I have been to several med spas over the years and this is the best I've seen. Mr. Gras tells you the truth and doesn't try to scam you of money. He charged me half of what other practitioners have been charging me (I didn't need very many units of botox, so they would say I needed 20 units and then only inject 10). So this review kind of needs to be divided into 2 visits. The first time I received a microdermabrasion. The second time, I received tattoo removal laser treatment. 1st visit - microdermabrasion. My appt was with a youngish tech. She did a very nice facial, her massage was extensive and very relaxing. I did have a problem with being scratched by the product (whatever granular additive is used). This was most likely due to glycolic acid treatments that are unrelated to this office. Luckily we didn't go as heavily as we wanted to. I would totally go back for facials (3.75 stars) 2nd visit - tattoo removal. My tech was awesome. The anesthetic was administered quickly, I was numb within minutes and lasered in less time than the injections. I could have opted for a cream but I'm not afraid of needles and think the cream takes 30-60 minutes to be effective. I really barely felt anything, but my tattoos are under 5 square inches eaches. 5 square inches or less is $100 per treatment!!! The result was a thick bruising of the tissue which was sore but healed perfectly and the migration process seems to be on-schedule with what I was told. (5 stars) read more

I have had terrific experiences at Light Touch. Dr. Gras and Jorge really take their time to answer all of your questions and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Gras is an anesthesiologist, so he is a master at controlling pain and at the same time, achieving beautiful results (he doesn't over-inject and give you a "fake" look). I had an ablative CO2 treatment years ago from another doctor that was so painful, I swore never to do it again. But when Dr. Gras explained to me how he does it, I decided to try it. I had virtually no pain during the procedure (just a little at the hair line) and Dr. Gras was able to give me a much deeper treatment. I also had an erbium treatment that was administered by Jorge, and that, too, was a great experience. Overall, I am thrilled with the results, the follow-up and professionalism of Light Touch and would highly recommend both Dr. Gras and Jorge for your all of your medi-spa needs. read more

A plus. Definitely the best lace for Botox I have ever been and I have been getting Botox for 20 years. George, the receptionist , is amazing and the doctor who does the Botox graduated from Harvard. The office is a beautifully remodeled house with fantastic landscaping. I have never had to wait more than five minutes and while you wait George will offer wine . I went here for the laser hair removal which I had done under my chin and on my neck since I usually get pretty bad razor bumps as a result of shaving. The results where better than I had expected and Jorge was very knowledgeable, straight forward with what to expect, and friendly. I went through four of the eight treatments they recommended with good results but unfortunately I have to find somewhere else to go now since I am moving out of town. We have utilized most of the services on the Menu except for Ta too removal. (We do not have one yet). The prices are very competitive and the accommodations are very comfortable and relaxing. I've only been here for laser hair removal, but it's been fantastic. I can't recommend it enough. The guy that did it (George? Jorge? He pronounced it George, but another reviewer said Jorge, so I don't know) is an extremely pleasant person. I've had it down twice, and both times were much less painful than I expected, very quick, and very effective. They charge by the 15 minutes rather than by "session," which is great for me. I like to get a lot of small areas done, and I can fit a lot of them into 15 minutes. So I think it's a great bargain. I wish I hadn't moved away from North Austin, but I will still trek all the way up there every few months for them. read more

I purchased a Goupon for two laser tattoo removal sessions at Light Touch Aesthetics. My tattoo is about 20 years old, and just a black outline with no color. Two sessions at full strength settings and six months later, there is no change in my tattoo, no fading, no removal, absolutely no visible change. I followed all their instructions and waited patiently to see results. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I was told to wait another two months to talk to the doctor/owner who simply told me they did everything correct and I would have to pay for additional sessions. I feel like I paid $100 for no service at all. I didn't expect my tattoo to be completely dissipated, but I did expect that two laser removal sessions have some kind of visible effect. I don't believe these guys know what they are doing and would strongly recommend that any one searching for a tattoo removal location NOT go to Light Touch Aesthetics. read more
