This review is regarding the activities center and birthday parties for kids. This would be a horrible venue to have your birthday party unless you don't mind paying $375 for up to 12 children and each additional child would be $20. I had some guests RSVP at last minute and others who canceled. I had a reservation for 20 kids and called to update to 30, but of course some didn't show so I end up with a count of 27 kids. I still got charged an additional 18 children = $360. Be forewarned, you cannot set up for your party until 15 mins before which gives you hardly anytime before guests arrive and even then guests arrive early. The party coordinator Kathy was very rude and abrupt towards my guests. She also rushed me to set up. We only had 2 coordinators for the whole party. Also, you cannot bring in outside food or drinks. You must order from their cafe which is overpriced, limited and not great tasting. The pizzas come out in squares for the kids. Plus I ordered chips and dip and they forgot a side and charged $24.99 for a serving size of 15-20ppl. I was a member here since 2011 and had my daughter's party in 2013...they allowed outside food, the price was like $250 for the party, and you weren't rushed to leave. They squeeze in 3 parties a day. My party was from 1-3pm. You get half the side of the basketball court by the rock climbing wall with option to have a bounce house. We provided our own music because they do not provide any entertainment. We were very rushed throughout the party and they made us leave without a receipt. I WILL never have a party here again. It's a waste of monies and I had high anxiety throughout the party that I could not enjoy the party with my daughter. It's a ripoff and you can get a better value for your monies elsewhere. We had her previous parties at Pump It Up in Randolph and it's well worth it and not overpriced and they provided everything. read more

This place has very good amenities but people who run it are there to rip off your money. Never trust them. I entered to a weight loss program there with a simple goal of losing 10 LBs. They assigned me a professional trainer and a nutritionist and charged me enormously for several months. I spent at least 10 hours a week there for three months. I not only did not loss weight, but also gained weight. I got a much better results on my own. Never trust them. They are there only to take your money. read more

I am mad. Infuriated. Disgusted. This poor lady has the audacity to cross me. Since I am quite young, at the age of 15, they won't let my friend in without her mom signing a ridiculous form I have never heard of. Don't count on lifetime to have your back, they won't. The biggest backstabbers in the industry. The guest service today disgusted me. This lady has curly shorter brown hair, incase you were wondering because she will kick you out to stand in the frigid -12 degree weather. I want a refund! Jess @ Lifetime Spa is the best! So glad she is back locally in my town! At my first time at her new salon here at Lifetime, I was greeted warmly, then Jess spent at least 10 mins discussing with me what I wanted that day with color and belayge (sp?) treatment. She is totally honest with what style, color and 'effects' would look best on shape of face, coloring as well as the seasons. I felt so pampered and am just thrilled I am back with her at this fantastic salon. I used to belong to Lifetime (gym) years ago too and had to stop due to the expense. But glad I can come back and get my hair done, while also using the facilities for the day, should I wish. You can't go wrong with Jess, she is one rare talent, loves what she does and her passion shows!! read more

Buyer beware. I tried to cancel my membership a few years ago, they threatened that if I did and wanted to rejoin I'd have to pay all sorts of extra fees and that I should just put the membership on hold. I did for a LONG time. Then I called in to cancel. But they wouldn't let me. They said I had to mail them a letter. So I mailed them a letter. And 1.5 months later the auto charges stopped. Then 4 months after that I get a letter in the mail saying I owe them for the last few months. Turns out they never canceled my membership! Auto charges stopped only because my credit card had been compromised so I got a new number that I did not give them since I'd canceled by membership! I called in to explain and instead of making good on their mistake, they made me pay for all the months after I sent in the letter or they would not cancel my membership. I asked to speak to a supervisor and they guy on the phone told me he was a supervisor. Convenient, right? So now, supposedly, it's canceled, but I don't trust them at all! If they send another bill I will be contacting a lawyer. DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM. It's a nice place while you're there, but they will not let you get out! read more

I'm a member since the oppening so my comments have something to say about the place. The gym has much to offer and their cleanliness has improved but it is CROWDED and the folks are not so friendly.. Way too many kids around everywhere so careful where you walk. The cafe vent system doesn't work well so the scent of smelly oil or foods carry to the exercise floors. The instructors are excellent but catered to younger folks. No step classes . Too little dance classes and not enough attention give to folks maybe using the weights incorrectly. The price is expensive given all the above. read more

I love the convenience of being able to go to a gym any time during the day. I love all the equipment and the variety of things to do. As much as I love my children, I really don't want them underfoot at the gym. Nevertheless, I do love this gym. read more

Please be aware of unethical business with trainers! A trainer paid herself for a session that never took place. She NEVER contacted me to confirm her "guessing" we had a session. When I finally noticed this error by checking my account on LIFETIMEs account I contacted LIFETIME. The company never responded. I then contacted the trainer who told me I had to communicate with her supervisor. I tried to get some answers as to how the trainer could pay herself for a session that never took place! I asked for a refund. I was then told that my contract states no refunds are done for trainers who are already paid! How convenient for my trainer to pay herself before contacting me! Very unethical! Please just be careful of how they do business! I requested a letter to state this error took place and have yet to receive anything. Just be careful! And yes, I did cancel my membership! read more

Facilities are fine, contract is not. They tout it as a month-to-month, no obligation contract. However, when you go to cancel you'll find yourself greeted by paying for a full extra month. For a facility that charges 120/month to begin with, this is some underhanded business. read more

This gym is bursting at its seams. I have been a member of 5 plus years and will be quitting. Its zumba classes are extremely crowded; and, if it wasn't enough, I was recently harassed there by two women women attending the class. They have interrupted me multiple times during the class asking to move while there was clearly enough space for them. I tried to ignore them and suggested they focus on their moves instead, but the conflict escalated. I have reported to management and fitness supervisor but have not heard from them 5 days later. As far as I see it, they failed to provide a safe environment. Outside of this incident, the showers in the women section are quite dirty. Saunas have dirty wood floors as people often enter wearing their gym clothes and snickers. They do have a couple of excellent classes, but since I had this extremely negative experience, I do not think it will be a pleasure for me to attend this gym. read more

Sure, it's a beautiful facility. But members are paying dearly for that. I have been a member almost since it opened. It is difficult to stop your payments and was just told that if I came in today, Dec 2, my card would be charged again in January. I suppose all gyms/ establishments has this little way to keep your money for another cycle. There were times when I loved going here. But, mostly because of a few, I reiterate a few, nice and friendly trainers. They deserve recognition: Michelle, Wendy, Jill ( she is no longer there ) and Adonis. Other than that, in the years that I have been paying my nearly 400 dollars a month, no one, and there are many, many trainers on the floor, has ever bothered to even nod their head, much less say hello or smile. ( oh and my daughter loves Joseph- and instructor- guess I should mention him.) Anyway, think long and hard before joining. There are much cheaper gyms, unless you want bball courts ( which are usually too crowded anyway) and don't even THINK about the pool in the summer... nightmare-- read more
