I don't know how such a tiny shop can fill different caps, hats ect on every wall and fixture throughout the store. This lids is located in the Capitola mall and carries all your cap needs. There is barely room to walk in this shop however the employees do a great job getting caps down to you from the wall. For the past month I have been looking for the official San Francisco 49ers draft day hat with no luck, while I was doing some shopping in the mall I decided to stop by here to see if they had it and to my surprise they did! They had a full wall section of them and it made my day because my search was over. I even got a nice deal on the hat since I am a rewards member. The employee offered assistance, but I said no thanks since I already knew what I was looking for. Overall, if you need a hat to represent your favorite team or beanie ect, get it here. read more

Horrible Customer Service !! Went into the store and the associate was sitting on the counter watching something on his phone asked him if everything that was out in a certain section was all that he had available his response was "I think so" moved over to a different section picked up a hat asked him if he had any more in the back he sais "Nope" The particular had that I was looking for was appraised so he had to be bothered to give me a price... I decided to purchase the hat and as I walk up to the counter that he's sitting on I am thoroughly looking at that to make sure it's in good condition and once again he says "I need that" so I hand him the hat he does what he does with it tosses it to the side... Literally toss is it to the side hands me my receipt in my change and then just stands there and stares at me. I said I need a bag!! For god sake it's Father's Day weekend might make a killing in that store with better customer service read more

I've been to this store twice in the past 3 weeks, each time I was greeted by Patrick Kinney with a smile, and with positive energy. He know's his merchandise, and willing to go the extra step to even make sure I got the perfect hat, he even made sure I got the one with the perfect stitching. I went into the store Friday night 2/24/2017 to pick up a hat I ordered and place a custom order. The manager was calling women and customers his "Niggers" in front of me three times before I interrupted him and had to explain to him that I will not tolerate that as a self respecting person of color ! This ignorant person could only repeat over and over that "it wasn't like that". Not sure what it was like but I suggest you do not enter this racist business. Needless to say, I will not be spending any money at this business or the Capitola mall for that matter. I try to support local business and judging by the many empty stores in the Capitola Mall, they need it. WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN!!! i went to this store for some custom lettering on my own cap and was charged $35 for 3 words, 19 varsity style letters, which seemed high but i paid it anyway and ask for a discount on a future purchase...no luck with that. when i picked up my cap the next day i ask the young lady how it turned out and she explained how they had to stop on one of the words, pull out the stiching, and restart but that it turned out great. her idea of great and mine...TOTALLY DIFFERENT...the word that was restiched is twice as big as the other 2 words, there are holes in the hat itself where they pulled out the first attempt. both of the other two words are crooked and on one of the R's the bottom came together so it looked like a B, i used a sharpie to seperate it to actually look like an R. i let the sales woman know that i was dissapointed but wanted to wear the cap at my son's meet that day so i accepted it but really what was i going to do? let them restich everything, no way the hat has enouhgh holes from them already. I had a $40 gift card to spend but even though I liked a hat would not spend it here. I'm not from the area but stopped in to check out their selection because I love hats and had gift card I was dying to use. Walked in to the store with two employees. One seemed like a manager and was talking to the only other customer in the store but not 'helping' him just talking about what bar he would be at. The other employee went directly behind the register as soon as I walked in. Neither bothered to even greet me!!!! I picked out a hat and was struggling to get my size down and no one offered help. So I finally got tired of their bs and walked out. Not even a thanks for stopping in but why would I expect that. I don't know if it's because I'm female or the are just A-holes but they missed out on a sale.
