My daughter had the Hawaiian poke which they advise is "salty" and she really enjoyed it. I had the shoyu ginger and it was perfectly seasoned. The favorite poke I had during my visit! We had it bookmarked but didn't realized it was also featured on Triple Ds. It's in a small food cart pod but don't let that deceive you. The staff here was wonderful as we came up and recommended we get the poke combo with the shoyu wasabi and spicy sauces. I usually don't like a creamy sauce but it was my favorite of the two just with the flavors and how it was with the fish. Don't get me wrong I highly recommend the shoyu wasabi too since it gives you the sweet style with that extra kick. I didn't expect it and wow did it come through (in a good way). Very disappointing. I read all the reviews and was excited for some fresh, authentic poke. So my family rushed over immediately after landing in Maui! The line was slightly long and finding a table was super easy. The truck is located in a small lot with four other trucks and many tables in the center. I shared a Combo poke bowl with shoyu wasabi poke and spicy siracha poke. Other members of my family got the shoyu wasabi hurricane and ahi katsu. Firstly, the price was way too expensive for the portion and quality. Although the raw poke was fresh, it was about the quality of what you'd get at Tamura's and the flavoring was very diluted/hard to taste. The fried poke was also over cooked and dry. One of the original OG food trucks, Like Poke has found a nice spot located in the up and coming hip town of Wailuku. Their new area, next to Dolish and Haute Doggs has easy access parking located right in back. I've had their poke before which is my favorite on island. Today I decided to try their Ahi Katsu which did not disappoint. I could see why it's a favorite for so many. I also tried the poke nacho's which had a great ratio of poke to chip. And who can turn down fries, let alone hurricane fries. Food is always good and so is customer service. Prices are fair as the price of fish has really sky rocketed in the past few years. My only wish, is that the poke would be cut smaller. It's really rare to find a place that takes the time to do it, but it makes it so much better. I saw this place on Yelp and wanted to try it when in Maui recently. We went looking for the shrimp truck and Like Poke? happen to be in the same area as the shrimp truck. Since I had already placed an order for a shrimp plate, I didn't want to get too much here but still wanted to try it. I got the fried ahi katsu and fried poke to try. I asked for the aioli on the side. They put the ailoli on top of my fish even though the person who took my order repeated my order back to me. We were told by 2 locals this morning to check out the food trucks by Costco...and here we are! I love poke and I saw a small line outside the food truck, so I decided to try. After seeing the fried poke on DDD, we wanted to try it while on Maui. We thought the fish wouldn't be completely cooked all the way because that's what they implied in the episode, but that wasn't the case. It was completely cooked through and a little dry. We probably went around 1030-1045 and not many food trucks were open. Look up Kahului Food Trucks. Location: Right across from Costco, and a less than 10 minute drive from the airport (OGG). Parking: Dirt road. Good amount of spots to park your cars. Seating: This place is food truck central! So just imagine tables in the middle of a circle with the food trucks all around. They even have hand washing stations, too! Okay back to the food... Price: They are pretty pricey and the owner or employee will admit to it. I think I remember hearing how fish is getting expensive now. Service: It was okay. Food trucks are meant to be fast pace. So I suggest you study the menu on your own prior to ordering so you don't feel rushed cos tbh, we didn't really know how or what to order. We ended up getting their Poke Bowl Combo which included two choices of poke. We chose Hawaiian and Shoyu Wasabi, Not going to lie though... the portions are HUGE! Man nothing like some poke in Hawaii, and this place cannot be beat! THE PORTIONS ARE AMAZING!!! My boyfriend and I decided to share since it was our last stop before heading to the airport. We got the Poke Bowl which comes with two scoops of rice, 1/2lb of poke, and served on a bed of greens. We decided on the Shoyu Wasabi style which is a sweet style with a hint of wasabi. IT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I am usually not a huge wasabi fan but this was perfect and didn't give me that sting that goes all the way up to my brain lol but it was definitely a lot a lot of food. We did not need half a pound but it was delish. I do wish they had the rice with the nori and sesame seeds, I feel like they do offer that but I didn't see it on the menu anywhere. We stopped here on the 4th right after we landed and got our bags. There's a bunch of food trucks in a little parking lot right around the corner from the airport. We hit a bunch of them up for a variety of eats, this one, Like Poke? was the best. Easily the best fresh poke and style of it I've ever had. Man was it good. He didn't use green onions but used some other type of veggie and onions, then put it over a bed of romaine lettuce with a few different light sauces, the flavor profile and quality of the ahi was so damn good. Furikake fries were excellent too. I'd probably not order them together next time as that mix itself wouldn't be my first choice after eating both that day. But they were very good nonetheless. Heard a lot of good things about Like Poke from our endless exploration of Maui related reddit posts and food blogs. We had about an hour to kill before our flight back to the mainland, so we decided to hit up some of the popular Maui foodtrucks that usually set up shop near the Costco in Kahuli. We tried the Ahi poke cup with Shoyu Wasabi and hands down this was some of the freshest fish we have tested in the Island! This is considering we had some fancy poke the night before in Lahaina at one of the only $$$$ restaurants on the North West of Maui. At $10, the cup had about 1/4lb of fresh Ahi marinated with their cream based wasabi sauce and beautifully served with fresh microgreens on the side in a cheap, recyclable plastic cup. Highly recommended for the budget travelers. Just wish the staff was friendlier like everyone else on the island. read more

We always stop at this food truck pod after getting off the plane and I have seen but never tried this place. After our last trip to Maui I saw this truck on DDD and knew it looked familiar.
