice experience meeting Santa with the kids. The only downside is that I wish they had a food court. It would definitely make the shopping experience easier, especially when you're there with kids and want to grab a quick bite. Overall, I like coming here.

Mitsuwa Marketplace is a huge complex with a variety of Japanese vendors offering food,…read moremerchandise, and a large grocery market. There's also a sizable food court where you can grab a variety of Japanese dishes and sit at communal tables to eat. When I visited, the grocery store had food samplings throughout, which made browsing even more fun. The produce and seafood sections had some particularly unique offerings you don't normally see in typical supermarkets. There are also aisles for beer, sake, wine, and other alcohol. Self-checkout was easy, and while the place can get insanely busy overall, it's a really fun place to explore if you visit during off-peak times.

Parking is never scarce, but it still depends on what days/times you go. Not a big fan of their food court, but there is an adjacent movie theater.

I rarely went home invoking a strong enthusiastic response to come back to eat something again. Their strong suite was location, space, and variety. What I loved most--besides having a reliable bathroom in Midtown--was what it became for the people around it. It was a place where office workers could decompress after work, grab a beer with coworkers, or catch up with friends they hadn't seen in a while. There was something refreshing about the atmosphere. People seemed relaxed and unguarded, shedding the polished professional persona they'd worn all day. It felt like watching the city exhale for a little while. And another thing I appreciated was their attempt to represent different nationalities under one roof. The more common items performed the worse and that's probably when you come to a space dedicated to hawker style cuisine, you expect to try some of their more novel stuff like Coffee Pork Fried Rice (from a stall that specialized in fried rice) or Noodles in Bechamel. I also frequently enjoyed their only drinks provider for the best Yuen Yang I've ever had. The method for making them seems theatrical at first but when you've had one that wasn't properly aerated, you truly taste the chalky bitter tannins. It was a good thing there was an experience worker there (possibly the owner). Who you got to make your drink was hit or miss because at varying times, my gf would be lucky enough to run into the one guy who could do it with oatmilk (she's lactose intolerant). It's sad to see this place go and there'll be many times ahead of us where we point out that that's where the Urban Hawker used to be.

This stall makes their own chili sambal and it's sooo shrimpy, punchy and complex. It added a lot to the dish, with the curry chicken + slight hint of coconut flavors and the meaty paste on top of the rice. everything works pretty well together here - just the egg was a bit overcooked and the chicken was also just slight overdone. Never would I have thought that I would be standing right in the middle of the second biggest mall…read morein the U.S. But there I was on Mother's Day. Perhaps it's because of the sheer size of the mall or perhaps people were busy celebrating Mother's Day elsewhere, but it wasn't as busy or crowded as I would've expected. Although the food court wasn't packed, the wait for Jollibee was insane (probably a 25-35 minute wait). It was worth it though, I hope more malls in the U.S. have Jollibee. After eating, I explored the mall a bit. American Dream has a NHL-reuglate size ice skating rink (entrance is on the first floor, where you can also get the tickets). But what's wilder is the ski and snowboard resort - the first indoor snow resort in North America. I didn't go in but I could feel the chilliness from the condensation on the windows. There's also an NJ Hall of Fame, laser tag, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and Nickelodeon Universe inside. You can enter Nickelodeon Universe (no tickets needed) but you need to buy points to go on the rides. Even if you don't go on the rides, there are plenty of photo ops. I saw Spongebob and Squiward taking photos on a stage. Other cool things about American Dream: A ferris wheel called American Dream that allows you to see the NYC skyline, a Toys "R" Us train that goes around on one floor, and HMart. There is a fancier part of American Dream with high-end stores, too. I didn't come here for shopping though. Plenty of spots in the parking garage and it's $6 for each vehicle, though the first 15 minutes are free.

Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.

This has always been one of my preferred locations, both personally and professionally, which makes this experience especially disappointing. On this occasion, I was visiting as part of my work responsibilities. The individuals I support are on limited incomes and cannot afford meals from establishments such as yours, so they bring their own lunches while staff members purchase food and beverages from your business. A manager approached us and informed us that outside food was not permitted, even though purchases had been made. We were then asked to leave and eat outside in the hot weather. I understand that businesses have policies regarding outside food, and I respect the need to enforce them. However, I believe this situation could have been handled with greater compassion and understanding, given that the group consisted of individuals with disabilities who rely on packed lunches due to financial limitations. As someone who has consistently supported your establishment, I was disappointed by the lack of flexibility and empathy shown. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my business or the individuals I support to your establishment. I hope this feedback encourages your management team to consider a more accommodating approach when serving members of the disability community in the future.
