Andy's team cleaned my windows last week, and.. WOW! I haven't had them done professionally for a few years for budget reasons, but, boy is it worth it to have it done right. They absolutely sparkle. It's a pleasure to deal with these guys. Andy picked up the phone when I called and I was scheduled promptly. The guys came on time and were careful both in and out of the house. We had a service man to our home today to wash our windows and screens. He arrived on time, introduced himself and said he would start outside. He removed the screens, washed the windows outside and inside. He was quiet, worked swiftly and neatly. He worked for 4 hours. packed away his supplies and wished us a good day. I had several conversations with Andy Brown late last year about moss eradication on our roof. I never heard back from him though he said he would return my calls. I tried again this year, about a month ago, and Andy again told me he would return my call. He never did. I finally found another company that did an outstanding job. Maybe Lightstream does a terrific job, but I will never know given I couldn't get them to set up an appointment. read more

We've had Andy Brown and Lightstream clean our windows and gutters going on almost 5 years now. They are great, responsive, and very professional. He always is able to get to our house within just a few days of my calling to request their services, they show up on time and do a fantastic job at really good rates. Our house is a four story house with crazy windows, angles, and scary to reach high places, but they do even these extreme large windows at high heights with ease. I do make a point to let them know to be careful with the landscaping when they use ladders outside and they always follow my instructions. I definitely recommend these guys! read more

I have work with Andy and Lightstream for over 10 years. We have a house right on the bay looking towards SF and when the windows are clean it really shows and makes the house. Andy's crew comes by every other month to get the bay muck, dog slobber and kids finger prints off the windows and takes care of the gutters each year. We have a challenging atrium on the second floor and they handle it like pros. My dog loves it when they come because of the personal attention they give to her. Not once has she gotten out while they have worked on our house and they have even filled up her water bowl when it was low. They are trust worthy to the point where I let them in and feel fine about leaving the house to get back to work while they work. Plus, they do great work on cleaning and repairing my chandelier. During the summer months they are in high demand so you may get a bit of a wait. That's ok! They are worth it! read more

I regularly use Lightstream's services at my house and a large, architecturally complicated rental I manage. The service is so fast and effective that I will never again try to clean my own windows. Andy Brown, the business owner, is very knowledgeable and easy to work with, and the crews are quiet and unobtrusive while they work. It's like they were never there -- except your windows are perfect. There was once a complaint from some neighbors that some of the debris from my gutters had hit the windows of their house when Lightstream's crew was cleaning. I don't know whether the complaint was legit or not, but Andy had a crew out immediately to clean the neighbor's windows facing my house, free of charge, just to keep the peace. read more

This past November Lightstream cleaned our gutters, as usual. Nathan, who led the crew, came to my door afterward to let me know that there were 2 holes on our roof. He told me where they were and the approximate size of them. Later, it occurred to me that perhaps they were the entry point for a roof rat problem we had/have? I waited a month for a pest control contractor who couldn't get up there bc his ladder isn't long enough. Turns out all pest control contractors I called won't go up there bc their ladders aren't high enough. They suggested a roofer. None have returned my call about this tiny roofing job except the roofer who did our roof a decade ago. I waited another month for an opening in his schedule. He came but he says they don't do carpentry, only roofs, and rats wouldn't eat into asphalt shingles. In desperation, I called Andrew at Lightstream again. He returns calls and services the Bay Area doing both the best window washing I've ever had done as well as downspout and gutter cleaning. He and his crew show up at the appointed time and get the job done quickly, quietly and without leaving a mess behind. In fact, you really can't even tell the guys have been there but for the spotlessly clean windows. Andy stays at the job location monitoring progress from start to finish - he is available and watches his crew like a hawk. They tailor their service to fit your needs - inside or outside windows, upstairs, downstairs, whatever. He even called me the night before as there was a 50% prediction of rain to see if I wanted to proceed or not. I live in a 2 story craftsman on a busy (read dirty, smoggy) street and the upstairs mullioned windows were filthy, and hard to get to . Lightstream said "no problem" gave me a fair quote, and when they showed up, they threw in washing several window screens without extra charge. Finally, I have used him over and over the past few years with consistent seamless performance. He's not cheap, but let me tell ya, you get what you pay for!
