Excellent service! Was really happy with the professionalism and the HVAC tuneup. Bryan offered us other solutions for our water conditioning and hard water options. This company handles everything from electric, HVAC, and plumbing. Very difficult to find Quality and affordable work done to your home.

Update : 6/12/2025 It's been two weeks, and I still haven't received a follow-up call from a manager regarding the pricing issue on the drain valve. I've received a few sales calls from Lickety Split offering other services, and each time, I've asked them to pass along my concerns about the previous job. Despite that, I've yet to hear back about any resolution or explanation for being charged $337 for a part that typically costs around $35. Appointment: 5/28/2025 I recently scheduled an appointment with Lickety Split using a $69 coupon I received in the mail for a water heater draining. Scheduling was super easy, and I was impressed by how prompt they were in returning any missed calls -- excellent customer service on that front. The sweet part of this experience was definitely the technicians, Max and Jordan. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and detailed in their work. They explained everything clearly and made the process smooth. They absolutely deserve 5 stars for their service -- it's rare to find technicians who are that personable and thorough. Now for the bitter part -- the pricing. My water heater is old and hadn't been flushed in a long time, so due to sediment buildup, they recommended replacing the drain valve. I was quoted $337 for the replacement. Not knowing the actual price of the part at the time, I agreed. The job itself took about 5 minutes. Afterward, I looked up the cost of the valve and found it retails for around $34.69 -- meaning the markup on the part alone was nearly 10x. I ended up paying a total of $406 for the water heater draining, which came as a surprise considering the $69 starting point. When I called to understand the pricing, I was told it was an "all-inclusive" rate covering same-day service and part sourcing. However, since the technicians were already on-site and mid-job, that explanation felt a bit stretched. To be clear, this isn't a retaliatory review -- I believe in paying fairly for quality service -- but this kind of pricing structure doesn't feel fair. Lickety Split positions itself as a one-stop shop for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. As a homeowner who was hoping to build a long-term relationship for all my home service needs, this experience has left me second-guessing that plan.

It was Sunday and the service member came out a couple hours after our call. Prior to them arriving, JEA had shown up and been extremely helpful to me, showing me where the main line was, turning it off and ensuring it wasn't our irrigation that was leaking. When the Lickety Split man arrived, he performed no inspection, did not test anything, and simply told me we would need to take out a major loan because a full re-pipe was needed. Mind you this is an outdoor leak and he did not even turn on the main line to try to see if there was any feasibility of fixing it. Generic sales scare tactic taking advantage of someone in crisis. And let me tell you as someone who knows nothing about plumbing i did not appreciate his immediate push to get a loan, when he did not offer to do any investigative work. He proceeded to spend 3 hours at our home, we asked him to perform an inspection as that is what we were being charged for but he said he did not have tools and complained he would have to drive to the other side of town to get them. The audacity that they had someone even come out without any tools. In the end, i realized they were absolutely wasting time and not helping to resolve anything. It was incredible stressful so we asked them to leave and called another plumbing company that came by and helped resolve our issue. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The only reason for two stars is because at least they had the dignity to refund us for the "leak detection" they didn't have equipment to perform.

I didn't have a great experience to put it mildly. Long story short, I paid $350 to have a laundry…read moreroom drain unclogged only to be told that I need to repipe my entire house and that would cost $16,000 to fix. To break it down I paid a $99 service fee upfront, and then $249 after the technician's assessment/inspection to fix the issue. He told me that his "hydrojet" solution was sure to work. After I paid to fix my problem the technician"realized" that his expert opinion on how to repair the issue was not correct and now they need to replace every waste pipe under my house for $16,000. He kept trying to upsell me on their financing option. I declined. I'm $350 poorer and my original issue still wasn't fixed. In my opinion, this was a tactic to upsell me into paying for an unnecessarily expensive job instead of fixing the small job that I paid them for. If I wanted to throw away $350, I would have stuffed it down my clogged drain. Hindsight is 20/20. I saw red flags from the beginning that I brushed off as me being overly critical. Trust your gut! It's my opinion that if you are in need of plumbing work, get quotes from multiple companies, companies other than this one (and check Yelp reviews first).

They came the next day and repaired the damaged pipes and replaced two sub meters. The plumber they sent had never seen sub meters. He said I'd need to call JEA about them. I explained that they were mine and that I'd had them installed years prior. He had no clue where to get them. He went back to his truck after looking over the situation and I came back inside and called a plumbing supply company five minutes from my home that stated they carried them. I went out to his truck and told him where he could get the sub meters and he was sitting there clipping his nails! After a while he left and got the necessary supplies for the job and came back and made the necessary repairs. According the the owner of the company the sub meters cost $237.00 each totaling $474.00 there was four feet of PVC pipe replaced and the charge for the repair was $2,186.91. The repair took a total of three house counting the time the repair person sat in my driveway clipping his nails and doing whatever else he was doing but surely was not working on my repair. He didn't even wrap the piped with insulation after he replaced the broken pipes and meters. He told me I'd need to do that! Their hourly fee for this job works out to approximately $550.00 per hour! In my opinion that's price gouging. I spoke with Spencer, the owner of the company who told me they don't work "buy the hour" they price by the job and reminded me of overhead costs etc. He said he'd look over the paperwork for the job and see what he could do. After numerous attempts to contact him he finally offered me a $200.00 refund and said he'd mail it to me. After countless attempts to get the refund I finally drove to their "office" and in person I requested they write me a check. I waited about twenty minutes and got the $200.00 refund. I will NEVER call this company again!
