In the planning process he was relaxed and prepared, needed very little of us, but was also willing to take whatever instruction we asked for, and was a calming, confident presence on our wedding day. We hit him with a somewhat last minute, very strange request to sample lines from our favorite SNL skit and work them into the dancefloor music, assuming he would think we were crazy, but he enthusiastically had the audio pulled within days and went above and beyond mixing a custom song for us with the SNL audio. A week before the wedding we asked for a disco ball and he found a way to borrow one at no extra cost to us. He was also a wonderful MC, which was a more significant element of the day than we anticipated. He was so active on the day of, constantly monitoring volume levels, crowd mood and reaction, etc., adjusting volume of the mic on my groom for when he was speaking versus when I was speaking a few feet away from the mic - it was all flawlessly executed. We were very torn between having a live band and a DJ, and were so incredibly happy that we chose Braden. We highly highly recommend him!

But he enlisted help, got things set up and stayed all night. Towards the end of a night another DJ came to help him, but Steve never left and I'm fairly certain his injury was no joke. We couldn't have made a better choice for our wedding, he was the most reliable DJ I have ever heard about! Hugh touched base the week of the wedding and we went over all the details in the form. I made most of my own playlists and had specific artists I wanted to hear, and Hugh delivered on all of it. The ceremony music played without a hitch, the cocktail hour/dinner music was exactly me and my husband's taste, and he played songs from my playlist for dancing without straying from what I chose. Weather and some venue issues meant that we had to give Nate some last minute changes, and he just rolled with the punches. Nate was by far our least problematic vendor and actively helped us out when our other vendors messed up. Our food got delayed, which pushed dinner back. My wife and I didn't have any ideas on how to fill the time because everyone was already seated for dinner when we got the news. Nate came up to us and suggested we play "the Shoe Game" which he already had prepared. It was a massive hit and I had multiple people come up to me afterwords and tell us that they are going to do it at their wedding! Nate also crushed it with the music on the dance floor. I gave him a playlist to work off, and he made it way better. The transitions were smooth and he played exactly the music we were looking for. He did a great job with requests too. At the end of the night, I remembered a song I wanted to listen to, but we only had time for the final song. Nate managed to play basically the entire last song and still stuck in the song that I had requested at the very end. It was such an awesome way to end the night! TLDR; Book Nate!!
