My sweet tooth struck while I was on a mini vacation in South Padre Island, so I searched for a…read morebakery and stumbled upon this little gem. I walked in thinking I'd grab a cookie or two, but the moment I saw the display, all self-control disappeared. The selection was incredible, so instead of choosing, I ordered one of each of their 10 cookie flavors--and added two duplicates to make it an even dozen. Knowing it would take some time to work my way through the box, I started with the Lemon and the Butter Cake. Let's just say...the bar for cookies has been raised and southern meemaws now have a worthy adversary. These cookies check every box of what a truly exceptional cookie should be: perfectly baked, rich in flavor, texturally sound, and downright unforgettable. Every bite was satisfying and gave classic cookies an eclectic twist without being over the top. I'll be thinking about these cookies for years to come.

It was hot outside, but the inside was cool, welcoming, and had little touches that reminded me of Christmas and winter. Even though it's summer, it instantly made me crave hot chocolate and freshly baked cookies! The cookies were absolutely incredible--warm, soft, and perfectly baked. Paired with the ice cream, it was easily one of the best desserts I've had in a long time. If you're in South Padre, don't skip this place. It's comforting, delicious, and somehow feels just like home. We'll definitely be back! service was awesome! The ladies were quick, friendly and welcoming especially since it was busy they were still 100% nice and warm

Came here because the coffee looks amazing and it did not disappoint!…read more The latte and cappuccinos look visually appealing but if you're looking for a real cappuccino this might not be for you. It definitely seems like they just put a bunch of foam on top but it still tasted good. The waffle is also crispy and fluffy. The salon lox bagel is also so pretty but the large onion slices were too much. Service was great and they do get really busy.

I arrived around 10:30am on a Friday, and although the restaurant was packed, was seated immediately at the bar. Our server greeted me promptly, took my drink order, and returned with my Spanish Macchiato. It was easily the highlight of the meal--absolutely five-star worthy. Not only was it Instagram-worthy, but it tasted just as good as it looked. Creamy, rich, and infused with notes of Mexican chocolate and cinnamon, it was one of the best specialty coffees I've had in a while and the artistry was incredible. For brunch, I ordered the CLEO (a lox bagel with egg) and the SPI Breakfast Platter. The CLEO had great flavors--the smoked salmon was fresh. My biggest critique was that the soft bagel, warm egg, and lox lacked a bit of textural contrast. Even so, the individual components were delicious. The SPI Breakfast Platter was hearty, well-executed, and exactly what you'd hope for from a classic breakfast. I'd love to come back the next time I'm in South Padre and try their lunch menu, the dessert case was very enticing.
