    Curry Goat w/ white rice

I've been here several times. The food here is too good. First time I came, I tried the OxTail. Fire! Then the next time, the jerk chicken. Fire! Fried chicken is really good and so was the curried goat. The baked was the last thing I tried and it was excellent. The food here hits every time. The people are nice and the place is good enough to sit down and eat. Will be coming back!

Lawd I know oxtail expensive half y'all remembering when oxtail was $6 lb it's not anymore. I refuse to pay any where near $40 for a plate. Like I seen at other places for that I'd stay home and cook. For the price of what you're paying at liks it's worth it to be honest. The oxtails are tender seasoned nice gravy and not to much beans. White rice is white rice if u mess that up you shouldn't have a restaurant. I'm not a cabbage fan in general Likes cabbage is more al dente and not soft and mushy. The plantains are fried on the darker side, how I like them. The Mac and cheese was my least favorite it lacked cheese and flavor it was more like Macaroni pie than Mac and cheese and I feel like I taste sazon in the pasta. Truth be known Mac and cheese isn't a JA thing. The service was cool the lady was pleasant and my order was ready when I got there.

Home cooked... helpful staff. Definitely will go back. Tried oxtails w/beans and rice. Need to try brown stew chicken and something with jerk. Owner let me sample jerk pork to test my heat tolerance. Will probably dive into the chicken next time.

Their curry goat was to die for. We needed a spot like this in Dania beach. Super sweet people with delicious Jamaican food!

    jerk chicken entree

The food was incredible and the value for price was just as amazing! The jerk chicken was super flavorful and tender, and was so delicious with the yellow rice, cabbage, and peas. The owner is also SO SWEET and wonderful - I can't wait to go back - such a great find and lovely atmosphere as well!

What a gem of a restaurant!!! If you're in the area and on the look for some great food I highly recommend Liks to you then. The food was delicious, I forgot to take a picture but I ordered curry chicken which came with rice and beans, cabbage and plantains... it was absolutely delicious; the perfect blend of savory and a little spicy quick to it. Me and my mom shared the plate and we loved it. The ambiance is very pleasant just like the staff! We'll be back for more!

Jerk chicken is very tasty with a whole heap of food

Great tasty Jamaican dishes. Servings are large and delicious. Just 1.8 miles from the fort Lauderdale international airport, one block east of I95 on Sheridan street.

Food was delicious, from appetizer to main entree. Recommendations were made and I went with all of them. Pork belly chunks that were seasoned with salt and pepper, and lemon was added afterward for a little more punch in the flavor. Shrimp creole was delicious. The red beans and rice mix makes you want to keep having more and mixing it all together gives you a flavorful punch in your mouth. Mofongo, aka , masked green plantains are only for those looking for something a little dry with flavor. Mines had steak and it was drizzled with mojito sauce and oil. Our server was excellent and recommended flipping it over to have the juice flow into the mofongo which she went ahead and did.. steak was well done and when mixed in had a great combination of flavor.. Ambiance feels like a local P.R spot, flags, art, music, and very fun ambiance. Enjoyed it. Definitely when I'm in the area will come again..

The food was mixed . - Alcapurrias : 5 stars crunchy, juicy, proper size and flavor. - pork chunks mofongo: 4 stars, great flavor. Huge pork portion. - shrimp mofongo creole sauce: 3 stars sauce was on the saltier side and once it reached the bottom of the mongo it was "just too much" - churrasco (kids): 3 stars. A bit overcooked (kid refused to eat it) but it was decent flavor and tenderness. - beans: 3 stars, too salty - white rice : 1 star, felt dry and grainy like day old rice from the fridge.

I ordered the Boulette(Haitian meatballs) which was my first time trying it actually, and it was literally the best food I've ever had!! It was so flavorful and delicious my taste buds didn't know what just happened. It wasn't crumbly and the structure held up well. Pair it with the chicken gravy that's provided and I promise you won't regret it. I also got Diri Jon Jon (black rice) which is very easy to mess up by the way. But she managed to not only cook it perfectly but kept it moist and not dry. Now I ordered some Haitian Mac and Cheese which was forgotten so I had to go back and get it, but again one of the most flavorful dishes I've tried! The turkey was fried a little too hard for my liking, and the black rice could have used a bit more flavor, but everything was still good. I also got the passion fruit drink, which was amazing. I would definitely go back just for that. I was too hungry and forgot to take photos Overall, I would recommend this place.

It's located inside a nearby mall, which turned out to be high-end and really beautiful. We grabbed an Uber and headed over. The food absolutely hit the spot. We ordered three bowls with jerk chicken and rice and another bowl with curry chicken and spicy rice. Everything was fantastic and the portions were generous--definitely worth the price. When we ordered they had just served their last portion of oxtail, which was a bit of a bummer because that's what I originally wanted. But while we were eating, I noticed the line never stopped and the server was constantly plating food. That's always a great sign that a place is doing something right. They actually did replenish the oxtail shortly after... but by then we were already full. We also grabbed a rum cake and it was a 1000 out of 10. Must try! The only downside is that it's located inside the mall. It would be amazing to experience the full vibe in a standalone restaurant setting with maybe an even larger menu. But clearly they're doing something right because the line never stopped the entire time we were there. Highly recommend!
