While there, I couldn't pass up on the bakery and got 2 cheesecake on a stick and a box of in-house made peanut brittle. I am a woman who is going through a divorce and was having a terrible day and was just trying to get by a older cashier idk her name gave me so much attitude that I almost cussed her out. Apparently this isn't the only time she has done this. I don't know what her problem is but her customer service is lacking. I work with the public as a massage therapist and she needs to learn how to work with everyone else. Not take her bad day out on her customers. Do better! read more

Bought $250 Best buy gift cards June 2025 called Best buy customer service to verify balance they said there was no money loaded on the gift cards. I spoke to Yokes store manager he told me he can't help me. I reported the problem to Police and the Washington State Attorney General Office. I bought the gift cards as gifts for my two autistic children for a successful school year I paid them money for gift cards with zero balance. Looking for Legal help now. read more

I love this store! I think Yoke's has the best produce & reasonable prices. Their butcher will make custom cuts of beef & is always helpful. Their cafe is especially delicious with fresh food, & the burgers are around $8 with a side included. On Fridays they have clam chowder & it was great. read more

A trusted Yelp friend reviewed the one on N Foothills, with good intel on their QSR hot deli. I, too, did not know some Yoke's had these, as ours in Cheney--and one close to us in Latah--do not. If you like a great value and decent griddle food, you need to find the ones that do. What a score! I did their Weds special Cheese Steak with a side (cup of Chili), and for $6.49 all one can say is whoa. Son went with a Bacon Cheeseburger w/Potato Logs for $8.99, and c'mon, where are you gonna find a deal like that anywhere else in the metro? Real friendly crew taking care of both the griddle and regular deli customers. Impressive. Sit with your back to the grocery side, and you'd think you were in a restaurant. I have gotten some great food from this Deli but breakfast was not one of them. I was excited to try this breakfast as it was $5.99 for what seemed like a full breakfast. It came with biscuits and gravy with a sausage patty, bacon and eggs. I was thinking it was going to be fresh made as that is normally what they do with their sandwiches but that was not the case. All of the items were kept in a hot case and the person just scooped it into the dish and it was not appetizing. The biscuits were good but the gravy tasted like paste. It was extremely thick and goopy. It's hard to mess up sausage and bacon those were fine although the sausage was very fatty but still tasted good. The eggs were overcooked, chewy and salty kind of like the personality of the person that helped us. She seemed like she didn't want to be there and that we were bothering her. This store had a fresh selection of everything we needed. Everything was clearly laid out, brightly lit, and organized on the shelves. So after coming up to Spokane, I quickly realized there was no whole foods market. While I am not a ride or die whole foods person, I really like the fresh produce and the cheese selection. This market is the closest thing to it and their products are local and fresh, and range in variety. Walking in you are greeted with a plethora of fresh flowers and their cafe. They have a wide variety of fresh local produce and cheeses. One cheese in particular is the Cougar Cheese from WSU, who produces and distributes their own cheese to local markets. This cheese is awesome. Super flavorful and a welcome accompaniment to any cheese plate, burger or, even homemade mac and cheese. I have tried some of their pie slices and cheesecake and have never been disappointed. It is always fresh and flavorful. The store itself is always clean and the people are super helpful and actually seem to want to help you find something or even suggest something that you wouldn't normally go for, but fits well with what you are looking for. As far as grocery stores this has to be one of my favorites in the PNW. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting or anyone who lives here. They do a great job repping local products and are knowledgeable about their products. It makes shopping simple and easy. read more

This place is pricey, no doubt, especially on vegetables. That said, they have a good selection of fruits and veggies, a moderate-sized bulk section, a great beer/wine section, and an absolutely AWESOME natural foods section. This is one of my go-to places for vegan goodies, such as Daiya cheese pouches. Best yet, they seem to run semi-regular sales, which makes it semi-affordable! The service is really good, too. Once I bought several bags of Daiya cheeses because they were on sale, but after I checked out, I noticed that my receipt did not reflect a discount. I went back to check the display, and sure enough the fine print on the brightly-colored sales tags said they were expired - by a week! Usually stores will take responsibility for the oversight, so I took a photo and went to the customer service desk to explain the situation. I told the super friendly manager that I still wanted the cheese, but maybe at the discounted price since the signs were still up. His response: It was our mistake, so keep the cheese and you get your money back to. Now THAT is service! read more

We ordered a couple of sandwiches trays, a condiment tray along with a vegi tray from the Argonne store for an event we had. The entire order was fresh, with a great presentation. The personnel at the deli were professional and helped us navigate our order. The were top notch. The price point for this order made it a Great value. I shop at the montgomery store in argonne village. Before I leave, I always have to check my receipt because they constantly overcharge me. I like the store and its close to home but after 2 years and over 20 times being overcharged on everything from produce to grocery items, I'm done. read more

Ordered the sandwich special of the day, cheese sandwich with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes. When the sandwich maker started grilling the sandwich I said I don't want mayonnaise and lettuce grilled along with the sandwich. The maker informed me this sandwich is only a grilled cheese sandwich and they don't prepare the sandwiches according to the menu descriptions. Looking for quality groceries and healthy, organic eats? Look no further. I am beyond grateful that Yoke's is a thriving chain in Spokane so that we can eat somewhat healthy when we visit family here. The store layout is a little odd but after a few visits we seem to find our way okay. The produce quality is excellent, I only wish they had a larger selection. People may be unhappy with the prices, but they aren't that bad and the quality is definitely there. Oh the cheese! Yes please! Don't miss the cheese case! They even break up the Cougar cold into a variety pack so you don't have to buy the entire tin. Conveniently it's right next to their small but interesting wine collection. The meat section is passable. We did pass on the deli on our last visit but we aren't big on grocery deli food at most places. Oh and you didn't think I'd leave out the beer did you? Nice selection! We love to try new Washington beers as well as other Northwest favorites. The prices are decent, we never leave here without a bottle or two. Well that's most places... Great little organic non-produce-items section; Can be fun to do a browse once in a while. The seafood is largely expensive and not the best quality. One exception is when it's in season and they get fresh wild salmon; I've had THE best large cuts of wild salmon from this store. I've not seen any other market in town (well, maybe Williams Seafood) offer such large fish. If you've never enjoyed a charcoal-grilled THICK cut of wild sockeye or king salmon with a THICK marbled belly section, you've not had the best wild salmon can offer. Their annual live lobster-fest is also notable, and the only occasion I've ever enjoyed anything bigger than a "chick." Got a great deal on a ~4lb lobster and discovered it really is a myth that bigger lobsters are tougher. We probably ate off that guy for a week (shelled meat and used in various dishes). Typically one should buy a bigger lobster in terms of maximizing meat-to-shell yield. read more

The hot deli sandwiches and burgers are excellent and are reasonably priced. $7 for a sandwich or burger and a side. I think the Reuben is one of the best in town. The grocery store is on par with the more expensive stores in town but you get what you pay for. Produce is always fresh. Good selection. yoke's Deer Park, WA has the worst customer service. the employees are not trained how to lead you to the right aisle, and not Courteous to walk with you to find what you need. if you complain they just ignore you by asking you if you want a bag or not. they are expensive and rude. read more

Was extremely disappointed to find that the employment personality test was prejudice, ableist, and demeaning. If you're "over qualified" or are not likely to be taken advantage of by corporate atmospheres, they will cast aside your application. Which is totally fine. You're obviously too good to work there and they need to hire "lesser" workers that they can exploit. read more

I work right by Yokes so it is a common stop for me and I absolutely love this store! I love their "sweet deals" and all the check out clerks are extremely friendly and always upbeat and there are hardly any long lines. Anytime we have had any issues the customer service has always made things right for us. We will continue to be customers for as long as they're open! read more

What a joke. I went there because of the good review of the deli. Since I needed a couple of grocery items off I went. The grill was closed at 6:15. I Thought the whole idea of having a deli was for people who didn't want to cook. Tell you what, you can't keep it open till 8 just don't open it at all. In fact you can just keep everything closed. Every item marked at the very top of the price structure. Feta cheese should not cost $15.00 a pound. read more

I recently had a visit to yokes market today on argonne and montgomery. I went to deli to purchase two cold deli sandwiches,as i usually do. I used ebt benefits to purchase,but as i went to pay i was rudely told i can not use my ebt card to purchase cold CUSTOM deli sandwich because im "trying to be like subway." To be honet i dont even eat Subways Subs. As far as i know i can and have purchased custom COLD delis multiple times before,and i guess because the deli manager LIZ said she has never seen me before and shes worked at the location for 3 yrs she also stated it was a washington state law that banned people from using EBT to purchase cold CUSTOM deli sandwiches and that it has to be made already in the fridge in order for me to purchase with ebt benefits. She was unprofessional and demanding that i dont use ebt at her deli to purchase a cold sandwich. Made me feel very uncomfortable,and singled out in front of multiple customers. Speaking loud saying YOU CANT USE FOODSTAMPS and her body language was very intimidating. I spoke with her manger JAKE/JOSH..twice he also gave me false information i asked to see policy that states i cant use ebt on cold items from deli he apologized and told me that it was nothing he can do so i asked for his manager. Who came apologized for Jake being unknowlegable and explained to me that it was fine to grab a custom deli sandwich and that i can use my ebt to purchase a CUSTOM cold sandwich. I just feel the deli manager LIZ should not judge people and treat everyone equally. i feel she should not make up her own rules and blame it on washington states laws if she has a problem with someone using ebt to purchase a cold cutom deli sandwich she should keep it to herself and be professional about the situation. I feel humiliated and discriminated against because the deli manger basically refused service to me due to me using ebt,and of course neither her or her manager apologized about the inconvience and drama that had me standing at The Yokes Deli dept as i was basically waiting for approval to use my ebt for 30+ minutes. Clearly Liz was being judgemental and she had horrible customer service. And i will never go to "HER DELI" when shes there. read more

This is the store I shop at typically. It has a decent organic area and OK organic produce section. The only problem I currently have is the last 3 or so years of buying meat with chunks of the packaging peppered on the meat. I know there are times you can find packages with barely any but I have found them just covered in the black plastic. I no longer buy meat from there. The prices are pretty good and have almost everything I need when I go shop. The people are usually very nice and are always helpful. I love that they have added the fresh fruit stand for small children, it can help having a banana in hand for them to deal with grocery shopping. I read more
