I have to make a big deal about getting a refund right then and there. He acts as if he is losing money out of his own pocket, which creates a difficult customer service experience. Also, there have been other times that I've visited this location and a female worker has her kids and all of their friends running in and out. Her interacting with the children takes away from her attention to paying customers. This location, for a lack of a better word is ghetto. I would definitely choose to visit a more customer friendly location if time permits and I don't just need something on the fly.

Jay diagnosed mine and explained everything in plain English without being patronizing. He's very responsive to messages, gave an honest assessment and didn't try to overcharge or upsell me. Javier, the owner, was paid over $7k for labor on an OEM engine rebuild, yet my performance car left the shop with a dead battery and a coolant leak. Not only did the shop owner try to weasel out of the 'warranty' by telling me I would have to pay for a coolant system repair, but he overbilled me. After agreeing on a rate of $125/hr the final bill states $169/hr which created about $1000 profit. Irresponsible comes from leaving my car smelling like shop oil/grease. My car has a dead battery, is leaking coolant, and smells like grease. IF YOU DONT STAND BEHIND YOUR WORK, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS! HONOR YOUR COMMITMENTS. Wow! What a huge disappointment!
