Came here for Wine Wednesday, which is a new event at this African inspired, Eden themed restaurant. First off, the decoration is 10/10, if Eden was a place, you're there. They have a beautiful private back room that is surrounded by a big screen and makes you feel like you are in the scene. The wine education and tasting was fun. The host/owner described each wine with a pairing and explained everything in a fun matter, it felt like an experiment. After the tasting, we a sample board of bites; croquettes, steak, etc. The tasting runs around $50 and it is totally worth it. Great for a girls night out, bachelorette party, date night or just a good time. read more

First things first, this restaurant is beautiful! The jazz music they were playing added a good vibe, not too loud. The service was great from the moment we walked in. Had a reservation and was seated right away. The only thing we did not like was the lemonade. We asked if it was fresh, we were told yes, they make it at the bar.....tasted like a powder or something. Not a fan. Now, let's get to the best part lol....the food was very tasty. This was was a lovely find. The food is delicious and could be considered a bit pricey but was worth it. The staff does a great job of making sure your ok and enjoying everything, the vibe has an intimate and ambiance. Only thing I didn't like was the view from inside looking out at what seems like a junkyard across the street, it was very distracting. TLDR: good food, a bit pricey, grass wall vibes, Black owned. I'll give this place a four because the food was actually pretty good, and the server did what she could to accommodate us. However, the way the food came out was off. A couple of people got their entrées before we even got our appetizers, and some people ordered salads which should have come out with the appetizers at least. The place looks nice, lots of the grass wall vibes, it's pretty clean, and we came on a Saturday afternoon when it wasn't too busy. However, we made our reservation thinking that it was going to be in the room with the projection of the waterfall on the walls and floors, and they just sat us at a regular table. When making the reservation it wasn't very clear where we would be seated, so I think we just assumed that we were reserving for the projection room. When we got there, that's when they told us that we would've had to have a minimum number of guest and pay minimum price in order to be in that particular room ($800 weekdays, $1000 weekends, about 20 guests max). However, after we ate, we walked past the room... and I think our table was actually a better choice. Just think of a small room that says it could fit 20 people, but would probably accommodate 10 at best, no windows or view of the restaurant, just four walls with a projection of a waterfall on the walls and floors. Back to the food: the pricing was also a bit off. Four fried shrimp for $20 is actually insane lol w/ that coconut shrimp appetizer. The waitress told us it would be five shrimp, but it ended up only being four, and even then, $4 per shrimp is still a little crazy. But the flavor was all there. It was really tasty. I ordered the steak bites or whatever it's called off of the light bites menu, three of us ordered jollof rice dish, and one ordered the salmon pasta. All our food was pretty good, and made fresh, though my steak was a bit tough (perfect for you well-done psychopaths lol I'm a medium-well girlie). I'm not sure I would come back here, seems like a typical overpriced South Florida grass wall restaurant, which seems to be the running theme with a lot of these Black owned places. I hate that it has to be like this for us, I know they're just trying to make their money, but these prices are ridiculous. But, the food is good. Delicious Jollof rice. read more

This place can get away with a lot because the flavors and taste of their food was just so delicious!! Tonight we had a pretty waiter with longer hair I wish I could remember her name we just left, she was super nice but not very knowledgeable on the menu. She was supposed to come back and confirm something for me before bringing it out but it was busy so she must have forgotten. Checking it for my reservation we were standing at the front in the doorway for a few minutes I'm not even sure why. When we were seated the waiter was patient and gave us time to look at the menu. We ordered a starter and drinks. Then we all ordered our mains and my main came out before the starter and my flight drinks didn't come out under I was done with my salad and working on the next main. The owner came to our table after we received the bill and checked in with us and we let him know our last order of drinks never came and we already finished our food. He was very nice and advised us a bartender called out sick so we will not let this one experience ruin anything. I absolutely will give this place another chance when I'm back in town. It's that good. The ambiance inside was so nice. If you're into content creation then there is so many opportunities for you to get some great shots! I enjoyed myself and it seemed as though the people taking food and our waiter may have been new. Such as dropping used silverware on my dress messing it up, but they were so apologetic and it's still 5 stars for me. Hopefully when I come back I'll update with a much better review. That suya platter was amazing had such a beautiful nice kick to it. We ordered the snapper as well The steak cooked medium well was amazing and also such great flavor. Would I come here to eat again? No! Would I come here to drink again? Absolutely! STRONG DELICIOUS DRINKS I ordered the kebab platter. It came with uncooked veggies & no sauce or chimichurri. This place is off the beaten path, but no small potatoes by any means. Don't let it's obscure parking lot sway you, make your way through the adorable pink archway and enter a garden oasis. This place is beautifully decorated and great for a brighter, date night. There's a lot of faux plants that I imagine are going to be pain to dust, but it's a very serene and relaxed environment. We sat at a booth and my only complaint is the seats are so plush that you kind of just sink in toc them and my back needs a bit more support than that, which meant I was kind of eager to head out once I finished my food. Food wise, they boast an eclectic, multicultural menu. We had the coconut shrimp starter and the harvest stew and ribeye for dinner. Everything we had was delicious! I am no expert on African or Thai food so I am not sure I am the right person to critique the flavors I had for accuracy, but we enjoyed every bite. My partner got the Un-apple-genically cocktail which he very much enjoyed. Be aware this place is very pricey. You definitely get a lot of food in the main courses. Some dishes seemed appropriately priced (ribeye for 35$), while others were way steep (20$ for 4 coconut shrimp). We spent 170$ for an app, 2 dinner and 1 cocktail. I spotted this gem over the summer and decided to take my friend for her birthday. This restaurant is beautifully decorated with a cozy vibe. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. Our server was Victoria. I made reservations on line in which I was charged $25 for a party of eight, however there was a severe rain storm and flooding so only four showed up. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. I ordered the whole fried snapper with cabbage slaw, sweet potato and yucca fries, and sweet plantain, as well as jollof rice with fried turkey. My friends ordered a burger with fries, branzino over shrimp and scallops with rice. I also ordered a sangria and my friends ordered two cocktail margaritas. The presentation of the food was top notch and the flavor did not disappoint. The snapper was phenomenal and didn't need any condiments. It was seasoned through and through and made my tastebuds dance. My friends also really enjoyed their meals, commenting they would definitely come again. The sangria was delicious as were the mocktails. However the meals came out in an odd order, the snappers were served first then about 20 minutes later the branzino and about 15 minutes afterward the burger. We were there for over two hours and my jollof rice hadn't come and the server had been reminded an hour prior. Eventually I requested for the order to be put in take out container. My friend requested the manager and she not only went to the kitchen and got my order, she gave it to me for free in an effort to make me whole. To their defense this is a small establishment and there was a party of 40 people that they were serving as well. I'll definitely give them another try during a less busy time. This restaurant been completely unresponsive. I've called multiple times during their business hours with no answer and not even the option to leave a voicemail, it just hangs up eventually. I've sent an email with no response. I've even messaged on Instagram twice and both times the message was read with no response. I shouldn't have to jump through hoops to try to make a reservation for a party and spend our money there. read more

Suya spice platter is spicy. The beef is tender and pairs well with the vegetable slaw. However if you don't like spicy food do not order it. Honey croquettes is different from the Spanish croquettes. The inside of the croquette is wet and felt gummy while chewing . It was flavorful but I didn't like the texture of the inside. Island heat burger was ok, it needed a bit more sauce and was better without the pineapples. The fries were perfect. Ribeye dinner was ok. The sauce taste like it's for a seafood boil. It didn't pair with the steak but it gave the mash potatoes flavor. Mash potatoes on its on didn't have much flavor. I would have liked for the asparagus to have been bigger. Make reservations, it's recommended or be prepared to sit at the bar. Overall it was a good experience. You should try it. read more

My experience here was great, from the warm and attentive service to the comfortable, upscale atmosphere. My sandwich was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented, showing real care from the chef. The restaurant and restrooms were clean also, and the service was on point, making the evening smooth and enjoyable. The décor was appropriate and fitting. I love the visual of the Garden of Eden as a paradise oasis. Tasteful without being too gaudy. I must say the ambience was great, the wait staff was courteous, and attentive without being too "present" at all times which can be annoying and make your dining experience awkward even with the best of intentions. They checked in at appropriate intervals which was refreshing. Then the food... Food or rather "good" food is a treat for all four senses. I love when a very descriptive yet not overly verbose description of the dish is given. That sets the stage and gives a mental picture even before you see it. This is a joy like a great speaker giving an intro for your favorite artists or speaker. Then to follow that up with the sight of that dish meeting and sometimes exceeding the description of the dish and then the aroma matches. This builds anticipation of the texture and taste of the dish. * Barrel-Aged Honey Croquettes - Great flavor with a subtle sweetness that complimented the overall taste of this great start to the evening. * Paradise Coconut Shrimp - I am always skeptical of Coconut Shrimp being too sweet or to Coconutty, but this mix was a perfect blend that was well balanced. * Deep Fried Eggplant Parm - Eggplant is a love or not type of dish, but this presentation will be sure to win over some not type of diners as it was well seasoned, with a perfect ratio of cheese to sauce, and fried to perfection. * Nigerian Jollof Rice - A nice change of pace from some of the overly South Flrida flavors that was just spicy enough without being too aggressive. * Whole Roasted Catfish - I am southerner who loves catfish in general. This was a different experience as it was whole and roasted. While the flavor was good the texture was interesting. Be aware it has a little bit of a kick of spice for sure. 11/9/25 Our first visit today at 2:00 pm early afternoon, not crowded. Recent news reports raved about the food experience. Not for us. Ordered meat balls w/egg plants, terrible. My husband ordered a med well rib eye steak with mashed potato's. Steak was inedible. It was returned. I ordered Salmon they said they ran out, my second choice was chicken & jollop rice, chicken was inedible, fried too hard, rice not seasoned; this choice was terrible as well. No one from management came out to address our disappointment! Issues only addressed by our waitress! The rib eye only was finally removed from the bill. Total bill was $75+. Not a good experience!! I was so excited to book their private interactive room but the management didnt care for my business. Very unprofessional, not organized. I called to gain clarity on the details because my emails were left unanswered. I guess i had to many questions. Lol I was told 3 different prices and was trying to figure out the details for payment. I was laughed at by the lady on the phone when I said "you all are not organized" she couldnt find my reservations on the date I requested amd paid a deposit. She might have been laughing knowing they always mess up. Lol I am so disappointed in our community, we dont care anymore about customer service or treating people with kindness. The interior design is stunning, chic, and creates a fantastic vibe for a night out. It's a beautiful space, and the service was okay--nothing spectacular, but the staff was polite enough. However, the food was a major letdown: * Ribeye Steak: Extremely tough and difficult to cut through. For the price point, I expected a much better quality of meat. * Mashed Potatoes: Very bland and lacked any real seasoning or flavor. * Calamari: This was the most disappointing part; it was mostly just fried crumbs with very little actual squid to be found. * The Fish: This was the only highlight of the meal--it was fresh and well-prepared. As you enter, you are greeted and welcomed! The place is clean, very clean! Decor is very nice! Our wait person was excellent, attentive and professional( her name was "Merklynn")not sure of spelling! She was also the bar tender. I am thinking that might have been the reason of problem with the food temperature! The food was super tasty, very flavorful but barely warm! The fried snapper was hot, very hot and full of flavor(10/10). The drinks were great but over priced! The Calamari was good, tender and not chewy the sauces for it were good as well! Would I go back, yes, service was good! Would probably only have beer and appetizers! , the bar tender makes some nice drinks the lemon drop martini was nice!
