The line moved quick and we were able to get a seat inside. We went with the red and golden crab to see what the difference was besides the price! The red crab was definitely better in terms of taste. The price is ridiculous as the red crab was $90 for a leg and the golden crab was $65 per leg. Since we were here, we had to eat it though. We also got a cup of the crab bisque. It was good and what made it better was putting more crab into it! The bread was realistically just a Hawaiian roll with a little garlic butter. There wasn't enough garlic taste for our liking. We told our friend to make a little crab sandwich with her roll.

Our travel agent recommended Tracy's. I love crab so we decided to try it. It is located right…read morenext to the cruise docks. We had to wait in line about 30 minutes to place our order. They have their system down to a science. Once we ordered we found seats right away. The food came out quickly considering how long it took to place the order. We both had the combination plates. They included crab bisque, crabcakes, a roll and crab legs. I chose the golden king crab, and my husband chose the snow crab. I like the king crab better than the snow crab. Although the serving size was not as large, the crab meat was more firm and flavorful. I grew up eating Dungeness crab in the San Francisco area so I have high expectations. I felt the golden king crab was as tasty. The crab bisque had a nice flavor. It was creamy and had chunks of crab in it. The crab cakes were ok. The sauce that accompanies them helped their flavor. Out bill with drinks was $165. Crab is a must have when in Alaska and Tracy's serves it quickly and efficiently.

They offer three different sizes, but when they ran out of medium cups they gave me a small cup and charged me for the medium. Seems like a sneaky way to rip off customers/tourists, right? I tried to bring it to their attention, hoping for some understanding, but they flat-out refused to put the drink in a larger cup, despite the fact that they had run out of the medium ones. So, we asked for a refund, which felt like the only fair thing to do under the circumstances--but guess what? They refused that too. To make matters worse, the latte wasn't even good. It was bland and tasted nothing like the quality I'd expect from a decent coffee shop. On top of all this, the staff was incredibly rude. I really wanted to support a local business, but after this experience, I can't say I'd recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for good service, fair pricing, and a decent latte, look elsewhere. So we received poor service when we called them out for ripping off customers. Sounds about right.

Pretty much the only place to get a snack by where the cruise ships dock. They have a small freezer with ice cream bars, a few refrigerators with sodas and a few sandwiches and some assorted chips, popcorn, jerky and candy bars. They also have a small coffee counter where you can order a coffee, latte, espresso etc. I picked up a soda for the Husband and a 1oz bag of chips for me and paid about $4 for both. Yikes! For a snack your best bet would be to walk out of the shop (which is in the building where you depart for your various excursions) and take a right around the corner. There you will run into a hut that sells donuts and a spiral cut potato on a stick. Yummy! #bestbet
