I love this gym. I've never ever had any issues with this Life Time. The gym is always cleaned. Considering the fact that this is the number one growing Life Time in the country that says something. Also, considering that it's ALWAYS cleaned. Other gyms can even compare. 24 hours as well. At anytime of the night I can come work out. Sit in any of the hot tubs, steam room.. Showers, any of it. The only thing that isn't 24 hours is obviously the classes. Classes are all during the day and are free to attend. Not even sign ups requires for most of them. Cancelling or holding the account is nothing. I've had to put my account on hold twice for various reasons. Mainly traveling or busy work seasons and have NEVER had an issue with it. There are no contracts required. Just a 30 day heads up. Love this place. Best gym I've ever been to. read more

This state of the art gym is truly amazing! Actually it's more like a Spa/resort. I came in for a tour and while I was waiting for Jorge, Jess the manager over the spa told me all about the spa and the rest of the facility. She answered all of my questions. She went out of her way to make me feel welcomed. Then I met Jorge. What a great guy! He gave me a tour of the facility, and he was very knowledgable about the various opportunities available there at Life Time. The owners/managers get it because they hire great people and have a business that exceeds the customers expectations! I would recommend this facility to everyone! Love this gym. It has everything you can imagine. The thing I don't like is 150 a month for a membership.

While we are still happy members here at lifetime I wish there was a wider variety of classes and class times offered. I love both Zumba and strike but they are both offered in limited days and usually both at the same day/time. Also the family locker rooms needs more consistent TLC. After swim lessons it is always filthy with mud on the floors and towels everywhere. You guys know that there will be a higher volume of people using the facility during the class times, so why not have checks more consistently. Also price changes that occurred as of March 1, now invites new members with kids to join at a lower rate then current members. If friends of ours didn't join, we would never of known. Regardless, we are still happy members. read more

My favorite place in the world besides my bed! Green valley has the best staff trainers and facility in Vegas or actually out of any gym I've been too. Just need to step up and add an alpha studio. I'll keep waiting, only been waiting 3 years now ‍ maybe a parking gate for the members with cards so the POS GVR staff doesn't take all of the parking and make it hard for people trying to work out and make it to classes or even just Lifetime stickers for the windshields and monitoring. MAJOR HEALTH and SAFETY issues! Lack of pool safety in swimming classes, a kid is going to get hurt/drown. 2. The worst cockroach infestation I've ever seen in my life out at the pool at night. They will crawl on your feet! 3. Consistently rotten old food at the cafe. 4. Managers are useless - Some are just rude and gaslight you, other's are walking around in a suit talking to people who are feeding their ego - this is not effective leadership when kids could be drowning and your place is cockroach infested and people are getting sick from the cafe! (The GM asked me to come talk to him, but when I ask for him the staff tells me he isn't there or is unavailable, even though he is just walking around talking to anyone and everyone, and is just right around the corner) 5. Staff in the kids area are great, but it is often under staffed. I've seen kids getting beat up, and I've had to yell for help. This place could be really awesome...but it's not. I don't even have a problem with the price if they were delivering what they are supposed to, and it was safe. It's actually a good deal with all the stuff the offer for kids. Unfortunately this place just gets worse and worse over time. They have recently started a remodel, hopes were that they would improve the fitness floor by adding more equipment, you often have to wait to use equipment as they only have 1-2 pieces of equipment per workout, or by adding more free weight space, good luck finding a spot, most apartment complexes have better and larger free weight sections. Alas no, they aren't fixing any of those issues instead they are updating the 50% of the fitness floor geared toward their paid workout classes...that's right $159 a month but they want you to pay for the "specialty classes" that take up 1/2 the room on the fitness floor. If you talk to members you will find that many of them have a membership at LifeTime and at LVAC because LVAC has more equipment and a better fitness floor. Let that sink in $159 a month and members spend part of the week working out at a place $20 a month because it's a better laid out gym. Yikes! Today's newest aggravation, but falls right into the culture at Lifetime, is the parking lot. It's usually close to full but today without any warning to any of the guests they shutdown and fenced off 1/2 of the parking lot. Cars circling the lot, cars parked up and down the street, no warning. Maybe this was a bad time to raise all of our rates? When you ask the front desk what is happening they will give you the standard response from LifeTime employees " We have no idea". Yep, that is common at this deeply corporate controlled facility, no one knows or is willing to find out what is happening. To give you an example of the corporate buffoonery you are walking into: A few months ago one of the channels on the tvs was not working so every 3rd tv was constantly flashing, it was very distracting. After a few days I asked the front desk if they could just turn off the tvs where the channel was out, seems simple, if something is broken just turn it off until it is fixed. The woman at the front desk had to pull out an operations request that I had to fill out...carbon copy in triplicate, signed by me as a member that then had to be approved by management and corporate. All of that just to turn off a broken tv. The fitness floor is a constant pain to find equipment, to have space to workout, awful layout geared towards them wanting more $$$ for the special fitness classes but the staff will tell you they are not just a gym so let's talk about the other facilities in this 90's style mini mall. Walk into the steam room right now and look up. I can guarantee in the light fixtures you will see rust and black mold growing in the light fixtures and the surrounding grout. I've brought this up on more than one occasion to management, they always look shocked and appalled but it rarely ever get's addressed, probably lost in a sea of paperwork. Next go and look at the hot tubs, the surrounding drains are covered in clumps of hair and garbage. Maybe facilities doesn't notice but when you are sitting in the hot tub you are at eye level staring at what has fallen off the body of every stranger who was lucky enough to beat out another for a parking space and has made it inside the building. This gym is mediocre at best but is being sold as though its for the guest who wants an elite specialized gym experience...this isn't it. Go somewhere else where you pay a mediocre price because you will get it exactly what you expect and are paying for, save yourself the aggravation of the LifeTime facade experience, all tile and no substance. The sooner Equinox builds a gym here the better off we will all be. Vegas is a city built on hospitality and LifeTime is in over their head. read more

So I live in Summerlin and called them over the phone to ask about renting a tennis court for an hour and also to rent from them the equipment, the representative over the phone asked me if I am a member and I told her that no I'm not.. she said that it's ok and we can still come over to rent it for $16 for the hour and an extra $2 for equipment needed for each person.. I was so happy and drove there for 30min' from my house with a friend.. when arriving to there the assistance manager "Jorge" was his name told me that we cannot get in if we are not paying 35$ each one to access the club and on top of it the $16+$2 each for equipment that's almost 100$ for 50 min' that we could play cause the closing at 8pm.. trying to explain the guy that we were told over the phone something else and if he may do something about it for the inconvenience of coming all the way from there and he was just not nice and very robotic and repeat himself again and again that it does make sense to him that we need to pay 100$ to play 50 min'.. anyway.. I wouldn't recommend a place who is not willing to help customers and that not standing behind there word! On top of that he didn't want to let me talk with a manager and kept saying that he is the one on charge and that he doesn't care about what we've been told over the phone, bottom line you want to play you pay! Kept the gym membership for about 6 months when I had free time in my life to work out a lot and use the amenities. It was very nice at first but the allure died down quickly when you realize you are trapped in an overly crowded space with pretentious d bags who just sit on equipment and snap chat all day long. Don't get me started on the 100s of kids running into you everywhere. I ended up buying a 24 Hour Fitness multi gym membership through Costco and joined a real yoga studio and now pay a 1/3 of what I was paying Lifetime and am enjoying working out a lot more now! Anyone who thinks Lifetime is worth $150/month needs to get over themselves and get their priorities straight... unless it's just looking pretty posing on $2K equipment. read more

Facility is clean, and the amenities are great. The staff is friendly and polite. Price is ridiculous. The trainer I was assigned to was unreceptive and just had me do the same 20 minute trx style workout I saw him do with every single one of this other clients on future visits. If I could give 9 million thumbs down I would. My husband and I decided to hop on the boojee train and join the facility due to the fact you could Bring your kids to a very clean day care while you work out. It turns out that if you don't call in time there will not be any available spots which happened a few times with us so it didn't make sense to continue the service with going there. I would like to mention that all of the trainers and workers there are extremely rude and need to be trained on customer service. For paying almost 400 a month you would think you wouldn't get dirty looks from men and women trainers who are jacked up on roids and where Chuck Taylers to the gym but sadly that's what it was. The last day before we decided to part ways a blonde trainer interrupted us stretching and popped a split in front of my husband trying to show him how to stretch. As I pulled back every ounce of wanting to head butt her for being so unprofessional I nicely asked what she was doing interrupting. She then went On to ask if our friend was teaching us how to stretch because their policy is no other trainers are allowed at the facility. As we got up to put our mats away she done asked me if I got my lips injected? Talk about completely unprofessional and not well mannered at all. I went into cancel on July 2nd and I even expressed how I felt about the club and my experience there. I never received any type of call or apology. I would definitely recommend this place to someone who wants to act like they work out but in reality have serious steroid And attitude issues. I've been a member for over 2 years. In that 2 years I've lost a total of 40 lbs, that I've never been able to lose at any other place (Crossfit gyms, LVAC, Bootcamps, etc). I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and it's 100% because I enjoy going. I love the group classes, they are never boring and I really enjoy the different people I've met there. I've met a large amount of diverse people from class and it's motivation to keep going. The coaches, staff and pool area are so awesome! My little guy can't wait for summer every year so he can go on the outdoor slide. He's grown up learning how important physical fitness is. I love lifetime Henderson! read more

Extremely clean with plenty variety of machines. All group classes and daycare included in price, and extensive tennis courts. Great kids programs. Vast outdoor pool and indoor pool. Every gym need met with the exception of racquetball courts. Great staff, encouraging and friendly and seemingly happy. 4 stars instead of 5 because of the 2 hour limit on daycare for children under 2, and for no indoor running track as well as no racquetball court. read more

In the 8 years of living in Vegas, I've had a gym membership to every other gym in the Valley. I couldn't find one to keep my attention long enough nor could I find one that I could say I loved. Life Time Athletic, you are my new permanent home. Before, I needed a membership to multiple gyms, pools, clubs to get what I needed. Now I can get everything in one place. 1. Gym equipment: It doesn't matter if it's 5PM on a weekday or if its January 2, there are always plenty of machines open. The machines are all very new (only complaint: ports for the old iPhone, not the lightning cable) and well taken care of. You can have a treadmill facing the TV, a treadmill facing the door, a treadmill facing another treadmill. You can change it up as much as you want :) 2. Locker rooms: dry and steam sauna, hot tubs and clean showers! Gym showers used to make me cringe, but there has not been a day that I didn't see at least two attendants cleaning the locker rooms. My germophobe self is no longer worried about the possible tinea hanging out on the floors 3. Pools: Not only are there swimming poolSSSS, but there are also lawn chairs, cabanas and a bar for anyone to use outside. It's the perfect place to read or do some studying! 4. Classes: There is a huge selection of classes going on ALL day. The latest classes go on until 9PM, (the earliest starting at 5:30AM, but who wants to wake up that early?!) which works well with my schedule. 5. Don't leave without getting the matcha mocha smoothie in the cafe! (I would insert that 100% + thumbs up emoji here if I could!) read more

I was a member for Life Time in Green Valley for about seven months until we moved from Nevada to Connecticut. It's taken me a while to write this review as I have some serious mixed feelings about this place. I was a member of ClubSport in Green Valley...a beautiful place where everyone knew each other and everything was comfortable. They were horrible at making money with old equipment and minimal advertising and so when Life Time came into town, they were run out of business. I was forced to find another gym. I decided to visit Life Time and ended up signing up for a family membership. Cost - Very very expensive. In addition to signup fees etc, the monthly fee paid for ONE member (when we signed up) was $150. Additional family member was $90. Third family member was $60. If we had a fourth it would be $40 for that one and then free after that. So if you have like eight kids, this is a great deal. Also, they charge extra for everything. You have a guest....slap you with a charge even though your membership comes with guest visits. They institute these ridiculous timing restrictions and just annoy the crap out of you. A members event like Halloween or Daddy Daughter Dance? Slap on a hefty charge...after a while it just pisses you off. I canceled my membership when I moved and happened to come back to Las Vegas to tie up some loose ends. I didn't go to the gym the last month I paid for my membership since I was in process of moving. I have many friends that are members. When I called to ask if I could come in on one of their guest memberships...I was told a flat out no as I had "visited" the gym in the prior 6 months. I told them my story and that I was a member who paid for 3 people and had literally not been to the gym for the last month and paid for that month. Nope...they would not budge and said I would need to pay the guest charge which is like $50 a day or something. On point of principle...hell no. I understand making money...but seriously... Amenities - Machines are all very updated, serviced on time and clean. Lots of cardio as well as weight machines. Classes are plentiful but I never really attended classes. I attended one spin class in my tenure there and it was nothing to write home about. The locker room is nice, the showers are not the cleanest but again, I used them sporadically. I primarily did cardio and light weights early in the morning. The pool (indoor) is amazing. It is heated and has a separate kiddie area so you can choose not to deal with the kids. The outdoor pool is nice but it was like a pool at a hotel. Seems very weird for a health club. I avoided it like the plague. The 24/7 access is also very useful. Staff - Generally, the staff were alright but seriously fake as can be expected in a place like this. There were a few personal trainers who were friendly. Front desk was for the most part pretty awful. Now...see the childcare section below for my separate take on that. The sales guy who signed me up as well as the sales guy that I went to cancel my membership were extremely annoying. More so than other gym sales dudes. Childcare facility - Now, if there is something I actually loved about this place and didn't feel horrible spending that much money for, it is the childcare facility. They had top-notch people working there who were friendly, great with kids and responsible. The facility was super clean. The employees were so responsive and security is impeccable. Now, if I were someone with many kids and no paying job, this is a great deal. (Never-mind, that I would probably go insane being that person.) Drop my kids off at great care, and chill for an hour or two. But since we used this facility maybe twice a week (weekends primarily) and with only one child, I feel that in my case, it did not justify the cost. I have to say that since I left Life Time, I've felt a huge weight lift off my shoulders - most likely the financial ridiculousness of the membership. Just logically, I feel like I should not be paying that much for cardio and light weights. Also, not having to see the silicone-filled middle-aged lady in highly unflattering workout wear that talks loudly on her phone while on the elliptical next to me is refreshing (most of the clientele btw). I've joined a nice gym that is more reasonable, has the machines I use, is clean, has a decent clientele, is not insane about charging me for every step I take and close to the house. If a Life Time moved to my area in CT right now, I don't think I would join. Not to say I didn't enjoy it....I just wouldn't do it again. PS. do not pay for the "experience life" magazine they make you get with your membership and then have to call and cancel. it is probably one of the worse reading materials I have come across. They still send me emails to sign back up for that BS. I mean, it was really really bad. read more

I first tried Life Time a few months ago because I was honestly just tired of going to overcrowded gyms that were always dirty and unsanitary. I signed up for a day pass through the lifetime website because I was genuinely interested in joining. The monthly membership fee is pretty expensive but I honestly didn't mind the price if it was worth it. It wasn't. First of all, you can't even use your day pass without speaking to a representative for an hour or so while they give you this spiel about the gym, the resort setting, and other nonsense. Also, please don't make the mistake of giving them your phone number because they will call multiple times a day every day of the week until you literally have to block their number. It's atrocious. Most of this place is honestly useless for the people that have gym memberships to actually work out. There's a salon where you can get your hair done, a water park, tennis courts and a food court, but the actual work-out area is mediocre at best and sure as hell isn't worth over $100. The employees are also extremely pretentious for no reason. I couldn't even ask a simple question without someone giving me a rude and condescending answer. This place is out of its mind to expect people to pay for bad customer service and broken gym equipment. Please save your money and go to LVAC. Atleast they have an indoor track. read more

I work at the mgm grand. I entered a raffle and won a 3 month pass. I was beyond excited. I've been wanting to try this gym out but have been a little squeamish about the price. And here u go, 3 months! Well... The staff acted like it was the weirdest thing they had ever seen and at first weren't going to allow me 24/7 access, even though the paper says it's for 24/7 access. Then the staff gave me a special card so that every time i came n they had to look me up instead of just swipe my card. I felt like an outcast every time i went in. Then there r Kurds programs and kids simmer programs and so i thought ill just pay extra and take her in while i work out. Well they wouldn't let me. They normally give a new client one day for 3 hours but would only allow me to bring my daughter once for an hour. After that i wouldn't b able to bring her again. Thus severely limited the amount of days i could go in. Had i known this was going to b an issue i would have signed up when school started again. I was very disappointed and so was my daughter. Also i wasn't allowed to throw her bday party there or bring her n to have tennis lessons beciase i wasn't a "real" member. I had to waste my whole membership and i was made to feel like a burden. Also when u sign up u get a gift package with some freebies. I wasn't given this because, again, i wasn't a "real" member. Ok. They don't wanna lose money in case i don't sign up after my trial. Well they do a prescreening to get u started that i wanted to use to see what i should start doing. They wouldn't even do that. Now had i gotten that part i would have put more effort into going since i would know what to do and probably would have signed up. But i got none of the bonuses, got no use of the extra this, which i would have had to pay for thus increasing how much they made, and they wouldn't let me bring my daughter. Again that would have been an extra 50ish dollars a month for them those 3 months. Anyway i don't feel like they valued me as a client or guest. Alsi The manager acted like they didn't understand The promotion or how it worked. And made me wait and cwait til i finally went back to him for details. I had to ask 3 or 4 times before i found out that i wouldn't be counted as a "real" guest. The classes were fun, although the hot yoga classes aren't as hot as I'm used to having them. But i won't be joining any time soon after how i made to feel. Lifetime if you're gonna offer a promotion, then offer it and treat the person as a regulat guest if you want to keep clients. First impression of the gym is the wow factor. The pools, hot tubs, the outdoor grounds is like the Wynn Resort. Now, for the disappointing part and the reason for only 2 stars. This gym is basically a daycare with toddlers and kids everywhere. The hot tubs are hangouts for all the teenagers. I feel like I'm back in high school . I don't mind kids but when I'm at the gym I don't want to hear babies crying or kids whining to there parents or see someone changing a shitty diaper. Who the heck is supposed to be cleaning the locker rooms because they are always filthy with dirty floors and hair in the showers. Speaking of showers, if you use the shampoo ,your hair will feel like a brillo pad after you use it. Howly moly, what is in that shampoo because I look like Edward Scissor hand after. Im also not impressed with some of the teachers and expect top quality like they promised when I joined. . This is Vegas and there are so many talented people from all over the world that live here, go find them. I really wanted to like this gym and I'm hoping it will improve . So far ,I feel like its more like a high end YMCA. I used to belong to Equinox in California and it was run so much better and the instructors were incredible. I have to share a very unsavory experience I just had with the seemingly pristine Life Time Athletic club, the Henderson, NV location. I come from an Olympic Lifting gymnasium--a gym with nothing but Olympic lifting platforms (designed for cleans, snatches, and squats) and weights. Since I joined last Sunday, I have been coming in regularly and utilizing Life Time's training platforms just as I have at my Oly gym. Today, while doing clean and jerks, I dropped my bar from the overhead position onto the platform, a typically normal thing to do as an Olympic power lifter, and I was lectured by a trainer with no muscle and toothpicks for legs for dumping my bar onto the platform, which is what it's there for. I was told specifically "Don't drop the weight onto the platform. Guide it down gently." A manager who was on the floor nearby backed him up saying, "You Ok with that?" I was in shock. Anyone who's had any experience with power lifting, weight lifting, and crossfit can attest that once the weight is over a certain amount and it's overhead there's no way of "getting it down gently" other than dropping it onto the platform. Taken aback by the lecture I received, I spoke with the club's general manager, Kevin Siegel, regarding my concern about the use of the training platforms. He didn't care at all about my complaint. When I presented my problem, he said the platforms aren't really designed for heavy power lifting. (So I guess they are there for decoration or for members who squat 50 lbs. Got it). He said by dropping bars onto the platforms, things could happen that could create a negative member experience for others like barbells hitting other members, the foundation cracking, noise affecting other members, and hearing the loud barbell from the offices downstairs. What? First of all, the barbell wouldn't roll and hit another member. The platform is rubber and durable and its traction prevents much movement once the barbell is set down. And, if you know what you're doing, the bar comes straight down. Second, the foundation cracking? Again, the platform is durable and prevents the bar from making contact with the floor. Third, no one is distracted by the "noise" created by dropping a barbell onto the platform. Even from a height, the drop is no louder than the brief clang you hear when metal plates are pushed together at a bench station. And if you can hear the barbells from your office downstairs, then whoever designed the club is a horrible architect. Since he didn't address my concern with any satisfaction, I asked him what the guidelines were for the platforms and I was told to "be mindful of the people around me and to try to not drop the bar from a height. Use the boxes." I said that wasn't going to work because that is, often, a hinderance for the movements. So I asked so how do you make the bodybuilders and power lifters happy? Where is the happy medium? And Kevin's response, and I quote, "We are not looking for their business. We are not an EOS Fitness or Gold's gym. Our clientele is mostly affluent families." What a testament to customer service. We are not looking for their business. So if you are a bodybuilder, heavy lifter, or power lifter, sorry. Guess you're not wanted here. The facility is great. The pools are outstanding. Glad to see the Tennis courts too. But why do you join a health club? For the gym! The gym floor sucks. Great equipment, but it's all jammed up and tight. "Sorry if my elbow hits you in the face" kind of tight. How about cutting out one basketball court and give us some space to actually work out? Wow- gave this club close to a year to get there act together regarding scheduling tennis drills and it only took the third time to have an issue. After having scheduled another (the 3rd) drill this week they (the tennis desk attendant) incorrectly input the reservation for next week instead of this week. This was a giant waste of time for me as I showed up to a class that was full and did not include myself. It would of been a different story if I hadn't a history with them doing the exact same thing in the past. Lifetime- get your act together- hire someone or fire someone because for the monthly membership fee along with all other tennis related fees you should handle things in a much more professional manner! read more

They had a Halloween event but nowhere in their advertising was there anything about a cover charge. But once your there with the kids you pay since you spent all that time getting ready and going. Why can't they just be honest. read more

We all know Lifetime Fitness is EXPENSIVE so let's get that out of the way. However what's that rule about you get what you pay for? Yeah.. that one.. So the price doesn't bother me at all because the type of service and amenities that are offered here are incredible. I attend the Summerlin location normally but yesterday decided to try out this one! I'm glad I did because I'm sad to say that I actually liked this one better than the Summerlin one and I live way closer to that one. The customer service seemed to be fine on this visit I was greeted in the front professionally and almost every employee that walked past spoke. The gym itself is smaller than the other location but I could deal with that. I was quite surprised that they weren't as packed as I thought around 6PM. This is usually the "no-no-" time to go to the gym because of that sickening after work crowd comes in. The cleanliness was just as good as my Summerlin one. I do like the fact that the hot tub is set up differently and that the sauna is actually inside the locker room. Like many have already stated yes this is a family orientated gym so with that being said I avoid the "Family Times" hell just come when it's bed time for the children that's what I do and I love it! Downfall are the location's and we only have two between Las Vegas/Henderson which is why I've kept my other gym membership. So if you're a baller just have multiple memberships! read more

I don't know what has been going on with this location, whether they have a new manager or maybe once they have you as a member they wipe the fake smile of their face. Their cleanliness is what attracted me most and now their steam room is alway filthy and when I mentioned it to the staff, I got a bullshit response telling me they clean it twice a day. read more
