I had the Shrimp Scampi which was outstanding. The toasted ravioli is also really good. I'd love to try their lasagna next time. They have a Lake Ozark location too, and I'd really like to visit that one as well.

We've vacationed several times in Osage Beach, but we had never tried this place before. It's now one of our favorite places, and I highly recommend it if you're in the area. The decor is nice, and the servers are skilled and attentive. The food is the main event, and it doesn't disappoint. The menu offers a lot of options, and it all tastes fresh and delicious. I had the Shrimp Scampi which was outstanding. The toasted ravioli is also really good.

I'd love to try their lasagna next time. They have a Lake Ozark location too, and I'd really like to visit that one as well.

was disappointed. It was advertised as a chicken breast on a bed of angel hair pasta with a garlic butter sauce. The tiny chicken breast was so delicious, some of the best I've ever had. Sadly there was little or no garlic butter sauce and the noodles tasted very bland. What could have easily been an excellent dish seemed very underwhelming. I will eventually give them another try and hopefully have a better experience next time.

We had a great experience at this place! We were seated very quickly with no wait. The rolls were GREAT, and are even better dipped in marinara or Alfredo sauce. We ordered some cheese sticks, and they were very good, but a bit small in size for the price. The entrees were amazing, both in quality and portion size, and everyone in my group was very pleased. Also, our server was super sweet, quick, and helpful, and answered all of our questions!

Always love eating here. The food never disappoints. Hot and fresh. Salad is always a hit at our table. Tortellini Alfredo (to die for) Shrimp scampi past (Excellent) and a glass of Moscato. I eat here anytime I'm at the Ozarks. Our waitress was phenomenal and beyond friendly (This was on a Wednesday, Feb 22nd around 230pm) I did not get her name and I wished I had bc she was a delight.

I've been either living at or visiting the Lake of the Ozarks all my life and somehow had missed dining at Li'l Rizzos. I was excited to have lunch with my brother and sister in law. We were seated quickly. The decor is very "Tuscan" with arches and pillars. The waitress came quickly for our orders. We had the spinach, green chili and Jalepeno dip with tortilla chips. It was excellent. Creamy and very flavorful and not too spicy. My sister in law had the lasagna. It was an ample portion. She enjoyed it as it had lots of cheese and sauce. Fun atmosphere! It's like walking into an Italian version of Cheers (old sitcom). The staff is so warm and treats you like your bff's. The food is like eating in my grandma's kitchen. Perfectly Italian. Not the Americanized version but the good ol' Mama style. I had a craving for spaghetti and it hit the spot. Hubby had Calzone and licked his plate clean. It was stuffed full and oozed out when he cut into it. Now let's talk drinks the adult kind!! The Cherry Limeade was to die for!! Holy yum balls!! Can't wait to try some of the others but it'll be hard to not order the Cherry Limeade, too.

My husband and I moved to the Lake from St. Louis four years ago, and Li'l Rizzo's is ABSOLUTELY our favorite restaurant that we take all of our company to. The food is some of the best we've found, and we think the pizza is the best at The Lake. The service is always excellent, particularly a hostess named Lily (SOOO friendly and awesome!), a bartender named Jessica (excellent), a waitress name Chloe, and a waiter named Rey, Rey. But honestly, all of the staff is great, and we can't say enough about this restaurant. read more

Went here for the first time after spending a few weekends at the lake and we wish we would have went sooner! We stay on Horseshoe bend but went to the outlet location. Waitress was wonderful, salad was fresh and crisp breadsticks were still warm from the oven. Lunch tasted great and we even asked our waitress for a to go box of salad with dressing on the side and she threw in a basket of breadsticks for us. We will be going back and making this a regular stop when we go to the lake. read more

First time here. Was going to Outback Steakhouse but the wait was ridiculous. Ordered chicken wings dry rub , pretty tasty, pizza was quite big for a medium. Would stop by again and best of all no wait time. Live music was also nice and good theme . read more

Went in tonight January 5th 2017. Walked in and the entire staff was cleaning because of snowy weather, but they didn't fail to give us the attention or the good food we have come to know from Lil Rizzoli. Restaurant is always clean, but is nice to see the staff taking so much pride in their establishment and then to prepare, serve and take great care of us. Kudos.....great place to eat, definitely will be back. read more

we really tried to like this place, but we've been more disappointed than happy. the first time we went here we went to the other location, which may just be better ran, as it was actually pretty good. however the last few times we went here it was at the outlet mall location, and both times were disappointing. bread was super unfresh, like hockey pucks. I ordered chicken modiga and chicken was a breaded chicken finger. we have committed to never going here again, at least this location. we may give the other location another try. maybe.. read more

History

Established in 1985.

Li'l Rizzo's has been locally owned and operated by the Borders family since 1985. Founded by Carol Borders, Mike Rizzo, and Ed Alexander, the original Rizzo's was located on Bagnell Dam Boulevard in the location now occupied by Peckers. The original or "Big Rizzo's" was the first fine dining Italian restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks and one of the first to stay open year round! Rizzo's was an immediate success and Carol soon acquired full ownership. She maintained the name "Rizzo's" and the menu but had no affiliation with the "Rizzo's" restaurants in St. Louis. In 1987 Carol opened the first Li'l Rizzo's at the corner of Hwy 54 and KK. Li'l Rizzo's offered pizza, pasta and sandwiches. Memorial Day weekend 1990, Carol and daughter Linda opened the second Li'l Rizzo's on State Road HH. Li'l Rizzo's on HH was a hit, however, at the expense of the original Rizzo's and it was closed in 1991. Carol and son Bill opened the third Li'l Rizzo's adjacent to the Osage Beach Premium Factory

After more than two hours of waiting with no meals, we asked for to-go boxes and our bill. We ended up paying for our food before we ever received it so we could leave and get back to our boat. As we were leaving, the dock attendant asked how everything was. When I told her the service was awful and that we still hadn't eaten after two hours, her response was, "I'm not surprised." Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. We understand restaurants can get busy, but the lack of communication, organization, and timely service made this an experience we won't be repeating.
