I love Life4Cuts usually but this location is crazy dirty. Most of the accessories were either really dirty or looked old... A lot of them looked visibly gray with dirt. It's also very hot inside with no airflow. I feel like their other locations have accessories that are a little cleaner and the interior is less suffocating. I don't want to be sweating when I'm trying to look cute in my photos. In terms of service, this is an unmanned location. Me and my partner went on a Valentine's evening and one of the booths was not operating properly. Other than for cleanliness, I think they need to consider having an employee here to make sure the photo booths are all properly operating, especially on a busy holiday. Overall I really like Life4Cuts normally, but this location was looking grody. Wouldn't come back to this one. read more

Not gonna lie, I've come here a heck of a lot times. At least 5. Even on New Year's Day. Always a phenomenal core memory for me here with my best friend. We take the cutest pictures ever here. It's usually $8 or a little bit more depending on the type of photo print you want. Good quality, and none of mine have faded even 1-2 years later. The service is self service with cameras monitoring the store. The selection of photo booths are probably like 3-5, I can't remember exactly, but there are tons of pretty themes to choose from. It's a cute little self Photo Booth spot for after eating at the plaza or grabbing some boba. Not busy on the weekdays during the night, it's $10 for two strips and goes in bundles of two. You also get a video of your photo booth session. You can choose to keep or hang your strips on their wall. They have a variety of headwear you can choose from, however do understand that everyone uses them so they can get dirty. Doors automatically lock at 2am so do not get locked inside as there is no staff that is there for the whole hours that they're open. read more

Such a nice addition to Yes Plaza! A well organized and cute spot. Very clean and an employee comes by regularly to check on the shop. There's 3 booths inside, so I can imagine you may need to wait when it's busy on the weekends. No plushies or pillows to take pictures with, BUT there's lots of head gear: headbands, wigs, and hats... When I was here around the holidays, there were lots of Christmas-themed items to use. Life4Cuts is a Korean chain of photobooth businesses that seem to be popping up everywhere. This location in Rowland Heights is open late and self served. I've been here one time when the staff came in the wipe down all the booths, clean out the trash and reset the props. They have 3 booths. Photo 01 and Photo 02 are regular sized rooms with a pink and blue background. Photo 03 is a larger room for bigger groups with a purple background. 2 photo strips of 4 is $10, but they have options to purchase additional ones if you have a bigger group. There is also an option for 1 retake. They have simple frames, and it's fairly no frills. It doesn't compare to the OG Cue's - Purikura photobooths, but it's like the photobooth alternative if you don't have time to fly to Japan for that since Cue's have closed down. The time can move quick if you aren't prepared so I recommend planning out your poses before you pay and start the process. I took my niece here as a part of her birthday outing and we had a lot of fun. We love these photobooths since it's a cute memento for us to have to look back and reminisce on. In with the new and out with the old. For all the old heads out there, remember when Cue! used to be part of this plaza? Those were some real nostalgic times. I'm seeing more of these photo strip photobooths pop up and I'm sure that comes with the influx of Kpop popularity. Personal preference, I prefer the kawaii-ness and editing of purikura over these photobooths, but it's still a fun place to go to with friends to kill time (especially if you're on a waitlist for an eatery nearby). It's pretty crazy that the shop itself is unmanned and is opened late into the AM. Everything is done via cashless pay and QR codes. You can wear any of the cute/funny hats they have there, crowns, sunglasses etc. Some of them do look a bit scruffed and dirty so that is up to your discretion. They also have a vanity mirror if you need to check out what you look like or adjust your make up. When you're done taking your pictures they also have the clear plastic thin cover you can put your photos in to protect them. From what I saw, you have the option of the thin vertical photo strip or the bigger photo postcard set. You can choose the frame for the photos and it ranges from your K-pop bias, cute animals, seasonal celebrations, etc. We opted for this beach vacation anime looking one. You can also choose the saturation/brightness for the pictures, if you want them black and white, and of course you can choose the pictures you want to keep. For 4 vertical strips and 1 photo session, it was $16. Overall not bad. read more

Love this place. I accidentally stumbled upon this place and it reminded me of the times I would visit Korea and how they would have these on every block. There's no attendant working the location it's run through the integrity system/ honor system. So far everyone does a magnificent job of putting back the props and keeping the location nice and tidy there's a variety of different wigs, hats, sunglasses and props to use for your photos. The price is really good. You get to pick two sets of four pictures for eight dollars or two sets of eight photos for $10, they have three different booths that can fit a numerous amount of people. It's honestly one of the best times I've had with my friends highly recommend. read more

This was my first time visiting Life4Cuts and I didn't even know it's a picture store with no one that works inside so the vibe was really good because you "get the whole store by yourself". Instruction was easy to followed and u can choose fromm3 different backdrop! For $8, we got 2 prints with 8 pictures taken and we can choose 4! I love that is place is self-service! A quick way to capture and preserve memories :) There are 3 booths (2 smaller, 1 larger) with different color backgrounds. There are a bunch of cute hats and glasses to choose from. The 4x1 layout is $6 for two copies, 2x2 layout is $8 for two copies. Instructions are straight forward. You choose your props, head into a booth, follow the instructions on the screen, choose your print layout and frame colors, pay by card, and take your photos! There are options to take pics with a remote control or have it automatically count down and take them for you. With each option, you take 8 photos and then you can select 4 to go on your prints. They provide little plastic protectors for your photo prints. My two qualms: (1) It would be great if there were other fun frame colors or patterns. 10/28/23 - This is a Korean style photobooth place with 3 photobooths to access and use. 1 of them is meant for bigger parties, while 2 of them are for smaller parties. There's a wide arrangement of props to choose from and also mirrors with a hair dryer nearby to make sure that you're camera-ready. It's $6-8 for photos and you get to choose your own frames for the photostrip. At the time that I went, there were K-pop and Halloween-themed frames. You could even choose frames where a member of a certain K-pop group could be edited into the picture, so it looks like you're posing with them. There was no staff present when we were there. Once you choose the props you want to use, you pay in the photobooth and then take the photos. You're given the option to receive digital photo and video copies in addition to the 2 physical photostrips. Definitely get the digital copies since it doesn't cost extra! I especially liked the video copy as it captured the few seconds prior to taking each photo. We went later in the evening on a Saturday and it wasn't busy. The inside is decorated with photostrips from other people so if you're willing to part with one of your photostrips, you can hang one as well. It's a lot of fun and $6 is a great deal considering how expensive regular photobooths are at a mall or other location. It's a 10/10 experience, so if you're in the area, you should definitely go and get a memento to commemorate your fun. read more

Tonight, me and my friends tried to use Booth number 1, but noticed that the touch screen was defective, so we moved over to booth number 2. After choosing our frame and making the payment, the photos were automatically taken every 2 seconds!! We weren't ready, so we retook the photos. This time I felt we were able to take good ones despite the 2 second count down. But after all that, our photo did NOT get printed. Life4Cuts is a popular Korean Photo Booth place that launched here in the US. So far there are a couple of locations and I've been to 2 of them. The concept is pretty simple - you walk in pick out some props and find a nice colored background/room to shoot your photos. There were 4 colors at this place - light blue, navy blue, purple (lilac) and pink. There's no time limit for the rooms but if people are waiting I'd probably try to get in and out sooner rather than later. The props were pretty well kept some of them seemed a little dirty. I think the value for what you get is great. It's much cheaper than going to a place like Round1 to take photos. read more

This is my first time visiting this location and it's as nice as the others! Like the other locations, it has different color rooms to take photos in (blue, pink, purple), there are a bunch of accessories to try on, and there's tons of mirrors to fix yourself up. This location doesn't have a line on the weekend like the Buena Park one, so it's nice to drop by with friends to take a quick photo and then grab something to eat in the plaza. I had a fantastic experience here! Came in around 4pm on a Sunday for an impromptu photoshoot. There was no wait whatsoever and a great assortment of props to select from. The booths were clean and the pictures came out in great quality! Also tons of cute photo frames and filters you can select from. I wanna give this place 5 stars because I love the idea but theres a few things that bother me. The biggest frustration is that they let you use all these props but give you no where to put it. I walked into a booth and there were so many items on the floor, there are signs that say please don't put stuff on the floor but they also give you no where to put stuff. There is only a small coat rack. I wish they put a small coffee table in the room it can totally fit, I have tried putting sunglasses on the coat hanger but it just slips onto the floor plus when you are swapping stuff with the limited time you have it is hard when stuff drops on the floor and sometimes you have purses and other stuff you want to lay down but a coat hanger can't hang a heavy backpack without toppling over. Plus when you have 5ppl with 4 items each that hanger won't hang anything. Please put a table in the booths. Second they raised the prices of idol photos, in korea its already much cheaper but $10 was already expensive for just 1 strip and then a bookmark but now 12? I can buy an kpop album almost, at least give 2 strips. $12 for a single trip of photo paper is a bit frustrating when the photos are already timed fast to take and you get 2 tries only. Lastly some of my idol photos were blurry, like my Hoshi from Seventeen strip he came out pixelated, disappointed for such a expensive 10 second experience. Also they say they wash their hats but I hope they wash their stuff daily because I don't see any staff to help with technical issues and all the hats I saw had makeup stains, hair strands, and smelled sweaty. Also the filter was off, sometimes the bright is fine, other times I used it it over exposed the whole photo made my hair even look gray. One suggestion is when taking photos look at the camera not the screen showing yourself otherwise it looks like you are looking down. read more
