I am 21 and have been coming to this place since I was 3. It is me and my family's favorite ice cream place and always the first stop when we come down to padre. They have so many different options of flavors and toppings. Birthday cake is my all time favorite flavor anywhere, but here it is the absolute best (they have real pieces of cake in it and the ice cream itself has a birthday cake flavor). My mom and grandma also adore the coconut almond flavor and my brother is obsessed with the frost flavor. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to padre. read more

We LOVE gelato and were hopeful, but they use low quality ingredients and while good gelato is very rich and creamy, this was ICY and flavors just ok. They do have a ton of flavors available (and some are very creative). With 5 people in our group I tried several flavors and the pistachio was my favorite and Nutella the runner up. The workers let me sample a few different flavors and although I didn't really like any, I ended up getting a scoop because it felt rude not getting one. My biggest complaint isn't with the ice cream though, it's with the place. It was extremely hot in there, hot to the point where I was sweating and the ice cream was melting. If I could select no stars I would. I called to make sure they were open and there close time was correct before driving down. Some guy answered the phone and just blew into the receiver a few times then hung up. Figured he had a bad connection. We drove down knowing that someone was there at least. Service was unfriendly and stale. The chocolate ice cream tasted imitation. Like cheap chocolate sprinkles that were in your grandmas pantry for 15 years. The waffle cone was stale and most likely been sitting out from previous day. Not fresh at all. This is all on top of finding a hair stuck to the side of the cone after two or three unsatisfying bites. Stay away, stay away! Go to the dollar general and get something there before here!!
