Amazing gym overall. Assistant manager was very unprofessional with an issue of us visiting from San Antonio. We didn't have an "elite" membership which I understand but we were just in town for two days and wanted to workout. Understand the issue yet he could have handled it in a much more professional manner. I have never had a bad experience with a worker here until now, unfortunately. I've been an on and off again member for ten years. They only have elite gyms in Houston and none in San Antonio, hoping Lifetime resolves this issue. I always leave happy from this place! Nathan was who helped me throughout the whole membership process. Front desk staff always so happy and ready to answer any questions. Loved the staff at the Life Spa where I had an amazing massage by Vanessa and had my hair styled by Sharonda (super sweet to talk to). The Life Cafe is sooo convenient and great food/smoothies! I am a distance runner who ran for Sam Houston State University and I used their cardio machines a lot. I am thankful for the rollers so I am able to do the recovery part of my workout. I love that they have The Zone which reminds me of having a trainer again like I did in college! They have NormaTech, Chiropractors, Metabolic Testing, Nutrition coaches, etc. (I recommend stopping by for a free tour). The locker rooms shocked me! Beautifully designed locker rooms that has a indoor hot tub, two sauna rooms, showers that include shampoo, conditioner, body wash, shaving cream, the mirrors with sinks that have mouth wash, razors, etc., and an exit to guide you to their big resort like pool! I loved everything here! Membership prices are a bit high in some people's opinion, but I think it is worth it if you use all the opportunities they have here! My 14 month old daughter had a black eye when I picked her up from the kids area and no one could tell me how it happened. The GM checked the camera footage and said that she could have possibly got it because she jumped on my 3 year old son in yoga class. Her eye looks as if she hit a corner. It's been a week since the incident and her eye is still bruised. This injury is not a result of her jumping on my son. They were negligent in not watching my daughter properly. This is unacceptable! I pay a lot of money to attend this gym in the beginning it was amazing, but now there is some times no towels In The locker room or by indoor pool area . A couple times I've picked up my son (1year old)he has had a different injury ( busted lip, scratched on face , black eye ) . I've asked what happened and I've been told by staff "I don't know " . The cafe has charged my cc $20 randomly. I did bring the charge to the attention of the cafe manger and was told they would call to fix it and never did. Let me begin by saying this review is coming from someone who was a guest at this facility: I was overwhelmed at how perfect this place is! It has everything from tiny tot care to spas and everything in between. A friend brought be as a guest and if it wasn't for the lack of time I had in Houston I would have signed up on the spot. This place has two eating joints. With healthy to comfort food choices. A great gym facility with almost everything you could think of. The kids care is phenomenal ( shout out to Amy who was patient and kind.) The pools are amazing! I was telling my friend that I feel like I'm in a resort. The pool also has water slides for the kids that my kids called "thrilling." My only qualm was I felt like the lifeguards were not kind and more on the harsher side. I get it, safety first. For my kids, who were still learning the rules, they had a few too many reminders and I would ask myself could the lifeguards have said it in a gentler way? I guess the lifeguards scared my kids and they followed the rules better in a matter of minutes. It has a great family, and gender separate changing room and showers. I could live here! I think next summer I will take their offer for membership. I want to thank the manager Erin who did not try to pressure me to join and totally let the facility speak for itself. read more

Lifetime Fitness is a beautiful & clean space. It's still new and fresh and your pricey membership pays for it. Poor management. Any requests/issues that need managers approval, well, good luck with that. Referring friends and family is a big joke, because you'll won't get your points as promised, even if all their rules are followed. I have a huge problem with moms brining in their kids and letting them walk around naked in the ladies locker room. The ladies locker room should be set up for ladies only. Kids should be in the family locker room. This is a review on their Life Clinic The gym it self is a good establishment. Do not use their services or go near this clinic. Even if you call to reschedule an appointment they will charge you with a missed appointment for a $50 fee. Also, if you do seek their services. They will charge you for Chiropractic work even if you didn't ask for it. I went in to seek services for a strained muscle, and was charged for Chiropractic work. At no time was it explained to me that I was going to be charged for this. What does Chiropractic work have to do with a strained bicep muscle. They are looking for ways to make money off of you and will use any tactics to obtain extra money. Do yourself a favor and stay far way from these scammers. read more

I booked a birthday party at Baybrook after grand opening without being provided details and was told someone would get in touch with me regarding the party option details and final pricing. No one from Baybrook knew party details the night we booked, but Will the 'birthday guru' (very nice guy) from Cypress location was present and was able to give me the basic package price and assured me Baybrook would figure it out and make sure their first booked party was a success. I was contacted by Nancy Perez about 10 days later, but she still didn't have the necessary information to finalize our party and didn't get back to me until yesterday, after several follow up calls (daily), email and even toured the children's center last Friday with her to get a better understanding of what each package included, party flow and setup. Nancy promised to get us the information Saturday. When I called to follow up with her on Saturday she had no information and promised to get it to me on Monday. I told her we wanted a pool party so we got to use the facilities since the other 2 party packages restricted use of the kids academy during the party and she said that was fine that all options were still open and still waiting to receive missing information on pricing for additional children and food options. On Monday after yet again no responses and only 11 days away from party and still not able to send out invitations, we reach out to Cypress location and obtain the information directly since going through Nancy had not resolved any issues and now cutting it close. Liz from Cypress was able to answer all questions and made suggestions on what works and what to do to make the party run smoothly. I even had to go to the Life Cafe myself and ask for catering details to get pricing for food for adults and Rachel Bennett at the cafe was able to put together a platter and was great at providing me pricing and suggestions on what to do considering they did not have their catering details available yet. When Nancy finally called me back yesterday (Tuesday), she was rude and not friendly and informed me that we could not have a 3 hour pool party, as recommended by the Cypress supervisor, because she had already booked another pool party to begin immediately after our party. I was shocked to learn that she had the time and forethought to finalize details for another party before ours and I told her I wanted to consider whether we could potentially change the party day so that we can get a 3 hour party but would think about that option while she continued to provide me with the other details we've been waiting on to confirm the party. Nancy insisted I tell her then whether or not I wanted the party date moved and asked several times before I had to stop her and say wait, I told you I would consider it during this phone call. She was being very aggressive and her tone was different from previous phone calls. I don't understand how she was able to work on and book another party for the same day as our party, while I knew I was their very first party booking at this location for the very first available party date. She blamed me although my inability to confirm all the details due was due to them not knowing nor having party procedures in place yet and then learning that although she knew the date of our party and that we wanted a pool party and have been waiting on her to provide information to finalize our party, she booked another party before finalizing our party details. I was treated horribly and the staff at this location does not care about their customers and basically blamed ME for my inability to confirm the details of the party. They took no responsibility nor were they apologetic and it seems this is an acceptable practice since they 'run a business' and even asked if we understood what that meant. It's not about the money, it's about the service. It's about the lack of customer oriented and friendly service, or at least being able to display common decency and respect. read more

It's been a month & so far I'm really enjoying my membership. The gym is well equipped. There are plenty of top notch treadmills & machines. The locker/shower facilities are top notch & kept immaculate. I've used the spa twice for a 90minute deep tissue massage. Cameron does a great job! I had my on-boarding session with David Martinez & he showed me around the gym & told me all about what lifetime has to offer. I especially like the on site cafe where I can grab a quick breakfast or shake after a workout or pick up a grab & go lunch or have something prepared while I wait. I'll remain a member as long as the facilities continue to be maintained well & I actually go! read more

Loved it! They offer such a great variety of yoga, cycle, dance, cross training, and other classes. Super intro/onboarding session! The facility does a nice job of helping you become well acquainted with the variety of equipment available for use. Looking forward to visiting the spa, and maybe even the bar at some point. Haven't tried the food yet. Love the availability of tennis courts, as well as the indoor and outdoor pools (one lap, and one leisure in each location). This gym is fantastic when it comes to classes and features. Everything is new so it's pretty clean. I happen to workout at night so I get a far worse experience. The room with the toilets has a door that shuts and the only way is to pull a handle which means it is impossible to get out without touching the handle that the person before you grabbed. Rather than spend the money to fix the door, they just dropped a sanitizer station in there. I have expressed serious concerns about the safety where the benches are as they are way too close to each other. I constantly see people with no shirts on in the workout area along with flip flops and Crocs. I have seen kids under the age of 14 working out without supervision numerous times. I have even seen a guy bring his "emotional support" pitbull in to sit on a bench while he works out cables some 15 feet away. I have sent close to ten emails to Clarence Latson with my concerns for safety along with value as this gym is quite expensive. I have been to other lifetimes and have to see anything like this gym. Clarence chooses to not respond or care or even resolve the issue. Not sure how it is during the day but I can tell you that late evenings you are getting a very undervalued product for an expensive price tag. The only reason it's two stars is because of the classes offered during regular hours which I do not get to experience. If anyone ever gets hurt there please reach out to me as I have a lot of evidence that your attorney will appreciate to back your case with lifetimes general manager's negligence. read more

During my year-long stay in the city of Webster, I was a member of Life Time for my last 8 months of it. I signed up for my membership online through their website when there were no initiation/joining fees and was able to have access to the gym immediately afterwards. The process was quick and simple. I knew exactly what I'd be paying for each month and was looking forward to see if I would be getting my money's worth. Month after month went by and I was attending this gym regularly. It became a part of my lifestyle and I can honestly say I was always excited to come there. I utilized the group fitness classes pretty often and really felt a sense of community with the members and instructors there. My favorite were Kettlebell Kombine with Trent, AMP cycling with Priscilla (SO much fun), and pretty much all of Melanie's classes. Everybody at the front desk is always friendly and courteous along with the trainers on the workout floor. I had to move so unfortunately, I had to cancel my membership. The process in doing that was quick and easy as well, I just had to sign a document up front. To be honest, this gym along with the friends I made there is probably what I miss the most about living in Webster. Maybe one day, I can return but until then, keep it up Life Time Baybrook! Such an amazing gym! Clean, staff is extremely good, the quality of this place is amazing. I used to go to 24 hour fitness on gulf free way so much better than that I mean obviously you get what you pay for but still it's so luxury and clean, cold in there, new floors, equipment, towels, the whole nine. It's amazing this gym blows all the ones in league city out of the water by far this was the best thing I could do for my fitness journey. I'm so happy this place came to Webster. Disclaimer** I did not try out the gym. I went to LifeSpa inside of the facility in which they have a hair salon to go and get my hair cut. It was truly a horrible experience. I had my hair cut with Sharonda and it was the worst hair cut I've ever gotten in my life. It was fine at the beginning, she cut my hair dry just so that I could see the length I wanted it and it looked nice and we agreed to cut it a half inch above that with layers(at this point my hair was right around the middle of my breast.) Then she washed it and started cutting, a little more than I had thought we agreed on but I assumed it was for the layers. Then she straightens it, and proceeds to suddenly and quickly cut it in a V-shape from the back when I only wear my hair curly and I told her this at the beginning of the appointment. Most anyone who has curly hair knows that the layers are very important and cutting it straight can get rid of the curl as well as make it puff up significantly. So it ended up looking very choppy and not how I wear my hair at all, and it was shorter straight than I had indicated I wanted with my hands at the beginning. But I know that some haircuts just need to be washed, so (honestly holding back tears) I left the salon saying thank you. When I washed my hair it shrunk up to my collarbone and I felt extremely upset, like she had gotten distracted talking to her sister during the haircut and ruined it. So I decided to call the salon to ask why she had cut it so short and she just kept repeating that she was "specific with her consultation" and that I told her to cut it like that, even saying that she had cut my sister's hair before so she knew how much shrinkage there was going to be, which is ridiculous because me and my sister don't have the same hair at all. She didn't offer me to come back and for her to fix it or anything like that and just kept repeating "I don't know what to tell you." I know I should have asked for a refund but I was so frustrated that I had to end the call. Even if I had wanted over half my hair chopped off, it still is a poor haircut with very bad layers and a general ignorance about how to cut curly hair. It was 100% a waste of my money and I will never return. read more

Very nice gym however I was very disappointed that on such a beautiful day we couldn't go to the outdoor pool because "children are only allowed in there on the weekends" which is absolutely ridiculous. There were no signs stating that, which is why we went out there. The only signs displayed were that children must be accompanied by an adult (there was two adults and one child so I think she would've been safe) After going into the pool for about 20 minutes a man came out and told us to get out because of this unwritten rule and stated that we could use the indoor pool. We went in there just to be told we couldn't sit on the seats provided because we had to be within ten feet of our child... this is a very small pool that only goes up to 3 feet deep and my daughter had floaties on as well. There is a life guard there which is great but half the time she didn't pay attention which is why I'm assuming we had to be so close to our child even though we had our eyes on her the whole time. My daughter was very disappointed to not play outside on such a nice day as it had rained all week.. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I had the worst experience with the kids academy. I booked a reservation for the nest because my daughter is only 5 months old (for ratio purposes). From the moment we got there, the lady at the front desk check in at the kids club was so rude. I reluctantly put my daughter in the nest because the employees in the nest were nice and she wouldn't have to interact with the front desk folks. When I got back, not even an hour and a half later, my daughter was on the floor by the front desk, in a high traffic area. I was furious, not only could she have been injured by all the older kids, but she was on the dirty floor. When I asked why she was out here, the front desk attendant said that it's because of ratios. I stated to her what was the point in booking an appointment then and she couldn't give me a response. When I got home, I noticed my daughter has a rash on the underside of her legs from the dirty floor which is painful to the touch. DO NOT PUT YOUR INFANT IN THE DAYCARE. They preach having a peace of mind while you are working out but they don't take care of your children. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. read more
