This is the WORST self storage place in ALL of Orange County!!! #1 VERY POORLY MANAGED...we have been with this storage center since it opened OVER 5 YEARS AGO, and for years it was ran well with SMART employees running day to day operations....Then came the HORRIBLE management team of George and Jennifer....the rent went WAY up, the service was terrible and I honestly think they could care less... #2 ILLEGAL RENT HIKES!!! Watch out, they will increase the rent 2 or 3 times in a year WITHOUT NOTIFICATION!!! When challenged about the required notification they answered with "corporate office hasn't sent the notices out yet!!??! WHAT??? First off, you can't increase the rent without proper notification!! When a letter was finally sent out about the rent increase (2 months later) it was from Beach Blvd Storage with George's signature on it (not some "corporate office memo")....what a joke! #3 POOR OUALITY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS The cinderblock that was used for the walls was of such POOR QUALITY that water and salts leached thru them and DESTROYED a very expensive Heywood Wakefield bed, various boxes of vintage clothing and two boxes of collectable books. When we asked about compensation because THEIR WALLS LEAKED we were told "Sorry, you signed a paper waiving B.B.S. of liability" REALLY?!?!? What's the point of a storage center that can't (or won't) protect your valuables!!! Do yourself a favor....DO NOT make the mistake of renting a unit here, you will be treated poorly, your stuff destroyed and the aggravation of trying to deal with the incompetent staff will make your head hurt!!! As my 4+ years here is coming to an end, it's bitter sweet to say goodbye.I've recommended friends and family over the years. I've NEVER had a problem. It's clean and professional. I've made friends with the all of the branches that would co sub here and developed a special relationship with the then co manager/ now manager Betty. I could of moved months ago, but the customer service is what kept me staying a little longer. I can still visit since my relative still has a unit :) This storage is fair and doesn't screw you over. It's better pricing than the competitors and great security. I would come back here if I ever need a unit again. read more

i'm extremely grateful to anna! she was seriously helpful & trusting! she was also seriously easy to deal with when i had a very bizarre situation happen & still took my info. on phone & held a unit for me! i didn't have a clue what size i needed & she didn't put me in some big unit that cost more... size was perfect! they also had an awesome deal i didn't know about but anna told me & i was able to save alot of money! units vary, mine was basic and clean area always! they also do a walk through and lock check in case you forgot to lock yours that way you don't get robbed! Lighthouse stands out and above the 5-6 other storage facilities that I had toured before I moved here a month ago. first of all the staff is very pleasant and nice to talk to you and always an upbeat mood and the place is cleaner than I've ever seen a storage facility it is really really well done well organized and maintained.
