I was in the market for the Dodgers cap and looked no further than Lids. Things to know, the coupon codes you see for Lids online are not available for in-store purchases. I was told they are two separate companies. I ended up buying a Dodgers cap in store regardless. The employees here were very helpful. I was upsold on getting the brim of my cap bent (different word) for an additional charge of $5. I was told if you do it yourself it can ruin the cap. I was also upsold on a 1 year membership at Lids where you can save 20% on all hats for one year. It was only a few cents more with the discount added on to the purchase price. It was a win-win! You can always use your Lids membership at the Dodgers Clubhouse as well. read more

Citadel Outlet: I've been a Lids supporter for years. I've spent lots of money on many hats & apparel for a long time. The customer service or the lack of it was absolutely unprofessional and 10 miles beneath pathetic. Three Latinas working and not one brain among them! Maybe it was the Spanish they were conversing in, or maybe they were just 3 Retards! Regardless, Lids needs to do a better job with hiring their employees. At the end, I took my business elsewhere and the $375 that I would have spent at Lids, I bought my items somewhere else. Thank you Lids, you just lost a longtime and faithful customer. Yo yo yo what's going on beautiful and sexy people? Went here again yesterday on 1-4-20 and here are the highlights. 1. Since this Lids is at a outlet they have more sale and special than the regular Lids and here is what I discovered they have hats for $20 and $25 as well as buy one and get one 50% off. Now that the holidays are over. They don't have the 2 hats for $40 special. I love that special. 2. Besides looking at their specials. I went during Christmas Eve day and some of the employees were rude. I asked for prices about the baseball cards and one Hispanic kid barely acknowledged me and said "it's about 20 bucks". Instead of really checking the price. Another employee was telling people at the door that it was closed already when it was not time yet. One of the girls had braids on with a dodgers jacket on. All while they were laughing about it. How do y'all run a business like this ?!! I wanted to go back real soon but I remembered this terrible experience! Place is overpriced. If you think you can save money here because it's in the outlets you'll be surprised. They charge 2X+ as much the same stuff compared to Amazon + outlet tax. They charge $32 for a $15 hat and they didn't even follow their own price posted, nor the sale sign outside the window. Stop price gouging! read more

Okay so I have come here many times because I love owning hats. This place has a few good deals but the service is exactly that you expect from a retail store. There is usually about 5 customers and only 2 workers so they try and offer help but you can only stretch two people so far. I have come here many times and their service and locations is on point so no complaints. I did remove a star because their deals are the same as the mall and I expect bargains at an outlet. read more

I received a lot of helped, I was the annoying customer having the associate bring down a ton of hats.. he didn't make a face or was rude at all . My son is in the Autism Spectrum so for a 6 year old he walks and sits around a lot and does some random things... they weren't bothered or rude at all. The systems were down on my initial visit. The manager at the time took my transaction with the old school tool that takes a carbon copy of your card. The crew was very helpful and were a friendly bunch. I appreciated all of the help. They have a large hat selection to choose from. They have the dodgers spring training hats. We were not greeted or even aknowledge when we entered or even when we were looking around. The 2 people that were there at the moment, one being Joshua, were rude, I had ny rewards card which they have always taken at the same store and they just starred at me. They couldn't explain things with patience, instead they made it seem like they were bothered. We come here so often and believe me due to this experience I am not welcome to come back. They didn't even say thank you at the end or good night or anything, no I am not stupid, I don't work in your store so No I don't clearly know how your apparent savings work, and that is why you as a worker should have the patience to explain. Went in today to look for something cheap to work out in. I was greeted by the workers there. there was like 5 of them in one small store. I looked around and was helped by a girl with a grey nike hat. there was a sweet sale for 50% off hats. I finally found one dodger hat I liked and was rung up by the Asian employee. I think his name was Robert. He was super polite and rung me up quickly. They also do embroidery here. I would never need to but its good to know. Thanks guys. read more
