I love this facility but they made a $650 unauthorized charge to my new credit card. I train everyday at the Summerlin location. Great staff, great gym. Came to the Henderson location to switch it up and damn!! Front desk staff is super rude so rude I almost left. Katie at the front was sarcastic and very rude. If your looking for a gym this one is not the one. Wow just wow. Best gym I have ever been to. Worth every dollar. My daughter also has a blast with classes included in her membership like yoga, dance, martial arts, and tumbling just to name a few. We signed up with Trevor and he's been nothing but helpful with every question we have. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs are incredible and my daughter loves the water slides. I came in here to check out the new facility. It was GORGEOUS!!! I felt like I was in a hotel instead of a gym. But that was just it, I felt like I was at a resort instead of a gym. Sure it was fancy, but I'm looking to workout not get accommodated except for when it comes to my amenities. The staff was all super friendly but it seemed ingenuine. They were so overdressed I felt like I was in an upscale office. The management wore suits!!! While the front desk wore button downs and neck ties. I've never seen such a ridiculously pompous gym in my life, I felt like I didn't belong there unless I had millions of dollars to my name. So unless you're a celebrity or someone with wealth, I wouldn't recommend walking in here. read more

I don't have any complaints about this gym. It's beautiful, and offers so much! I mainly just go to the classes, because they never get old and they kick my butt! My favorite class instructor is Pamela, she's so inspiring and overall just a great instructor. I love that the showers have everything stocked including shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, body wash. They also have razors, hair spray, lotion, qtips, and cotton balls. There's even a good quality blow dryer to utilize. Full towel service. The pool is amazing, that includes a bar for food and drinks. Amber from the LifeSpa was amazing when I got my nails done. Also, the cocoa matcha shake is delicious from the LifeCafe. The staff throughout the gym is very nice, and very informative. Yes, it is very pricey. But so worth it!! read more

This gym is one the biggest mistakes I ever made if your supposed to get what you pay for then save your money for a country club . This gym is over priced charge you at $150 dollars a month and thats only if you have no children because if you have a small child its another 40 dollars on top of that, not to mention there childcare is always closed your better off going to 24 hour fitness or EOS.You are allowed 1 guest pass per month but forget about trying bring a non member because the staff is extremely rude and will make your guest want to run the other way. And it is huge with indoor and outdoor pools but they always close early. The staff here at front desk is horrible. The only nice ppl here are in the childcare area which is always closed. This review is for Carmen, a personal trainer at Lifetime. After 2 kids and years of working out on my own and trying to get that perfect, round, gravity defying Booty of my dreams I acquiesced and asked another trainer at Lifetime who they'd recommend as the BEST booty trainer. I told them that I didn't care about anything else, just getting that Booty! I was quickly introduced to Carmen, and after a what I hoped was inconspicuous once over, determined that her toned & muscular backside spoke for itself. I started training in august with Carmen, and it is his January. Flash forward 5 months of weekly sessions and wow! I just can't say how pleased I am. I have seen such a difference in my Booty and it's all thanks too her. She never put me on any weird or restrictive diet (although I do try to get a lot of protein in after working out). Our sessions included exercises that were varied, never boring, always challenging and fun! She has a great personality and even though I know I'm going to work hard (I'm lazy), I always look forward to our sessions. Most importantly, for the first time maybe forever, I find myself admiring my rear in the mirror in a tight pair of jeans, and my legs are shapely, toned and Rock solid. My friends keep asking if I've lost weight, too! At the risk of Carmen getting too busy to see me, I must say, if you are looking to grow the booty of your dreams and get toned overall, look no further. read more

Al at Lifetime Fitness in Henderson was real nice on the phone he stated 0 sign up fees I stated I was of the following day can my wife come he said yes. My wife called him he sent her a promo code and personally told he we would be ok with that code. I called him the next day he said can't honer agreement because the code was not locked in! Vary bad business I've been in Sales for 25 years and this is vary bad business! I'm a Sales Manager and I would never treat a Customer like this. I can see why everyone is complaining about the staff from this company. I was looking around for different gyms, and I had signed up for the 1-day free trial. Well, after I had found a gym that is closer and cheaper, the Web Specialist (Dakota), had asked me if I was still interested. I explained everything and Dakota was sarcastic (as if she was like "why even bother signing up and wasting our time") and just hung up the phone without a professional ending. Keep in mind, she is in charge of numerous locations. The lack of understanding/professionalism is insane and I will definitely not come here nor recommend this place. read more

First let me say, it's really upsetting I have to leave this review. The facilities are top notch and a FEW employees, including membership sales rep Terrance and most of front desk staff, are very kind and professional. This is where the positives end... The workout floor upstairs is overrun with ARROGANT and RUDE personal trainers who treat members like they're inconveniencing all of them and their workouts with their clients. When I voiced my concern after a specific incident, the only people who showed any remorse or true concern have nothing to do with operating the personal training department. The smugness of the personal training manager clearly indicates the problem is coming from the top down. I so desperately wanted to keep my membership and just have someone besides one person care about my terrible experience but only one person showed they cared, Terrance's supervisor, and that wasn't good enough. I cancelled my membership two days ago because the staff should understand they all need to unify in the member experience. There isn't enough great things to say about this gym. You get what you pay for. It's perfect. The people complaining about the price knew what they were in for when they signed up, so get over it. The trainers are amazing, specifically Ryan H, Brandon B, and Nicholas. It's clean as can be, and the variety of classes is great. I can get a good workout in every single day before work and get cleaned up in their great locker room facilities and be ready to go. I walked in here not long after they opened for a tour. After being greeted by the receptionist I was asked to wait in the lobby area of the club. While waiting for my tour guide I received un-welcomed attention (harassment) from a male member walking past me while going into another part of the club. Not long after, Jackie, my sales consultant appeared and introduced herself. Of course, the club is very impressive. I told her I was interested in weight training mostly. The subject of yoga came up often during the tour and with other employees while on the tour. At the end of the tour I decided to join. I did not use the club that day. On my way out to my vehicle I again received un-wanted attention (harassment) from a male member. After thinking about the club for a few days I decided to cancel the membership. It had nothing to do with the harassment I experienced. Some men are very child like and the only way they can feel superior is by putting women down in some way. Sad but true. I noticed this to be more pervasive in Henderson/Las Vegas. Anyway, If you live within a few miles to the club, a person could get value from the cost of a membership if you could attend almost every day. But I did not feel I could attend enough to justify $144.00 a month. So I had 14 days to cancel in writing via certified mail which I did. I received all monies paid back to my credit card. I'm not saying I would not consider joining in the future. But I discovered some interesting places around Henderson that you can pay per visit which suits me better. If you ever plan on cancelling in writing double check the zip code for the club. It is not 89052. read more

Beautiful, resort style gym and equipment. I have nothing negative to say except for the fact That that do not keep their gym equipment clean. I went a few days in a row and one of the machines had the same beverage stain on it every day I was there. Pricier than other local gyms but well worth it if you take advantage of all of the amenities (ie: free classes, multiple pools, water slide, hot tubs, eucalyptus steams, saunas, towels, deodorant, toiletries, etc). It is very clean, the equipment is abundant and machines are state of the art and well maintained. There is a Spa, Wellness Center, Cafe and outdoor bar by the pool). I toured a couple of gyms (which were crowed, smelly meat markets) before I came across this oasis. I have also witnessed their emergency response team in action when there was an unfortunate medical issue with a member and their reaction time and organization was truly impressive! read more

This is a very nice gym and you can definitely spend an entire day there. It is very frustrating, though, that the club does not take the maintenance of its outdoor tennis courts very seriously. I don't expect it to be immaculate, but they don't clean the courts on a regular basis. Also, for some reason they blast house music starting at noon on the weekends. I have complained about the volume of the music but they just don't care. I really hope that it's management takes these complaints seriously. read more

I would have given it NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. This is a gym that doesn't believe in the respect of it's members or maintain business values. I had an expensive chain stolen out of a locked locker in the men's locker room and all I got was the policy and procedure run around with the GM and the Insurance Company, Travelers Insurance, which stated that it was a third party incident, so the gym is NOT responsible. In the meantime, this is a classic situation of NOT doing the right thing as a business. It is NOT a matter of processes, procedures, insurance loopholes, or the blame game of it's not the business's fault. Precautions were not made by the gym when they knew there was a thief at both the Green Valley and Summerlin locations. Signage or even a simple member email was NOT posted or sent for weeks after the first incident giving a true warning to members showing the gym cares for their members or just standard business values. Not to mention the signage was taken down days after the thief was caught like there was never any issues in either locations at all. There was never any additional security on the premises during this time they were trying to catch the thief. The GM's offer to me since the Insurance Company said the gym was NOT liable was a complimentary month of membership (value of $149) and $200 Lifetime Bucks for a gold chain that was at a value of $3,750 plus tax for replacement with sentimental value of 21 years around my neck. We the gym did nothing wrong, but we are going to make an offer so that you don't tell anyone. I decided to decline the disrespectful offer and go to Planet Fitness instead. At this point, the gym knows they didn't do the right thing and it is best for me to move on. So, now I am here to tell my story and let good people know that this gym doesn't have any business values what so ever and to please remember that the next time you walk into the Life Time locker room and place your belongings in a locked locker, no matter what occurs while you are away, the gym will NOT help you what so ever and this is why they will NOT be getting anymore of my monthly earnings. The best all around gym in the area. Has an amazing kids and activities center. The classes are free and have great instructors. Yes, this place costs more than other gyms but it is well worth it. It weeds out a lot of the riff raff that you do not want in a luxury gym. Has basketball, tennis, raquetball, indoor and outdoor pools. Went for a tour with the family. A dark mexican guy named Jorge gave us a tour. He sounded very cocky and disrespectful, it turned everyone off especially my mother. We were gonna sign up for a family membership since one of our close family friends goes here and recommended this gym (we were even to use the gym that day) but we ended up not doing it because of Jorge. I hope the rest of the staff are different, we ended up keeping our LVAC membership. read more

From my initial inquiry to my first workout as a member, I have been impressed with the quality customer service at Lifetime Athletic. Lamar Higginbotham gave me a tour of the gym and set me up with my membership and I am so excited to workout and be in a friendly environment. Contrary to what I thought, Lifetime Athletic has not been the "better than thou" environment that I was expecting. The front desk staff are kind, the members actually converse and share tips and the gym itself is fully equipped and so clean! I can see why people pay the higher price to come to Lifetime; it has a real community vibe and I can't see myself wanting to go anywhere else. Beautiful facility, I've wanted to join for a while now, but today I looked farther into their memberships. I found that memberships only include the ability to walk in and out of their front doors. I was interested in classes and the tennis courts. It might have ALMOST made the GROUP rate worth it. But they are not included in the membership price.
