Location it's in an old unassuming building off of classen. When you walk in .. it's what you'd expect from an older building but it appears clean. I ordered my food to go and it didn't take long. Honestly you have to have an acquired taste for this food.... I do not. I'm upset I didn't just go to Chick fil a! I wanted something hot and flavorful and it was pretty bland. I put every kinda sauce on it to give it flavor and that was a bust. Money wasted, lesson learned. Again the hospitality was nice but the food bland .

This place is really delicious! Nice clean environment with great service as well. This is our favorite Chinese restaurant!!

Updated review where I got to sit at Former Chief Justice Marian Opala's "Table" and go through "OCU Law: A History" (by Professor Von Russell Creel and Bob Burke). Their coffee ice cream and grass jelly drink are awesome and highly recommended! Excellent service and atmosphere as well (as always)!

The weather changed and went from sunny to rainy. What better than some hot & sour soup... Well - turns out anything would have been better than the soup we received from Lido. Ordered take out and the large soup wasn't large. Got home and it wasn't sour but definitely hot. Soup based tasted like they added ketchup... Then about to the bottom of the bowl we found a hard foreign object which nearly broke a tooth. Still cannot say what it was but it wasn't expected and not good The lemon grass chicken was okay - really nothing to write home about nor worth the time I spent writing this last sentence. That said; extremely disappointed and doubtful to try again!!

I haven't been Lido's in quite a while, and decided to pick up some takeout for myself self and 2 coworkers. Ordering from the lunch special and all lunch specials are served with your choice of; hot and sour soup or drop soup, egg roll, your choice of steamed or fried rice. I ordered sesame beef, Kung Pao chicken and Sweet & Sour chicken. We all 3 agreed that lunches were delicious the food for being takeout was actually steaming hot.

It's been about a year since the last review and I just had to leave another quick reminder to everyone that Lido is hands down the best Asian restaurant in Oklahoma. Consistency in food quality, consistency in service, it's just so nice to come to a place year after year knowing exactly what you're going to get literally and metaphorically. If you like great food and great service, come here and you'll see what the hype is about.

I love this hidden gem of a place. It's tucked away in the heart of the Asian district and one would easily miss it driving by. However, it's a place full of yummy food and different flavors. I would say Lido is a mixed of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines. I especially love their Korean beef with red rice and broccoli. They have the best hot and sour soup in Oklahoma City in my opinion. I have tried their combination stirred fry egg noodles and it's pretty delicious. I always order the same things listed above when I'm here so I can't be a good judge for the other entrees. The service is always great and the staffs are so friendly! They have recently been purchased by new owners as their old owners retired. I think the quality is still the same. They are a little bit pricier than other Vietnamese/Chinese restaurants. Try for yourself!

Decided to have an early dinner before dancing so we were the only ones here for awhile but still enjoyed the time and food. Our waitress was very helpful and gave us several suggestions on what is popular. I ended up getting a Vermicelli Bowl. It needed some extra flavor from the condiments on the table and once I was done, it was perfection. Definitely would eat here again.

Must try: Pho Dac Biet, Spring Rolls, and Ca Phe Sua Da!…read more Why: I was craving Pho for a few weeks and this place hit the spot! Pho beef broth was light and flavorful. Tons of noodles, beef, and veggies. Personally I love when there's a lot of green onions, onions, basil, and bean sprouts. Also, I love when there's tendon and trip in Pho for added flavor and texture. Shrimp & Pork Spring Rolls with peanut sauce was a good appetizer. I washed it down with a strong Ca Phe Sua Da. Notes: I was staying in downtown area and got to the restaurant easily on a Lime e-scooter. Spacious and clean restaurant with tons of tables for small and large groups. I was welcomed immediately and the staff were friendly. I even got to practice my Vietnamese and have a short convo about the community. The food came out within minutes after I put in my order. Super fast, super tasty, and super satisfying meal!

Firstly, as stated in the previous line, this establishment is cash only. We didn't know that going in so it caused quite the hiccup when trying to pay. The employees were very nice and patient about it but it was still kind of embarrassing. There's an ATM available inside as well. Now onto the dining experience. PLH was very busy when we arrived. That did not stop them from seating us right away at a clean and stocked table. However, the ordering process did feel slightly rushed because of the volume of customers. They had a beautiful interior though with low music playing. The tables are all stocked with soy sauce, sriracha, hoisin, salt, pepper, and fish sauce. We had to request chili oil, which they happily obliged. The chili oil alone was a 10/10. Spicy, crunchy, well balanced. We started off with spring rolls (if you don't specify which ones they will automatically bring out the shrimp and pork ones) which came with a nice garlicky peanut sauce. The shrimp tasted fresh and the pork added a nice slight saltiness and texture. The noodles were cooked well and the veg was fresh and tightly wrapped even when dipped & bit. We both ordered the Pho Chin (lean brisket) one large and one small. Both portions were consistent with their descriptions. With the large I got more meat, broth AND noodles. I ended up taking half of mine home while my spouse finished theirs and felt comfortable. The broth was clear and delicious. I was worried that the broth would be sweet since that's been a common theme in OK, but that was not the case. Deliciously savory and balanced with spices. My only note would be that I would've liked two separate plates of side veg (jalapeños, lime, basil, bean sprouts) since we both enjoy these additions to our soups. Overall a good experience for the food alone. For the fact that we weren't told it was cash only from the start, we had to pay for water bottles instead of being offered cups, and the wait time for the check; this was not a GREAT experience. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!
