The consultation went well and Dr. Neil, who was friendly, said they would take care of me. The surgery appointment was made three weeks from that time. The day of the surgery I was a little nervous, as I think is normal. It was successful and has been healing well since. The staff began calling as many surgeons in the area as they could in order to find one in my network and get a benefits verification for me beforehand. This is without me even asking!! They could sense my hesitation and jumped on it. Meanwhile, the dentist massaged my jaw for a good 10 minutes. She called one of her colleagues who's an oral surgeon and got his opinion and i was able to avoid surgery all together thanks to his diagnosis and my dentist's thorough massage. I am so used to begging for care and having to navigate medical situations without assistance. But here, it felt like all hands on were deck to get me care & coverage, and I didn't have to ask for anything. I cannot recommend them enough. This is how healthcare should be.
