Half dozen of Apple pie, chocolate and powdered sugar
    Sandra P.

Highly recommended. Friendly service and freshly made. Had half dozen of apple pie, powdered sugar and chocolate - warm, crunchy outside with soft insides. Delicious! Because they don't use food coloring the Chocolate didn't look like chocolate but the flavor was there. All 3 kids approved. Have some while taking a trip off the cruise ship in Icy Straight Point.

Customer Service: 5 Quality of food: 5 Affordability: 5 Location: 5 This was an very nice little donut hut in Honnah, Alaska during our port stop. It was at the Icey Strait Point location, which I'm pretty sure it's only accessible by cruise ship or by boat. It was about a 10 minute walk from the cruise port, and well worth a visit. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered many different favors of donuts, and their prices were very affordable. The donuts came out very warm and were absolutely delicious and delightful.

Choose 1 flavor per 1/2 dozen donuts. Donuts come off fryer hot! Calories don't count!

Carving some donuts: powdered sugar & salted caramel.

Huge long lines but worth the wait. Wife loves donuts and I wanted a coffee so I stood in line. I got 6 powdered sugar and 6 salted caramel. Made some new friends when a couple of young brothers were filming and asked what I had. I offered them a taste and we got to talking. We were both on the same deck of the Carnival cruise line and we lived less than 10 miles away from each other. Little donuts make NEW friends!!! This is nothing more than a little hut but there were a lot of people working in there. I believe these are a fundraiser to feel the local needy so a great way to give back while enjoying a little donut.

Hoonah is the cutest little town with some great people! We stopped here on our cruise and with the cold weather, these warm doughnuts sounded delicious! This was by far our favorite stop, and these little doughnuts were a perfect snack while watching the whales! The military discount was awesome, and the staff were so friendly and helpful since there were so many flavors to choose from! We ended up getting snickerdoodle and chocolate espresso, my boyfriend loved the espresso and I loved the snickerdoodle but both were delicious! Will definitely be stopping by if we port here again! And the line moves so quickly, it's worth the wait!!

Great spot to stop for a sweet treat. Got the spiced apple cider and it was delicious. The services was super quick even with many people waiting it only took a couple minutes to get our doughnuts after ordering. Great locations to walk around with a bag of doughnuts and enjoy the scenery.

Very nice walk up coffee and donut shop located in the port area of Icey Strait. Excellent full bodied cup of coffee that is a huge step up from the cruise ship coffee (swill) we had been drinking for the past week. Another thing of note they offer a military discount which is very nice of which we took full advantage of which lowered our price to $2 for a large cup of coffee. Nice!

Yummy!!! Got the snickerdoodle, maple bacon, chocolate espresso, and peach mango habanero. Snickerdoodle was my favorite! Some of the best donuts I've had

They make mini donuts. They have a variety of flavored powders. They are all white powder, which is odd when you get the chocolate and it's a white powder. But, very tasty. Overpriced, but that's par for the course for a tourist. It's worth getting a bag or two for a snack as you walk around.

After hopping off the cruise ship and walking into Icy Strait Point, "DOUGHNUT SHOP" caught my eye on the map. Walking along the dock, pass the private residences and cemetery, and through the retail shops and museums, you'll be greeted with the tiny donut shop. Mini donuts were tasty with every bite! Waited in line for 30 minutes but it was well worth it. By 2pm they were already out of donuts so try to stop here first before browsing the shops and restaurants. $5 for 6 and $10 for 12 mini donuts

Super fun variety. We loved sharing and trying different flavors. The donuts are small so don't be afraid to order a couple flavors.

They offer three different sizes, but when they ran out of medium cups they gave me a small cup and charged me for the medium. Seems like a sneaky way to rip off customers/tourists, right? I tried to bring it to their attention, hoping for some understanding, but they flat-out refused to put the drink in a larger cup, despite the fact that they had run out of the medium ones. So, we asked for a refund, which felt like the only fair thing to do under the circumstances--but guess what? They refused that too. To make matters worse, the latte wasn't even good. It was bland and tasted nothing like the quality I'd expect from a decent coffee shop. On top of all this, the staff was incredibly rude. I really wanted to support a local business, but after this experience, I can't say I'd recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for good service, fair pricing, and a decent latte, look elsewhere. So we received poor service when we called them out for ripping off customers. Sounds about right.

Pretty much the only place to get a snack by where the cruise ships dock. They have a small freezer with ice cream bars, a few refrigerators with sodas and a few sandwiches and some assorted chips, popcorn, jerky and candy bars. They also have a small coffee counter where you can order a coffee, latte, espresso etc. I picked up a soda for the Husband and a 1oz bag of chips for me and paid about $4 for both. Yikes! For a snack your best bet would be to walk out of the shop (which is in the building where you depart for your various excursions) and take a right around the corner. There you will run into a hut that sells donuts and a spiral cut potato on a stick. Yummy! #bestbet

The person working went out of her way to get the box for me to double check which was SO nice and they were able to handle my allergy to avocado well also. I wish they had ketchup, though that would have made it even better! Coffee here is excellent and the gift shop is really cute! Now for the second time we came here. We came here after finding Sunnyside closed, and on a Tuesday the pub also was closed. It was 1:45pm when we walked in (not busy). They serve crepes only 10am-2pm, clearly stated on signage. The girls working (who were different from the morning, we had just been there for coffee) would not serve us the crepes since it was too close to 2pm (though 15 min before), which was a bummer with very little/no other options in town, and we ended up spending less than we would have. Wish they would post actual hours on signage (til 1:30/45) or would have accommodated as I was excited for the gf crepes and was hungry! We settled for other little things and left a little empty stomached. Lovely little spot to check out overall, though!

Last time biscuits were more flavorful and the gravy was delectable and full of many flavors. This time it's slightly better than the canned country gravy. The eggs, while can tell they are eggs, are extremely dry and overcooked. One of the ladies that helped me seemed to have a wedgie, very tight mannered, kinda pleasant but not at all. The other one who helped me was vice. Still enjoy the location overlooking the dock with some mountains in the background. Don't know what happened but hope they improve to last years level. Really sad, really truly sad. Couldn't even finish the whole plate. Maybe I'll be back if bored bit ship has better food this year. Which is also sad.
