What a hidden treasure by the beach. Lots of delicious fresh fruits at a low cost. I got some passion fruits, avocados, grapefruit and nectarines. Everything so juicy and flavorful. I missed the mulberry season so I'll be back in spring!

Organic hand picked by my family of Mulberries & Blueberries so delicious and tasted even better when u get to pick them fresh.

Such a fun experience we had and worth the price @ $6 a container to fill so worth it.. we did mulberries and blueberries @ the time we went which was our fist time.. wasn't busy cuz it was peak heat time but made it more enjoyable with like maybe only 6 people picking @ the time we went. Will come back for other fruit when in season.. worth drive and will be coming back. There is a small farm stand with produce.. was limited but got some awesome plums that were left and were so sweet. Also my son loved the cool tree house . Thank you Lighthouse for a great experience and may God bless your farm with abundance. Worth all the sweat and laughter I had today with my family. Much perspective on how are food is grown and picked. :)

What a wonderful little place this community garden is! We've gone to other "local" farms that are gouging customers but this place charges appropriately for organic produce. I bought blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, blueberry jam, and plums and all were delicious! During picking season, you can pick fresh organic blueberries kissed by the sun. As as added bonus, if you have kids with you, they will absolutely love the 'treehouse' on the farm, we stayed for another 30 minutes kids could play!!

    Blueberry picking

Can't say enough good things about this garden. They have a very large blueberry patch which is more like tall bushes and you can get lost in them. My kids had a great time going deep into the blueberry forest and foraging for berries with their friends. What was supposed to be a 1 hour outing turned into 3 hours and I had to bribe them to leave. Icing on the cake is the authentic tree house that is actually built into a large old sturdy tree.

    Mulberry, avocado, peach jam

The hill up to park is a little intimidating but gorgeous views with great service! Delicious mulberries, avocados, peach jam, honey and more. Thank you Robby for your help, will definitely visit again with family

    Tree house sooo cool!

We started the morning at their fresh juice window, and let me tell you: the beet-watermelon juice was incredible. Bright, refreshing, and served in reusable jars, which I absolutely loved. Sustainability isn't just a concept here; you see it in every detail. Next, we had a meditation session inside the dome, which was such a peaceful and centering moment. After that, we walked through the orchards, wandered the land, and just took in the beauty of everything this place cultivates. Lunch was where The Ecology Center truly shined. I'm a person from San Francisco, and I do not say this lightly: this was some of the best sourdough I've ever had. Perfectly chewy, soft, flavorful -- absolutely the real deal. They served it as avocado toast and also topped with fresh eggs, and both versions were phenomenal. The entire farm-to-table menu was next-level. The salads were crisp and thoughtful, every ingredient tasted like it had been picked that morning, and the flavors were paired with such care. The sourdough tarts we had for dessert were out of this world -- bright, tangy, and beautifully balanced. We even got to meet the chef, who was warm, talented, and clearly passionate about what she creates. You can taste that love in every bite. This was an epic meal and an unforgettable experience. If you want to truly taste what food is supposed to taste like -- fresh, intentional, and deeply connected to the land -- The Ecology Center should be at the top of your list.

The energy is spectacular. they have Friday night farm-to-table dinners, outdoor performances and live music, yoga and meditation in the dome, a market with all their produce and made on-site hot sauces and fermented items, and the star of the show: a regenerative organic farm (the only one in SoCal, might I add!) I came here for the strawberry picking experience and loved every second of it. Two minutes in, I was having so much fun! This space draws me close to what I want to be doing in this life. I'll absolutely be volunteering here and seeing what else will be added to such a beautiful place! I highly recommend the Ecology Center.

They consistently carry some of the best-quality produce currently available from San Diego and the surrounding areas, thoughtfully curated with real care. Misses are rare, and when something isn't right, they always make it right. What really sets this place apart is the knowledgeable team. They can tell you not just what something is, but where it's from, why it's special, and even how best to prepare it if it's new to you. They know which watermelon varietals are sweetest (and why), which tomatoes are best for different uses, and how to guide you toward the best choice of the day. We also appreciate the simplicity of the space. It's clear the focus is on quality produce rather than unnecessary overhead or décor that doesn't add to flavor or nutrition. We come in knowing our weekly staples, and we always look forward to discovering a surprise treat or seasonal treasure to add to the basket. We recently lived in Spain for a year and deeply miss the fruterías found on every corner, places that genuinely support daily health and well-being. In the U.S., truly good produce can be harder to find, with so much emphasis on mass production and appearance over flavor and nutrition. The Fruit Stand comes as close as we've found to that European produce experience. We're grateful this place exists and grateful for the care they put into what they offer.
