This place is hands down the best! We were lucky enough to make it back with our kids this go around. My kids got chocolate chip and cookies and cream cookies with vanilla ice cream with brownie bites on one side and m&ms on the other. They were skeptical about sharing but after one bite they understood! Husband and I had Cookie Monster and gooey cake batter cookies with bear batter ice cream (I was skeptical on his ice cream choice) but, it was delicious! Our favorite stop as a family!

While visiting SPI with my family me and my son noticed this place and we've been there before but in Austin and we loved it. Can't wait to come back and visit again

I can't remember the exact ice cream flavors we chose, but I definitely remember the experience. The service was great--they were patient with us since it was our first time visiting, and even let us sample several options before we made our choices. The establishment itself is small with limited indoor seating, but they do have a few outdoor spots if you want to sit and enjoy your treats. Parking was decent depending on the time of day, though it can get tricky because of the busy restaurant next door. As for the ice cream and cookies--they were very good and absolutely massive. Honestly, sharing is probably the way to go!

Man came in here late. Staff was welcoming happy smiling super helpful. Being already full from dinner there was no feeling of being rushed. These cookies as my coworker says are "gas" lol I had the Cookie Monster and we had a samich with one Nutella cc and a cc with mud pie

My daughters asked me what The Baked Bear as we passed it on our way to a nearby restaurant. Right before I signed my check at the restaurant, I did a quick Yelp review of the custom ice cream shop. An immediate "yes, please!" was the response I got from both girls when I asked if she should check it out before we headed to our hotel. 1 Cookie Sandwich = $10.50 I understand that at around 9:30 pm they are going to be out of cookies. No stars knocked off for that. The major pitfall for me was repeating my order twice and having two employees try to talk to me at once. Otherwise, they were friendly and fast. We didn't stand in line for long. TIP Show them your checked into Facebook & receive a free cookie! RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4

Delicious ice cream and cookies. The service was great even while being busy. 10/10 would recommend.

Ambiance is quick service. The service was very friendly and let us try a few of the ice cream flavors. Overall, only a mid place to get dessert with other places better on the island. They were out of a lot of cookies when we arrived on a Saturday at opening time and honestly, for $20 for two people, get more for your money elsewhere.

Cute but small ice cream shop. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Seating inside is small, but there is outside seating available. They offer a decent selection of ice cream flavors.

$10 per ice cream sandwich is a little pricey but the taste made up for it. Absolutely delicious and fully customizable. I am in love you can mix the brownies and cookies! Would have went twice if it was a little cheaper but over $20 for two people for dessert is a lot.

If you've never had a custom ice cream sandwich from The Baked Bear, stop what you're doing and go. This place takes indulgence to the next level in the best way possible. The second you walk in, you're greeted by the heavenly smell of fresh-baked cookies and waffles, and the hardest decision you'll have to make all day: which combo of cookies and ice cream to go with! Everything is made fresh--warm, gooey cookies (yes, they really warm them up for you), premium ice cream with tons of flavors to choose from, and creative toppings that take it over the top. I went with a chocolate chip and funfetti cookie sandwich stuffed with brownie batter ice cream and rolled in Oreo crumbles... and WOW. It was rich, nostalgic, and so worth every single bite. The staff is super friendly and patient (which is a blessing when you're overwhelmed with delicious options), and the vibe inside is fun and playful--perfect for families, date nights, or just treating yourself after a long day. The Baked Bear doesn't just serve desserts--they serve experiences. From the quality of the ingredients to the fun of building your own dream sandwich, this place knows how to make people smile. I'm already planning my next visit... and I'm bringing friends!

I like the concept of this place; wrapping some ice cream in two cookies of your choice. Please note this place was on and popping in the evening. The serving sizes were huge and big enough to share, which we did. We ordered several different sandwiches to try a little bit of everything. The sandwiches IMO were fine, but nothing overly fantastic. Maybe because I'm a parent, I thought it was overwhelming in everything, cookie, ice cream, etc. The kids raved about this place because it was all types of sugar. Overall, it's a cute place to try if you're looking to fill that super sweet tooth or to appease a group of kids.

This was our first time going to The Baked Bear. When we entered we saw the menu and started to figure out what we needed to do. We were then greet by the nicest employee who explained everything to us. We had options to pick different cookies if we wanted to make a sandwich, but you can also put ingredients in a bowl. We were even offered samples of the ice cream next. And if you like, you can have the cookies heated up. We all picked to go with the cookie ice cream sandwich and added toppings around. We then found a seat to test out our creations. They cookies were delicious and big. We ate half there and took the other home for later. The cookies and ice cream froze well. Also, the location was extremely clean and welcoming. There may be a little line out the door, but it is worth it!

The rest of the experience was just OK... Cafe Karma is a coffee/breakfast/light lunch spot, serving coffee, teas, juices, soft drinks, and the like. Food consists of breakfast bakery (muffins, pastries) and cooked items, light snacks like quiche and croissants, and ice cream. We had lattes (per usual). Temp was great but the coffee itself was just OK, not the best. For food we had the turkey quiche and the omelette muffin. The quiche was bland, overcooked. The muffin was much better, and was definitely the better of the two selections. Staff were friendly, service was quick! With all the coffee shop options available in SPI, not sure we'd go back. Do not recommend IMHO...

This review is really only based on the overall experience since the coffee was good: Pros: 1. My coffee order. Vanilla latte- strong and not too sweet. The cup makes a cute photo moment (pictured) 2. The baristas who took my order & made my coffee, they were nice given the circumstances (see below) Cons: 1. There was a family with (no exaggeration) 10+ children ordering before us and it was chaotic the second we walked in. The place was already packed, so it was overwhelming to say the least. I have no issues with children, as they were just being children. It was the lack of social awareness, control, & organization from the parents. Ice cream/coffee orders were being shouted in all directions, orders being changed multiple times, etc. It took so long for us to even order...and then an additional wait because they had ordered so much. I know it's not the establishment's fault, I'm just being honest about my experience. Maybe there should be a limit on how many people are able to crowd the front since it's a small space? I felt bad for the workers, they did a great job keeping it cool and professional. 2. There was a group of "Christian" men who seemed like they had a long meeting. They were having a very loud and racist brain rot induced discussion about their views on how diversity and inclusion are ruining this country. I've seen comments like that online and always assumed it was bots...was flabbergasted to actually hear it in person that was frustrating. Again, not the establishment's fault. But as a person of color myself, including the baristas, it was just very uncomfortable and wild to experience. It seemed like they felt too comfortable being that bold in there and that's suspicious to me. I literally chose this shop to avoid another notoriously racist coffee shop with a politically aggressive owner on the island! 3. The bathroom was gross. I can only give this place 2 stars only for the coffee and service. The workers all did a fantastic job, seriously give them a raise! However, we left overstimulated and extremely annoyed. Not sure if I'll ever be back. Hey, at least the coffee was good.
