I got to say, lunch here was actually a pretty smart choice. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is pretty clean[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the service was super friendly (though slow to get things out to us, like drinks), and speaking of drinks, they got those fancy red cups every Italian restaraunt carries. I swear, even tap water tastes good from them. We got their lunch specials, which were meatball sandwiches, and I must say, hits that lunch itch when you just want a sandwich. Stays in the gut for a while too. Double bonus.

Excellent Pizza. I'm originally from New York State so I am naturally a little picky when it comes to Pizza. My husband Ryan and I Loved our pepperoni large pizza we got. It was hot and fresh and ready immediately to go. They had very friendly staff and we will for sure be going again soon!

Maybe an off night, but the worst pizza we've had in Colorado. I've never seen so much grease on a Za. I asked the server "would you eat that?" We'll never be back. I'm surprised people eat here. The place is gross & dirty as well. Ewwwww

We had planned to have a late lunch at a neighboring establishment, but they were closed for Winter break. We ended up not being disappointed at all! Despite trying to go low carb, we hadn't had a dine-in Italian food experience for a while and it was so worth the splurge! The Caprese Salad was 9 pieces, with very generous slices of Mozzarella. First time I'd had it in a restaurant rather than making it or having it at a family gathering. Felt like it was a decent value, but of course, tomatoes weren't at the prime season. (And bonus: tossed the 5 leftover pieces with spinach & romaine and Voila: dinner!) Mr H. Had the All Meat Combo Calzone (with added onion & black olive). It was huge and the best part was that the crust was thin enough to ensure the generous filling didn't make it soggy. The Marinara was superb. I finally chose the Chicken Parmigiana. I substituted the Fettuccini Alfredo for spaghetti because I grew to love that combo from a Taylorsville, UT place that used to offer it. And the Alfredo sauce was everything I hoped for--buttery & creamy with a hint of pepper that didn't overpower it. The accompanying garlic knots were really good. The breading on the chicken was light, flavorful, and above par. And the moist chicken was delightfully dowsed in Mozzarella the way I always thought it should be, but have never actually been presented. Also commendable; both our entrées were served piping hot! Our server? Megan was amazing from the moment she greeted us at the door to pick a seat (we were a little unsure as to whether they offered more than pizza and were gazing around the restaurant for clues). She served our meal with just the right amount of attention. My favorite part? When I informed her that the Ladies Room was out of paper towels, she didn't roll her eyes at me like a lot of employees do, and promptly took care of the situation! (Which was extra urgent because of the sign on the door imploring everyone to wash their hands!)

Coming to you live...because I could feel it wasn't going to go well. At the bar, I was given a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. Ordered a chardonnay and 15 minutes later, nothing in front of me. A lot of people buzzing about and absolutely no attention. Including those who appear to be the owners. Beginning to question if the owners know anything about running a restaurant. Insinuating lack of real server training. From what I'm witnessing "no." Apparently, there is on the spot training going on for a new POS system. Why is that happening during peak business? Yes, I'm critical about this. As well as the servers engaged with making setups, refilling salt and pepper, but I'm still starring at a finished salad for 15 minutes. Oh, and one server is cleaning the bar ignoring this plate. As I notice the owner playing solitaire on his laptop! Really? Turns out, apprising one of the servers of the poor experience it translated to a no charge meal. I insisted on paying but was told "no." Such a shame. The food was decent. Kitchen deserves to be complimented. Ironically, there is a sign on the front door promoting locally owned vs chain. Well, sorry to inform everyone Bonefish is doing a much better job than Lil' Ricci's. * two stars because the kitchen saved the day. PS spin the salad before serving. read more

This place had ok pizza. Nothing extraordinary, but ok. The waiter got my order wrong and when they brought the pizza out didn't offer to fix it. I didn't feel like fighting so I just kept it. Like I said, it was just OK. read more

Not NY pizza but as close as your going to get here in Colorado. The Calzones are excellent, and they have a great bang for your buck lunch menu on weekdays. When I am jonesing for a slice Lil Ricci's is my go-to place. read more

Loved almost everything about this place. The ricci calzone was delicious. I asked for a side of Alfredo sauce to dip it in... Worth it! I did think the calzone itself was a bit basic in terms of flavor (again, don't be a fool, get that side of Alfredo sauce and take care of your taste buds) also, red sauce vs marinara sauce, the red sauce is spicier. went here on my lunch break Thursday July 21st,2022. First off, seats and tables were not wiped down, had to ask for a rag from an employee and then he wiped it down. We asked how long food would take and the lady said 10 mins. "Buffalo" wings came out somewhat fast but then sat there for 5 minutes because our "waiter" archie was sitting on her phone and her coworker had to tell her to go, Never offered me a drink refill until cup was completely empty. Visited here for lunch. It was okay. They have some reasonably priced lunch specials and I had a slice and a salad with balsamic dressing. The salad was good - fresh, crisp and a nice mix. The thin crust oversized slice was just alright. Having lived most of my life in the NY metro area I'm definitely a snob when it comes to NY style pizza. I'd give it a B-. The service quick and good. I'd certainly stop in again to try some of their other dishes. read more

Growing up on Long Island and living in NYC I was a bit uneasy eating pizza in Colorado. Needless to say I had nothing to worry about. The pizza was very good. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this spot! read more

I have to give them the lowest rating possible because I went in, sat down, ordered a beer. The waitress brought me my beer and never came back. She must have walked directly past me at least 10 times. The place was not packed, just slightly busy. She never looked at me again. I had to go to the counter to pay for my beer because she wouldn't even come to the table for payment. read more

We go to Lil' Ricci's two or three times a year - it's close to home and has easy access and plenty of parking. And every time we go, I ask myself why we only go two or three times a year. We always have pizza and the pizza is always good. Is it "authentic" NY pizza? I'll leave that to the transplanted NYers to decide. But whatever it is, it's good pizza. The dining room is comfortable with lots of TVs and a variety of sports always on. The service is pleasant and somewhere between good enough and very good (servers always work hard but "good enough" can relate to being understaffed). Several Yelpers have commented that it's a little more expensive than the competition. It is - maybe that's why we only go two or three times a year. But it's not off the wall pricey - our two favorite pizzas are the All Meat Combo (five meats and extra cheese) and Ricci's Combo (two meats, four veggies and extra cheese) - both come in at a little under $22 for 18-inch pies. They also serve salads, pastas, calzones and sandwiches, but bottom line, Lil' Ricci's is about pizza. Here's one useful tip - the Sunday special (I'm hoping they still have the Sunday special) - for around $20 you get a large pizza, family-size salad and a family-size, warm from the oven chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and chocolate syrup on top. No issue about "pricey" with this special. I really do like Lil' Ricci's so I need to step up my patronage. Probably on Sunday nights. Might even bring the family. Or, maybe I'll just engage in gluttonous debauchery, attacking the Sunday special all by myself. (Nah - probably not - don't think my doctor would allow it. Definitely my wife would not.) read more

After a 22 hour drive from OH to CO I needed food and beer and this was the only place within walking distance to my hotel. Food was outstanding especially the Italian sausage stuffed jalapeños wrapped in prosciutto. Beer was perfect and service was great. Not sure about the rap music but it takes all sorts! read more

Great place to grab a pie or amazing calzone but plan your visit accordingly. We found out the hard way that the kitchen closes at 9pm on saturday night and the staff gets cranky if you come in ner closing time. read more

I visited the location in Golden twice over two days. I always look for New York style pizza whenever I travel. This place has very high ratings First impression was the incredibly friendly staff. Presley was very welcoming from the onset and made great suggestions. I ordered two cheese slices on each visit. The crust was great, the cheese and sauce were very good. Unfortunately, in my experience NYC pizzas are a tad bit more greasy than NY style pizzas in other cities, this went the other way. It was too greasy. The oil on the second slice literally soaked through the crust and made that slice impossible to finish. However, overall it was good enough to visit a second time. Not as bad in the second trip but still would benefit from a little less oil. I shall certainly try to visit again but may ask them to go easy on the oil. I would love to give this place 5 stars in the future. read more

I have been a fan for quite awhile. Since the Tamarac Square days with Big Bill. Sunday we had the pizza/ salad special and once again everything was on the money. Pizza was cooked perfectly and the antipasto salad was fresh and loaded. The waitress was all over it, quick and precise and nice. (Harder to find lately) Definitely worth your time and money, you won't be disappointed. read more

I had dinner here with my family and we had a horrible experience. Angelina or Angella was our server and she was horribly rude. She ignored us when we needed her to get our bill and a box. It took over 60 minutes just to get our food (the place wasn't busy) the last couple of times my family and I have been here it has been a horrible experience. Will not be back. read more

Decided to go here because the drive home in rush hour traffic would be treacherous with hungry kids. Went in, and the dining area is clean and the staff is friendly! They have cool sayings on their shirts too! We were so happy to find out that on Wednesdays: Buy a Large Pizza and get a Small Cheese Pizza FREE! That's always music to our ears when you have hungry kids that love Cheese Pizza! So we got an order of garlic knots, a Large Pizza (1/2 Pepperoni & 1/2 Buffalo Chicken), Small Cheese Pizza (yay for free!), and a 10 inch Veggie Combo Pizza (with white sauce) on a Gluten-free crust for me. Now, I can't vouch for the other pizzas or the garlic knots...But judging from the full mouths and quiet kids...the Cheese Pizza & Garlic Knots were a hit! The adults liked the Pepperoni, and the Buffalo Chicken had a kick! The Veggie Combo pizza on Gluten-Free crust was delicious! I ate it ALL Up! Our order fed 4 adults and 4 hungry kids :) So... I may not be an expert on New York Style Pizza, but I'm a fan of thin crust... And this pizza was awesome. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try! read more

Soup was lukewarm & bland. SMALL portion of spaghetti was lukewarm and the meat sauce was very watery. The sausage was excellent but an extra dollar for it is crazy. No military or senior discount. $10.50 OTD was way too expensive for this mediocre meal. read more

I really like this place and have eaten here many times. Usually get the cheese pizza (i know it's kind of basic) which is some of the best this side of town. Honestly didn't want to like this place being as it is one of 3 locations but they have consistently provided a terrific product every time (there have been dozens). Only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is sometimes the wait staff can be a bit unfriendly when I'm getting take out- but pizza is fantastic so whatever. Keep it up! read more

I'm not too much of a deep dish type guy, I like NY style, but I had to try Blue Pan. Glad I did. We got a simple pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The arancini were some of the best I have ever had. The place is cozy yet has a vibe of a sports bar sort of place. It's unique, and I love it. We'll be back for sure.

We ordered the Classic sausage Sammie and the classic bacon Sammie on sourdough which come with sunny side up eggs) plus an Oreo cookie latte (decadent with marshmallow cold foam!) to share. Packed full of people fellowshipping over food and readers and workers/students on laptops. Our food and drink were ready in 10 minutes.
