We chose to sit on the sunny patio in comfy albeit spartan chairs . There were a few other diners enjoying the weather. We had the endless mimosas and he constantly refilled ours. The mimosas tasted good and did the job. The food was great as usual. My omelet was flavorful and the bread is to die for. French toast was nice and sweet while the omelette was a nice savory and bright bite. The salad was a light and refreshing addition to the omelette and the bread accompaniment was a surprising mouthful of flavor, grilled with seasoned oil. Came in on a Monday, mid afternoon. No wait, and they had a lunch deal ($14 lunches). And AC :) We got the calamari - which was pretty good! Flavorful batter, great aioli. The chicken burger was pretty good too! Zucchini fries were a little sad - not much in volume, but same batter. Everything came out piping hot so we got the vibes that food was made fresh. Bathroom was super hot though. No cold water in there, and it felt like the heater was on. We got the bottomless mimosas, which are STRONG lol! I got the Sicilian Omelette which was very good and a side of potatoes. I do think that they were both very oily, but besides that I really enjoyed the meal. My friend got the blueberry pancakes which were delicious! Since I previously had a nice experience at Lido for after-work cocktails, I wanted to check what Lido would offer in terms of food. This interest brought us to Lido for an easy brunch. The beginning of our visit was a bit rocky. Of course, I understand that the restaurant was a bit slammed during our visit. It appeared that there were 1-2 waiters for the busy brunch so the service was a bit of a struggle. I want to say that it took about 15 minutes to flag someone down to place our order. This was not one of this instances where you are so hungry that one minute is like 3 hours. There were a couple of parties that arrived after us, ordered and received their food before we had a chance to order. Fortunately for us, the food was worth the wait. I went went the short rib hash, and it was just what the doctor ordered. First, the serving size was pretty large, which is great when you are starving for a delicious brunch. Also, the food was absolutely delicious. The meat from the ribs was very succulent and perfectly seasoned. Also, I gotta say that many of the plates passing our table en route to other diners looked pretty fabulous. It looks like Lido, while Italian based, has a little something for everyone. We also went with the bottomless mimosa option for an additional $16. Unfortunately, it took some time to get refills. However, getting refills was a bit easier once other customers were finishing their meals and leaving the restaurant. Also, I did have to request my cappuccino three times before receiving it. I think we just happened to visit when the restaurant was super slammed (we arrived around 12:15 on a Sunday). I noticed that one of the owners (I assume) was serving drinks and a member of the kitchen staff was confirming orders with the hostesses and waiter. I will say that the service was three stars, but the food was four stars. If you plan to come for brunch, it highly recommended that you make a reservation especially if you want a preference of seating. *I'm not a fan of eating outdoors when it's super hot so we were lucky to get a table inside as walk-ins.* Or drop by after the brunch rush. During our visit, it looked like things started to calm down around 1-1:30 pm. As of June '21, you will have about 1.5hrs and 1 hr to eat at a table or the bar, respectively. read more

I ordered the fresh pappardelle with roasted cherry tomatoes and sage walnut pesto. This is a great vegetarian option and is packed with the flavors of basil and walnut. The texture of the pappardelle was great for the most part, although a few pieces were slightly stuck to other pieces and not cooked the full way through. There was a generous amount of sauce and tomatoes, and I enjoyed my meal. For drinks, I ordered the Double P mocktail and really enjoyed the ginger-y flavor. Definitely don't waste your time going there for the brunch or the bottom mimosas. Everything that we ordered they ran out, as in the French toast and the biscuits that were on the menu. At least they had everything we needed, wanted, as well as Bottomless, mimosas as well... the only thing good about this place is that they have their mimosas with the champagne Carva. For dinner we started off with prosciutto crostini and tomato, mozzarella and caprese napoleon topped with pesto and served with an arugula salad. For entree pastas we loved the truffle gnocchi with guanciale garnished with sage, veal meatballs and spaghetti and four-cheese sacchetti with mushrooms and peas. Ending strong on dessert, we tucked into a rich chocolate lava cake with a scoop of salted caramel gelato on the side. Lido is a great, affordable place to enjoy quality Italian fare and friendly service. I stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, and hadn't had pancakes for a long time (almost a year!) so decided to treat myself. The only good thing to come from Covid has been the increase of outdoor dining spaces. I really liked this little patio area and being able to eat out under the sun. I have a pretty high standard for pancakes, and these were not the best, but they were definitely a good stack. The only weird thing is that they have a door for the staff to use, and a door for customers to use, and I was so confused about which door to enter (both doors are right next to each other, and the customer door was closed so I missed it) a waiter snapped at me for trying to go in the wrong door. I've come here for brunch and dinner. Both meals were barely edible. When we came for brunch the toast was hard as a brick, the eggs were bland and overall it wasn't appetizing. I tried dinner recently and got the octopus (I could barely eat 1 bite, we sent it back because it was so bad). The Caesar salad was actually decent and then we had a fish special. Cute and delicious brunch place in Harlem that has been very accommodating for large groups. I've been here twice for bottomless brunch and each time has been wonderful. Their portions are kind of small but their food is really tasty and the bottomless mimosas leave you drunk for the whole day. They keep pouring without you asking which is the best. Also, their decor is so aesthetically pleasing! One of the outdoor seating areas which my group of 18 was able to reserve for our entire party had a bunch of fake cherry blossoms and fairy lights which was so cute.
