Mediocre at best. My husband said he thinks it's the worst Chinese food he's ever had and offered to give me money back for what we spent. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken combo, shrimp and broccoli, and shrimp fried rice. I couldn't eat more than a few bites. My husband said the best part of his meal was the apple juice from home. It was seriously a waste of money and was like flushing money down the toilet.

We decided to try out a different Chinese takeout place than our usual. This place is conveniently located by a large Asian super market which was nice to check out while we were in the area. The restaurant was fairly small (adequate for a takeout place) and very clean. The employees were very friendly and eager to help. We ordered General Tso's chicken, a shrimp and chicken combo and an order of Crab Rangoon. My favorite part was true Crab Rangoon because it was perfect. Not too sweet (most places around here make it really sweet for some reason) and I thought the unique shape (think folded paper football) was funny and different. My chicken was so-so and nothing to brag about. I'd probably try something else next time. The shrimp was good though but the vegetables seemed frozen not fresh. Overall a good meal but with a few tweaks it would've been a lot more satisfying.

This place is just ok. The fried rice was ok but it tasted over fried and old. I asked the owner if the chicken In the king pao chicken was cut small and he said yes. He pointed to a picture of another dish where the chicken was diced small. When I got the dish it looked nothing like it and much bigger. I have this odd relationship with kung pao. I usually love it if it's made with small diced chicken. Some places do it, others don't. It tasted too fried and overly glazed. It was meh. The egg role was basically cabbage covered with egg roll wrapper. FYI: They take only cash if you purchase less than $10.

Orange chicken and sweet/sour chicken. Dishes proven to be so safe and simple shouldn't be this mindblowingly amazing. Perfect.

Outstanding Chinese cuisine for OKC, which is hard to come by. The staff is sweet and fast; the food doesn't take a single dip in quality even with how rapid and efficient they are. Succulent entrees and wonderful egg rolls complement only just the tip of the iceberg of their extremely wide variety of choices. Seriously, there's so much to choose from and I've never been let down.

Chef..also multi-tasking on the phone for a takeout order.

I always enjoy coming here. Good food and pleasant experience. Their Kung pao chicken is just right for spiciness.

Didn't like the flavor of the rice. The sesame chicken was good & the pork dumplings were delicious. Customer service was great.

They've got the roast meats, a large Chinese dinner menu, an equally large Vietnamese dinner menu, catering for events, and my favorite: their dimsum menu. For their regular menu, my family and I will frequently order to go and occasionally dine in. We often order off the Chinese menu when we're going family style (flat noodles, salt & pepper squid, egg noodle lo mein, and scallion chicken are some of our favorites), and we will order from the Viet menu for individual portions (we love their egg noodle soups, pho, broken rice platters). One of my favorite dishes is their lotus root summer salad, and I've not found another place that beats that dish here! I've found their service with regular dining in to be hit or miss. Most of the time we get great service but a few times here and there we have a hard time finding our server. Moving on to my favorite part of Golden Phoenix- the dimsum. They serve dimsum primarily on the weekends from opening to 3pm (I think), and they have really brought up the OKC dimsum game with their large and delicious dimsum menu! Their dumplings like the hargow and shiumai are large, filling, and delicious! I particularly love the fried shrimp and chives dumpling and their shrimp egg rolls. The service during dimsum is fantastic because they've got people pushing around carts and carrying plates of food out to you. Once you're ready for dessert, make sure you grab some egg tarts for the table!

I looked at the reviews and everything told me they are as good as they claim, without being "Breaking The Bank Account." The online services are good. Ordered meals for a robust two person dinner for home, because we just wanted to eat at home after a long busy day at work. Nothing fancy, just a comfort meal in bed while watching a Rom-com Movie and enjoying our beautiful dinner. I for one absolutely LOVE Curry Chicken over white rice. The recipe and portions are perfect. So anything you order should be a "Home Run" meal from Grand China! I grew up being able to eat The Original "Jackson Street" San Francisco China Town Center Chinese Food Restaurants. History: San Francisco China Town is the original destination for Millions of Chinese Immigrants who came to America directly from China to work on The Trans-Continental Railroad in the early 19th Century. If you ever watched Bruce Lee's Movies, he shows you a lot about SF China Town's history. Point being, SF China Town set the food quality benchmark ever since they arrived to provide labor for the railroads buildup across America in the early 19th Century. Grand China exceeds that SF China Town Benchmark and you won't be disappointed. Good Day

Normally, as I stated, I only get chicken from a place that gives me chunks of fried or battered chicken. I made the mistake of getting Kung Pao chicken from Grand China. How anyone could stomach this is beyond me. It was horrible. No flavor, no spice. Way too many peanuts and vegetables. I had to leave this review. Luckiky I also got my normal Sezchuan Pork so at least I have something to eat. Never again will I get chicken from here. Honestly, I have no idea how many of you eat chicken from Chinese restaurants. It's disgusting.
