We discovered my son had a case of lice this afternoon. This is our second experience with lice. Our first time (1 1/2 years ago) was very challenging and stressful. My son has medium-length curly dark blonde hair and the eggs were nearly impossible to find! It took multiple days (and lots of tears) to eradicate them. I drop my daughter off to camp and head on the 95 to work, to get a call not 20 minutes later that my daughter has lice and must be picked up immediately. I called out to work went and picked her up and just sat there not sure of what to do I called my sister who gave me the number to lice troopers and headed straight there. I must say I have not one complaint! The lady that took care of my daughter Jenny was a gem! Making sure my daughter was comfortable. Working thoroughly and efficiently on my daughters hair. We recently went to the Lice Troopers facility in Bay Harbor. My daughter contracted lice at school and I had to pick her up from school early. Our school recommended Lice Troopers and we were lucky to find a lice removal facility in North Miami. We had such a good experience here. This was our first time with removal and they made it super easy. The technician was very gentle with my daughter and they were super thorough. They have a good system in place of rechecking after the first round of thorough combing. I would totally recommend this facility to anyone who gets that dreaded call from school! Guy took a good, long time getting rid of a bad lice infection in my kid's thick hair. Fair price. Charged us the same as my kid's BFF with straight hair (while another company specifically charges more for African-American hair). Very good about telling the kid all the things to avoid in a voice that's less scolding than mine. Found parking just after rush hour on a weekday. Oh, and with the treatment and the recheck, they were patient when we ran on Miami time (15-20 minutes late). Bring a book, something to entertain yourself or a pillow for the initial treatment. Lice at 20, thank God for Lice Troopers I managed to dodge the lice-ridden bullet for 20 years of my life and then one fine day I found one of them crawling on my hand. I wasn't sure of what they were and I did a little digging of my own to find out that they were indeed lice. Ifound out @ lice trooperss from my sister who used them. They went to her home and got rid of the lice on all her children. I decided, to no avail , to attemp to do it myself. It took me 3 hours (and a lot of tears) to try to comb out the little suckers! Finally I went into the office and had Ari take care of the problem. I received the best treatment and the owner worked with my budget so it wouldn't be too costly.
