They have lots of vegan options from veggie chickn, veggie beef, veggie shrimp, tofu, and soy chunks. They also have a wide variety of ital vegan dishes which contain no soy and are all natural. I've tried the curried chickpeas before and that was really delicious. On this particular occasion I got the Szechuan soy chunks with fried rice on the side. There is an up charge of about $4 I believe if you want fried rice instead of regular rice and peas. It was pretty delicious and spicy. I've also gotten the Szechuan tofu which was good, but the tofu is quite dense. Moderately priced. This plate and one of the bottled juices was $21. The meal is quite big so you'll definitely have leftovers. I think this is a perfect option for vegans/plant based eaters that crave Caribbean flavors. read more

I honestly love this place. Been coming here for years on my visits during spring break so now that I've relocated - I can indulge more frequently. The space is a small mom & pops with a dining area. It seems to be very family oriented as far as the staff, who are nice and very efficient when it comes to serving. They have fresh juices which I love - sorrel and soursop being my favs. I've tried a variety of dishes, from their Rasta pasta, to jerk salmon & chicken, veggies & chickpeas etc. All super flavorful! The portions are heavy but I'm not against having leftovers that taste just as good the next day. I brought a few friends that are native to the Caribbean on a couple occasions and they said this was the most authentic they've tasted on this side of town (since I don't have anything to compare it to) but a win is a win! read more

I ordered rice and peas over the phone, when I came to pickup the lady said $3.00, I said that was unusual, when I asked her to add the oxtails gravy she made a face and sucked her teeth, so when she said that if I wanted a bigger portion I should have ordered the large, I didn't order the large because of her attitude and I'm glad I didn't because the rice was horrible, no taste and dry. One of my husband's favorite restaurants to go to when in town. My first time trying it and I totally see why. Never heard of or had Conch Fried Rice before. Fry Rice was not too hard or soft- perfect texture. Flavorful and not too salty. Nice portions of Conch and they give generous quantity. I ate from it three times. Also, tried the curry lobster which I wasn't impressed. Pieces of the lobster was hard and not that flavorful. I felt it was too expensive for the amount I got. Definitely can pass on it. My husband's curry shrimp dinner to me was just ok. I felt it could be more flavorful. Portion amount was good tho. Kinda pricey tho. He also ordered the chicken soup which I tried as well. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. Hits the spot when you want something warm on your tummy. Great appetizer before your meal too. Only thing I wasn't a fan of the wheat flour dumplings.
