She called Steve, left a message explaining how the system would not turn off and if he can come back out or call her back and tell her what to do. No response from Steve. She called a week later, left a message. No response from Steve. Her new watering time is now midnight to 5am. She will have to stay up till midnight to plug in her sprinkler system and set her alarm to get up at 5am to unplug it. I am very disappointed in this company. Taking advantage of my mom. We originally contacted this company for landscaping our property. Their "landscape specialist"…read morecame out and we expressed that we wanted low maintenance plants and no clutter. He said that he was doing landscaping for 20 years and he would make the property look great. He suggested the names of quite a few plants and said he would have them arranged nicely. We asked for an exact diagram of how the yard would be laid out, but he said the software couldn't produce that but that it would look great. We take responsibility for allowing this to continue without at least a sketch. However, the first thing that needed to be done was to check out the sprinkler system, since their plants are guaranteed only if the sprinkler system is checked. They replaced several sprinklers and did install a rain gauge and a new pre-filter on the reclaimed water, but again the invoice was a bit sketchy. We agreed to proceed with their proposal (again our responsibility) only to take a deeper look later and realize that sprinkler heads that are $10 at Home Depot were costing us over $200! Once the sprinklers were done, plants were delivered and laid out. It looked like a lot of plants, but Nate, the "landscape specialist" assured us that some were small and the larger ones were layered behind them, making for a nice presentation. Once they started to grow, the taller ones were up front blocking the view of what was behind it. There were several variations of flowers that, observed as a whole, looked like the median on the interstate. He then came out and had an excuse that the variety of some of the plants were sent incorrectly, changed them out and moved some others. It looked a bit better but still very cluttered. To finish it off, he suggested crushed rock instead of the larger rocks we asked about saying that they are less expensive and would look good. They look like crushed shell and whenever it rains, they float out of the flower beds. Also, there are so many plants that weed control is almost impossible except for hand pulling as the weeds grow amidst the plants. Several calls were made to make this right, and eventually we were told that they supply the plants, we need to take care of the weeds, and we saved money on the smaller rocks. Quite a few Plants died but they were outside the guarantee period. They were not willing to do anything more. We are in the process now of removing many of the plants, raking back the rocks and putting larger ones on top of them. We are not young people and will have to hire someone else to fix mess. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR LANDSCAPING. THE SPRINKLERS WERE OVERPRICED BUT THEY DID GOOD WORK. CUSTOMER SERVICE POOR.

Unfortunately, one line burst last winter, which I believe happened due to poor workmanship. This year, when more lines broke, I called again. He came after 3 days, fixed some heads, and then charged me $385. I don't mind paying $385 if it was clearly quoted before the work, but he told me the amount after finishing and even blamed me for not negotiating beforehand. He also said 5 years warranty, but later did not honor it. My suggestion for future clients: Always get written quotation, written warranty, and receipt copy before and after the job. Otherwise, once work starts, extra charges can be added and it becomes difficult to argue. I had a very bad experience. Maybe others had good service, but I am sharing this to alert everyone.
