This isn't deep cleaning.... they ask you to vacuum your carpets first and then just wipe it with a steam cleaner. One of rooms was left with a dirty after odor and when I complained he said, "You have a pet? Oh should have told us before and it'll be $30 for me to come down and de-odorize it". ***WARNING*** I Bought a Groupon to have my sofa steam cleaned and when I called them to set up the appointment they wouldn't answer the phone - for days. The phone number they're using is someone's personal phone, so they just answer, "Hello?"................. *unprofessional. So, I sent a text message, and finally someone called me back. *frustrating. I mentioned that I bought a Groupon, which he was clearly irritated by (hey buddy, if you don't like doing Groupon deals the DON'T OFFER THEM!) otherwise, get over yourself, because you're getting business! ...and THEN....yes, here it comes...the hidden costs. I told him that I live in an apartment building and he asked which floor. Third. "Oh, well, there's an extra charge for us to go up to the 3rd floor". I told him that that was not stated in the Groupon anywhere. He said, "Oh yeah, it is - you have to read the small print..." I let him know that I was reading the actual Groupon deal at that exact moment, and NO! in fact, it does NOT say that ANYWHERE. *fact. He put me on an unnecessary hold. *rude. And to-boot the Groupon explicitly insists that you tip based on the original cost of the cleaning ($175), and NOT the Groupon deal ($54) *ha! you're kidding, right? (I bought the Groupon to save money, Ding Dong) And let me add again ~ If you do not want to honor the Groupon deal - DO NOT OFFER THEM. Luckily, for this scamming business, I rolled the dice & prayed and bought it anyway (because my sofa desperately needed to be cleaned). And luckily for them, the guy that arrived to do the cleaning was super professional and friendly - possible because I stood over him and watched every single move, took photos, etc. to make sure he did it right the first time. Unfortunately, he missed a few spots and it's super noticeable. Otherwise, it was a descent job. Should've just rented a steamer and done it myself, I guess. LifEco was great! Showed up as promised on short notice, were very efficient with laying wall corner protectors, spraying pre-treatment, and steam cleaning. Removed stains others had failed to before. Used an industrial-grade truck mounted machine as opposed to a loud portable one. Also their rates were very competitive against other local companies. We just had Lifeco our earlier today to clean our carpets. I found a groupon for $49 for 3 rooms of cleaning. I called 6 days before Thanksgiving, VERY hopeful that they could get me in before the big day. They gave me the option on the next day, or today (two days before Thanksgiving). They cleaned our living room, dining room and the hall in less than an hour and it looks and smells great! I could not be happier with the service. We did have to pay an extra $15 per room for pet stains from our old puggie, but $80 was still wayyyy cheaper than the other companies in the area, and I can't imagine they do any better job than this. We did not have a good experience. Be warned that if you use a groupon it is a lower standard of service - for example they do not do any vaccuuming prior and expect you to do it even though we weren't told that ahead of time. They left clumps of hair on the hard floors without picking it up and skipped part of the rooms even though they said they cleaned them. After they left those parts were still completely dry. When I called to ask to come back they to clean the parts they skipped they said they would have to charge me again. I found a Groupon for Lifeco. First available appointment was about 3 weeks out, but I wasn't in a super rush. They did a great job! Guys were super friendly. They got a stubborn stain out of the carpet. Carpets look so much better, and the cleaner they used smells really good! I'll be using Lifeco again. read more

BAIT AND SWITCH! SCAM! My groupon said it covered up to 2,500 feet of cleaning but they wouldn't honor it because my home is larger than that. Half my house is hardwood floors or title that they are not cleaning. I am not paying you for space that I own that you are not doing anything to! (The groupon never specified the size of the house, only the amount of square footage to be cleaned which I was under) The guy claimed the phone number I had wasn't his cell phone number, I called several times to talk to someone above him and got no answer. My husband watched him reject my calls though, so it was his cell phone and not a manager or the actual business. read more

They did the cleaning, were super nice and polite, and then told me they could clean up spots next time... or something along those lines. Will not be using their services again. They used a lot of very pungent cleaners and it didn't get rinsed well enough and also made fabric very stiff/scratchy. I tried to air it out for a few weeks to see if it would get better instead of complain. When I called to tell them about it, they said because I used a Groupon and didn't call right after it happened, they were not willing to help. All I asked for was it to be rinsed - not re-cleaned. Now we have a very nice Room and Board sofa that nobody wants to sit on in my house. Poor long term customer retention strategy as I have a dog and a toddler, I get things cleaned very often. I used a Groupon to schedule a carpet cleaning. They arrived and said they couldn't get their van close enough to the house to do the job. I told them they could back up onto the dirt and they claimed it was muddy (hasn't rained yet) and the van would sink....so now I have to rent a unit myself and do it before my guests arrive. The only resolution they could come up with would be to come back another day to charge me an additional $150 to use their portable unit. What a joke. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! read more

I called and specifically needed pet odor removal. They came out (a day late as they cancelled the first appointment 1 hour before they were to show up) I showed them what I wanted done and specifically mentioned the pet odor. The price went up $20 from the quote. Normally it takes about 2 and half hours to clean the same area when I have it done. These guys did it in 45 minutes lol. I went from a pet odor smell to a wet pet odor smell. My aunt had to sleep on that couch the next day I felt horrible about it. I called complained they said for another $79 they would come out and put enzymes on that would kill the smell. Needless to say I didnt do that as i thought for the original $245 that would be included. Also this is my first ever review of a company good or bad that is how disappointed I am with these guys. Honestly felt like they robbed me point blank. Would never reccomend them to anyone. read more

I paid for a two bedroom carpet clean and pet enzyme treatment to be done at an apartment I was ending my lease with. The apartment manager pointed out visible stains, trash, and the continuous odor and stated she would have to deduct money from my deposit to get my carpet cleaned and pet treated again. I spoke to someone from LifeCo, stated my problems, and asked for them to either refund my money or address all listed problems. The person I spoke with lashed out on me, said that my apartment manager and I were expecting brand new carpet and they did the best they could under the circumstances given. He continued to blame the apartment, and stated that the carpet was old and the filters were not changed and that was causing the smell. He also told me that Lifeco doesn't vacuum carpet prior to cleaning them and they have a policy on their website stating that. Everything he said was not accurate,I tried reasoning with him, restating the problem, offering two solutions. He refused again to address all of the problems, and when I told him he did not sound confident in the services he can provide then I would need a refund.
